Digital CEM Chain Elongation Measurement System
Seal-ring chains [ O-, X-, Z-, quad-rings ] have
alongerservicelifethanopenrollerchains.Up
untilnowithasbeenverydiculttodeterminethecorrect
degreesofwearwhichmovewithinarangeof1to2mm.
The digital CEM chain wear measurement system makes
it possible, for the rst time ever, to measure the exact
degree of wear.
Manymotor-cyclemanufacturersgive a maximumlength
increase of approx. 0.6% as the wear limit, so the max.
permissible chain elongation is accurately dened [ see
workshopmanuals].
The increase in length is the only accurate indicator!
Corresponding to the measurement method given by the
industry,thisservicetoolmakesitpossibleforthersttime
ever, to accurately, uncomplicatedly and quickly examine
[approx.2minutes]rollerandseal-ringchainswithdimen-
sionsof420to532.
Themeasurementvaluesmaybereadinmmandinches-
andnotedonthechecklist.

quivariententre1et2mm.
Le système de mesure numérique de l’usure de la chaî-
ne CEM permetpour la première fois la mesure exacte
du niveau d’usure.
Beaucoupdefabricantsdemotosparlentd’uneaugmen-
tationmaximaledelalongueurd’environ0,6%encequi
concernelalimited’usure,parconséquent,l’allongement
maximaldelachaîneautorisé,estdénidemanièrepré-
cise[voirmanueldesateliers].
L’augmentation de la longueur est le seul indicateur
correct !
Selonlaméthodedemesuredéfendueparl’industrie,cet
outild’assistancepermetpourlapremièrefoisuncontrôle
rapide,simpleetprécis[env.2minutes]deschaînesà
rouleaux et à joints toriques aux dimensions comprises
entre420et532.
Les valeurs de mesure peuvent être lues en mm et en
poucesetnotéessurlalistedecontrôle.

Das Digital-CEM Kettenverschleiß-Messsystem ermög-
licht erstmals das exakte Messen des Verschleißgrades.
Viele Motorradhersteller geben als Verschleißgrenze eine
maximaleLängenzunahmevonca.0,6%an,somitwirddie
max.zulässigeKettenlängungexaktdeniert[sieheWerk-
statthandbücher].
Die Längenzunahme ist der einzig korrekte Indikator!
Entsprechend der von der Industrie vorgegebenen Mess-
methode ermöglicht dieses Service-Werkzeug erstmals
ein präzises, unkompliziertes und schnelles Überprüfen
[ca. 2 Minuten] vonRollen-und Dichtringkettenin den
Dimensionenvon420bis532.
