The Entry Series® PPC7PS13B4M is a 7-output
passive device that provides broadband and
MoCA connectivity while limiting return noise
ingress.
The Passive MoCA Portal has three broadband
ports and four MoCA-only ports. The broadband
ports are to connect to things like DVR’s, WIFI
and other devices that need direct access to the
signals on the cable network.
The MoCA-only ports are to connect to those
devices that only use MoCA signals. MoCA
traffic can travel freely between the MoCA only
and broadband ports providing DVR
connectivity.
MoCA traffic is kept off the cable/access
network with more than 40 dB MoCA isolation
at the input.
