1. SAFETY
9Follow all workshop health & safety rules, regulations, and conditions when using drill.
WARNING! Disconnect from air supply before changing accessories or servicing.
9Maintain the drill in good condition and replace any damaged or worn parts. Use genuine parts only. Non-authorised parts may be
dangerous and will invalidate the warranty.
WARNING! Check correct air pressure is maintained and not exceeded. We recommended 90 psi.
9Keep air hose away from heat, oil and sharp edges. Check air hose for wear before each use and ensure that all connections are
secure.
9Wear approved safety eye protection. If dust is generated wear respiratory protection, and safety gloves.
9Wear suitable clothing to avoid snagging. DO NOT wear loose jewellery and tie back long hair.
9Keep hands away from rotating chuck and drill bit.
9Keep drill bits clean and sharp for best and safest performance.
9Maintain correct balance and footing. Ensure the floor is not slippery and wear non-slip shoes.
9Secure non stable work piece with a clamp, vice or other adequate holding device.
9Ensure the chuck is securely fastened to the spindle and the drill bit is secure in the chuck.
9Keep children and unauthorised persons away from the working area.
8DO NOT get the drill wet or use in damp or wet locations.
8DO NOT apply excessive loads to the drill bit during operation.
8DO NOT hold the workpiece by hand. Use clamps or a vice to secure the workpiece.
8DO NOT use the drill for a task it is not designed to perform.
WARNING! DO NOT use drill if damaged or faulty. Contact your local service agent.
WARNING! Beware of high-reaction torque when breaking through the material being drilled.
8DO NOT use drill unless you have been instructed in its use by a qualified person.
8DO NOT drop, throw or abuse the drill.
8DO NOT carry the drill by the air hose, or yank the hose from the air supply.
8DO NOT operate drill if you are tired, under the influence of alcohol, drugs or intoxicating medication.
8DO NOT carry drill with your hand on the power trigger in order to avoid unintentional starting.
8DO NOT direct air from the air hose at yourself or others.
9When not in use disconnect from air supply and store in a safe, dry, childproof location.
