Battery handling and usage
Only adults should handle the battery. Do not allow children to use the product unless the
battery cover is inserted.
Replace the battery only with the same type. The battery used in the product is one 3V lithium
CR2032 battery (supplied).
Replacing the battery
1.R emove the battery cover on the bottom of the scale.
2.I nsert one new battery with the print face up.
3.A ttach the battery cover.
The battery type used in this product is a CR2032 lithium battery.
This battery is located internally and is readily accessible.
Remove the battery cover to remove the battery.
This battery must be disposed of at your local recycling point.

Display
Working modes:
SETTING THE MEASUREMENT UNITS
You can select the measurement unit between the Metric (g, ml) or Imperial (lb:oz, fl’oz)
system.
Press the MODE button to select the desired working mode and then press the UNIT
button to convert between the two systems.
OPERATION
Weight Mode
1.Place the scale on a flat, stable surface.
2.Press the scale by hand and wait until the display to show 0 before you start weighing.
Make sure the scale is in weight mode. If not, repeatedly press the MODE button until
the weight mode indicator ( ) appears on the display.
3.Put ingredients to be weighed onto the surface of the scale.
4.The display will show the weight reading.
Volume Mode
1.P lace the scale on a flat, stable surface.
2.Press the scale by hand and wait until the display to show 0, then repeatedly press the
MODE button until the milk ( ) or water ( ) mode indicator appears on the display.
3.P lace a container (not supplied) on the scale.
4.P ress the ZERO button to reset display to 0.
5.P our liquid into the container. The display will show liquid volume.
6.T o view the weight of the liquid, repeatedly press the MODE button until the weight mode
indicator appears on the display.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
lean the scale with a slightly damp cloth. DO NOT immerse the scale in water or use
chemical / abrasive cleaning agents.
All plastic parts should be cleaned immediately after contact with fats, spices, vinegar
and strongly flavoured / coloured foods. Avoid contact with acids citrus juices.
Storage
Store the scale in a dry location.
The scale can be stored on a level surface or can be hung by using the wall mounting hole.
Zero & Tare Function
To measure items as they are added, use the Zero and Tare Functions. If the weight
of the items being measured is below 4% of the scale’s capacity (less than 0.2kg/0.4lb),
the Zero function is used. If the weight of the item exceeds 4% of the scale’s capacity,
the Tare function is used.
1.Place the first item within the centre of weighing area of the scale.
The display will show the weight reading of the first item.
2.Without removing the item, press ZERO to reset the display to 0.
3.Depending on the weight of the item, you will see the Zero indicator ( ) or the
Tare indicator ( )on the display.
4.With the first item still in place, add the next item to the surface of the scales.
The display will show the weight of that item.
5.Press ZERO to see the total weight of the two items.
6.Press ZERO again to reset the display to 0.
7.Repeat the steps above until all items have been added. Do not exceed the
maximum weight capacity of the scale.
Minus Function
If you add multiple items to the scale at one time to get a total weight, you can
identify the value of a single item by using the minus function.
1.P lace items to the scale.
The display will show the total weight.
2.P ress ZERO to reset the display to 0.
3.R emove an item.
The display will show the weight of the removed item with the minus function
indicator ( ).
4. Press ZERO to see the weight of any remaining items.
5.R epeat steps above as needed.
Auto Shut-Off
The scale will automatically power off when the display shows 0 or the weight reading for
about 1 minute.
Warning messages
When the display shows “Lo”, replace the battery.
When the scale is overloaded, the display will show “Err”. Remove item to avoid damage.

MISES EN GARDE IMPORTANTES
Cette balance doit toujours reposer sur une surface plane et dure lorsqu’elle fonctionne.
NE PAS utiliser sur une moquette.
Cette balance ne doit pas subir de chocs ou de chutes, ni être secouée.
Cette balance doit être gardée au sec.
Manipulation et utilisation de la pile
La pile doit impérativement être manipulée par un adulte. Ne laissez pas un enfant
utiliser l'appareil si le couvercle du compartiment à pile n'est pas en place.
La pile doit toujours être remplacée par une pile du même type. Cet appareil fonctionne
avec 1 pile lithium 3 V CR2032 (fournie).
Changement de la pile
1.Ôtez le couvercle du compartiment à pile, situé sous l’appareil.
2.I nsérez 1 pile neuve avec le côté imprimé vers le haut.
3.R emettez en place le couvercle du compartiment à pile.
Cet appareil fonctionne avec une pile lithium CR2032 de 3 V.
Cette pile est située à l'intérieur et est facilement accessible.
Pour sortir la pile, ôtez le couvercle du compartiment.
À la fin de sa durée de vie, la pile doit être apportée au centre
de recyclage le plus proche.

