ASSEMBLY

side of the unit
2. Slot the lance / Spray bottle holder on
to the rear of the unit and align the
handle with the slots & holes on the top

OPERATION
To operate connect the water inlet to the mains water supply using a suitable hose
and connectors. If connecting to a mains drinking water supply a suitable back-flow
preventer must be fitted. Turn on the water. The water must be connected and
turned on before connecting the mains supply. Connect the power to the mains
supply using a RCCB 30ma circuit breaker. If using an extension lead the lead it
must be rated at 13 A, be fully unwound and suitable for outdoor use. Turn on the
pressure washer.
Connect either the lance attachment or the detergent bottle to the lance. The water
supply must be turned on before using the unit. The pressure washer is designed
to use only cold water. Never connect to hot water supply, this will reduce the life
of the Pressure washer and pump.

3. Water Connection
4. Water inlet. (Back)
5. High pressure hose.
6. High pressure outlet.
7. Spray lance.
8 Power socket.
(Parts 2 & 3 are not supplied)
4. Connect the pressure hose to the lance with the screw connector and tighten
with a 17mm spanner. Connect the opposite end to the pressure outlet and
tighten the screw thread in a clockwise direction.
5. Connect the 2 sections of the lance together by aligning the slots on the lance
with those on the nozzle section or attach the detergent bottle as required.

6
Using the lance;
The lance nozzle can be adjusted to give a concentrated or wide fan spray pattern.
Care should be taken using the narrow spray pattern that the force of the spray
does not damage the surface being cleaned. Larger areas can be cleaned faster
using a wider fan pattern and the risk of damage to surfaces will be greatly reduced.
Optimal cleaning angle;
When using the lance the maximum effect is achieved by
spraying the water ‘head on’ to the surface but this can
cause dirt particles to become imbedded in the surface
and reducing the cleaning effect. Optimum cleaning is
achieved with an angle of approximately 45 degrees to
the surface being cleaned. This gives the best
combination of spray force and debris removal.
At all times care should be taken to avoid using concentrated spray patterns, steep
spray angles and spraying too close to the surface to reduce the chances of
damaging the cleaning surface.
Using the detergent bottle;
NOTE: Use only detergents formulated to be used with a pressure washer and test
on a small inconspicuous area prior to full cleaning.
Always follow the manufacturer’s guidelines on the detergent to water ratio. The
detergent bottle will mix at ratio of approximately 5.4% (1 to 19) and the detergent
should be mixed in the bottle taking this ration into account.
To use the detergent bottle attach to the lance and unscrew the bottle. Fill the bottle
with the correct concentration of detergent and replace bottle on applicator.
Apply the detergent according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

Before cleaning, turn the pressure washer off, and disconnect from the mains

up liquid to remove any dust or dirt from the case. Do no use stronger detergents
or solvents as these may damage the case finish.
From time to time dirt or other objects may become trapped in the nozzle. To clean
you should turn off the unit and release any
pressure in the lance. Rotate the nozzle to
the narrow stream setting and using the
supplied Tip Cleaner you can slide back and
forth until the debris has been dislodged.
