INSTRUCCIONES DE SEGURIDAD
Con el fin de evitar daños en la unidad o accidentes, lea atentamente las siguientes instrucciones de
seguridad antes de usarla por primera vez:
•Esta unidad no debe ser sumergida en agua ni en cualquier otro liquido, esto con el fin de evitar
choques eléctricos.
•No use esta unidad en ambientes húmedos tales como baños, cerca del lavabo, etc.
•Al conectar o desconectar la unidad hágalo sosteniendo el enchufe de energía. No lo haga halando
del cable de energía.
•No opere esta unidad si su cable de energía se encuentra dañado.
•Antes de conectar la unidad al tomacorriente, asegúrese que el voltaje del área es igual al voltaje
marcado en la placa de la unidad.
•No intente reparar la unidad usted mismo. Si se llega a presentar un problema con la misma,
contacte a un agente calificado para su revisión.
•Coloque la unidad sobre una superficie estable y seca.
•No utilice accesorios que no estén recomendados por el fabricante.
•Desconecte la unidad cuando esta no este siendo usada, o durante tormentas eléctricas.
•Nunca deje la unidad desatendida mientras esta se encuentre en uso, especialmente si hay niños
cerca.
•Esta unidad ha sido diseñada solo para fines domésticos, no la use con propósitos comerciales.
•Esta unidad solo debe ser usada en interiores. No la exponga a la lluvia o humedad.
•No use esta unidad con cables de extensión o adaptadores multi-tomas. Conecte siempre la unidad
a un tomacorriente independiente, esto para evitar choques eléctricos.
•No permita que el cable de potencia quede colgando sobre el borde de la mesa o un borde afilado,
ya que esto puede dañar el cable con el paso del tiempo. De igual manera, evite que el cable toque
superficies calientes.
•Esta unidad puede ser limpiada con un paño ligeramente humedecido. No utilice detergentes ni
solventes para limpiar la superficie. Seque completamente antes de usar nuevamente.
•Nunca toque la unidad o su enchufe de energía mientras tenga las manos mojadas.
•Llene la unidad siguiendo las marcas de nivel de agua como referencia. Nunca sobrepase la marca
que indica el nivel de llenado máximo, de lo contrario el agua se rebosara.
•Esta unidad solo debe ser usada con el soporte suministrado por el fabricante.
•Esta unidad puede ser usada por niños mayores de 8 años de edad, siempre y cuando hayan
recibido la información correspondiente sobre como usar la unidad y este siendo supervisados por
una adulto responsable.
•Guarde este manual de instrucciones para usarlo como referencia en caso de necesitarlo.
•No opere la unidad bajo las siguientes condiciones:
!Si la unidad o el cable de energía tiene señales de daños.
!Si la unidad se ha caído o ha recibido un fuerte golpe.
•Siempre remueva el enchufe del tomacorriente si la unidad no va a ser usada y después de cada
uso.
•Esta unidad ha sido diseñada para hervir agua únicamente. No coloque líquidos diferentes a agua
en el interior de la jarra.

USO DE LA UNIDAD
1. Coloque la unidad sobre una superficie estable.
2. Vierta la cantidad deseada de agua en la jarra. Tenga en cuenta las marcas de llenado de agua
ubicadas en la jarra. No toque las partes de la unidad excepto su manija.
3. Asegúrese que la tapa esta completamente cerrada antes de encender la unidad.
4. Coloque la jarra sobre la base de la unidad de tal manera que esta quede completamente fija.
5. Inserte el enchufe en el tomacorriente de manera segura.
6. Tan pronto el agua alcanza el punto de ebullición la unidad se apagara automáticamente al igual que
la luz indicadora.
7. Después de esto, el agua caliente puede ser vertida en un contenedor diferente. Haga esto con
mucha precaución.
Notas:
•Use solo agua fría y limpia para llenar la unidad.
•Esta unidad alcanza temperaturas muy altas, por lo tanto tenga mucha precaución al tocar cualquier
parte de la misma después de cada uso. Agarre la jarra solo por su manija cuando esta contenga
agua caliente en su interior.
•Al usar la unidad siempre preste mucha atención a las marcas de agua ubicadas en la jarra. No
sobrepase la marca de agua que indica el nivel máximo de llenado permitido, de lo contrario el agua
se rebosara.
•La unidad alcanzara el punto de hervido después de 5 minutos aproximadamente.
CORTE DE SEGURIDAD AUTOMATICO
La unidad cuenta con un mecanismo de corte de seguridad automático que la protege en caso de uso
inapropiado.
Si por accidente la unidad es operada sin agua o el agua se evapora completamente, este mecanismo
de seguridad apagara la unidad automáticamente.
Si esto llega a suceder, desconecte la unidad del tomacorriente y espere 15 o 20 segundos antes de
llenar de nuevo la unidad.
DESCALCIFICACION
Si la unidad se apaga antes de alcanzar el punto de ebullición, es una señal de que esta necesita ser
descalcificada.
Puede usar cualquier agente descalcificador, solo lea atentamente las instrucciones antes de usarlo. No
llene la jarra hasta el punto máximo, en caso que el agente descalcificador forme espuma.
Para retirar todos los residuos de este producto, permita que la unidad funcione varias veces. Enjuague
la unidad con agua fresca después de esto.

LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO
Antes de limpiar la unidad, asegúrese de desconectarla del tomacorriente y espere hasta que esta se
enfríe por completo.
No use agentes abrasivos para limpiar la unidad.
No sumerja la unidad en agua o en cualquier otro liquido. Use un paño ligeramente humedecido y libre
de lanas.

operating the appliance. Take care to follow the safety instruction at all time.

General safety guideline
1. Read the user manual before operating any appliance or equipment
2. To avoid risk of electric shock, do not immerse the equipment in water or use it in damp condition
3. White plugging or unplugging a power cord, hold it by the plug. Never pull it by the cord

Before inserting the mains plug into the socket, check that the mains supply voltage and current rating
corresponds with the power supply details shown on the appliance model label.
Never allow the heating base or the kettle to make contact with or be immersed in water. However,

should this happen, have the unit examined by a qualified service centre before using id again.
In order to comply with safety regulations and to avoid hazards, repairs of electrical appliances must be
carried out by qualified personnel, including the replacement of the power cord. If repairs are needed,
please send the appliance to our customer service department.

When removing the plug from the wall socket, never pull on the power cord. Children do not recognize
the dangers that may occur when operating electrical appliances. Therefore keep children away from
such appliances.
Do not attempt to remove any parts of the housing or insert any metal objects into the interior of the
appliance.
To prevent damage to the power cord, do not let it pass over sharp corners or edges. Do not position the
appliance or power cord on or near hot operate the appliance outdoors or with wet hands.
Use only clean cold water, and let the water run for approx two minutes before filling. The appliance
operates at very high temperatures. Caution: there is danger of scalding from escaping water or steam.
Do not touch any part of the kettle except the handle (7) when the appliance is in use and ensure that
the lid(1) is properly screwed. This appliance is designed for beating water only. Never put any other
liquid into the kettle.
When using the appliance, always pay attention to the water level marking(6)on the outside of the kettle.
Do not let the water level drop below the minimum level and do not exceed the maximum level.
Always place the appliance on a firm and level surface.
If electric kettle is no water, please don’t open “on/off” switch.
OPERATION GUIDELINES
Before using for the first time
Prior to initial use, clean it by going through several boiling cycles, using clean water with each cycle and
filling the kettle(2) to its upper marking. The water will reach boiling point after approximately 5 minutes,
when the unit switches off automatically.
Operation
Place the heating base (4) on a firm and level surface
Pour the desired amount of clean water into the kettle(2). Don’t touch any part of the kettle expect the
handle (7)when the appliance is in use, and ensure that the lid(1)is properly closed. The amount of water
can be measured by the level mark (5)on the outside of the kettle. Always pay attention to the minimum
and maximum levels and ensure that the lid(1)is properly and firmly closed.
Position the kettle in such a way on the base (4) that the underside of the kettle fits precisely onto the
contact unit on the base.
Insert the plug (5) into a wall socket
Put the on/off switch (8) to its “on” position to start the heating process. The indicator lamp(3)will light up.
As soon as the water reaches boiling point, the on/off switch (8) return automatically to the “off” position.
The indicator lamp (3) will go out. The water kettle can also be switched off manually by putting the
on/off switch to the “off” position.

The hot water may now be poured safely through the spout (1) into another container.
Safety cut-out
This kettle is equipped with a safety cut-out to protect the appliance from damage in case of
inappropriate use. Should the appliance be accidentally operated without water, or if all the water has
evaporated, the safety cut-out will automatically switch off the heating element.
In case a case, remove the plug from the wall socket immediately and refill the kettle only after an
adequate cooling down period about 15-20 seconds.
Decalcifying
Should the appliance switch off before reaching boiling point, this is sign that decalcifying is necessary.
Any regular descaling agent may be used, provided the relevant instructions are observed. Don’t fill the
kettle to the upper mark to avoid spillage if the descaling agent causes the water to foam
To clean the kettle thoroughly of any decalcification residues, let is go through several boiling cycles,
using clean water with each cycle. Rinse the kettle with clean water afterwards.
CLEANING AND CARE
Before cleaning the appliance, ensure it is disconnected from the power supply and has cooled down
completely
Don’t use abrasives or harsh cleaning solutions
Don’t immerse the base or the kettle in any liquid. To clean the exterior, a slightly damp, Lint-free cloth
may be used.
It is advisable to remove lime deposits form the kettle at regular intervals.