RÉGLAGE DE L'UNITÉ DE MESURE
Vous avez la possibilité d'utiliser les unités de mesure du système métrique (g, ml)
ou impérial (lb:oz, fl’oz).
Choisissez le mode de fonctionnement à l'aide de la touche MODE puis utilisez la
touche UNIT pour passer d'un système de mesure à l'autre.
UTILISATION
Mode poids
1. Placez la balance sur une surface plane et stable.
2.A vec votre main, appuyez légèrement sur la surface de la balance et attendez que
l'écran affiche 0 pour commencer la pesée.
Vérifiez que la balance est en mode poids. Si ce n'est pas le cas, appuyez sur MODE le
nombre de fois nécessaire pour que l'indicateur de mode poids ( ) s'affiche à l'écran.
3.M ettez les ingrédients à peser sur la balance.
4.L 'écran affiche le poids.
Mode volume
1.P lacez la balance sur une surface plane et stable.
2.A vec votre main, appuyez légèrement sur la surface de la balance et attendez que l'écran
affiche 0, appuyez sur MODE le nombre de fois nécessaire pour que l'indicateur de mode
lait ( ) ou eau ( ) s'affiche à l'écran.
3.P lacez un récipient (non fourni) sur la balance.
4.A ppuyez sur ZÉRO pour remettre l'affichage à 0.
5.V ersez le liquide dans le récipient. L'écran affiche le volume du liquide.
6.P our afficher le poids du liquide, appuyez sur MODE le nombre de fois nécessaire pour
que l'indicateur de mode poids s'affiche à l'écran.

Fonctions zéro et tare
Les fonctions Zéro et Tare servent à additionner les poids de plusieurs ingrédients.
Si le poids des ingrédients pesés est inférieur à 4% de la capacité de la balance
(c.à.d. inférieur à 0,2kg/0,4lb), utilisez la fonction Zéro. Si le poids dépasse 4% de la
capacité de la balance, utilisez la fonction Tare.
1.P lacez le premier ingrédient au centre de la zone de pesée de la balance.
L'appareil affiche le poids du premier ingrédient.
2.S ans enlever l'ingrédient, remettez l'affichage à 0 en appuyant sur ZÉRO.
Note : Selon le poids de l'ingrédient, l'écran affiche l'indicateur Zéro ( ) ou Tare ( ).
3.A vec le premier ingrédient toujours en place, ajoutez le deuxième ingrédient sur la balance.
L'écran affiche le poids de cet ingrédient.
4.A ppuyez sur ZÉRO pour afficher le poids total des deux ingrédients.
5.A ppuyez de nouveau sur ZÉRO pour remettre l'affichage à 0.
6.R épétez la procédure ci-dessus pour tous les autres ingrédients. Évitez de dépasser la
capacité de poids maximale de la balance (5 kg).
Fonction Moins
Lorsque vous mettez plusieurs ingrédients en même temps sur la balance pour obtenir
leur poids total, vous avez la possibilité d'isoler le poids d'un ingrédient particulier grâce à la
fonction Moins.
1.M ettez les ingrédients sur la balance.
L'écran affiche le poids total.
2.A ppuyez sur ZÉRO pour remettre l'affichage à 0.
3.E nlevez un ingrédient.
L'écran affiche maintenant le poids de l'ingrédient enlevé accompagné de l'indicateur
de la fonction Moins ( ).
4.A ppuyez sur ZÉRO pour afficher le poids des ingrédients restants.
5.R épétez les étapes ci-dessus si nécessaire.
Arrêt automatique
Lorsque l'écran affiche en continu 0 ou le poids d'un ingrédient, il s'éteint automatiquement
au bout d'environ 1 minute.
Messages d'avertissement
Lorsque l'écran affiche "Lo", la pile a besoin d'être changée.
En cas de surcharge, l'écran du pèse-personne affiche "Err". Retirez immédiatement ce qui
est sur la balance pour éviter de l’endommager.

NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN
Nettoyez l’appareil avec un chiffon légèrement imbibé d'eau. Ne mettez JAMAIS l’appareil
dans l'eau et n'utilisez en aucun cas des produits chimiques ou abrasifs pour le nettoyer.
Toutes les pièces en plastique doivent être lavées immédiatement après avoir été en contact
avec de la graisse, des épices, du vinaigre et des aliments riches en arômes ou en colorants.
Évitez tout contact avec des jus d'agrumes acides.
Stockage
Rangez la balance dans un endroit sec.
Vous pouvez soit la ranger sur une surface plane, soit l'accrocher au moyen du trou de
montage mural prévu à cet effet.

VERWIJDER OUDE BATTERIJEN UITSLUITEND VOLGENS DE INSTRUCTIES.
Denk bij het verwijderen van oude batterijen aan het milieu. Gooi deze niet in
de vuilnisemmer, doch breng ze terug naar winkels waar batterijen worden
verkocht om het milieu te beschermen.
Batterijen (ook deze in het apparaat) mogen niet worden blootgesteld
aan teveel warmte zoals van zonneschijn, vuur of dergelijke

De batterij vervangen
1.V erwijder het batterijdeksel op de onderzijde van de weegschaal.
2.Z et een nieuwe batterij in met de gedrukte zijde naar boven gericht.
3.B evestig het batterijdeksel.
De batterij die in dit product wordt gebruikt is een lithiumbatterij
van het type CR2032. Deze batterij bevindt zich binnenin het
apparaat en is gemakkelijk toegankelijk.
Verwijder het batterijdeksel om de batterij te verwijderen.
Oude batterijen moeten worden teruggebracht naar een
plaatselijk inzamelpunt.

BELANGRIJKE VEILIGHEIDSVOORZORGEN
Gebruik de weegschaal uitsluitend op een harde, vlakke ondergrond. NIET op een
vloerkleed gebruiken.
NIET op dit apparaat slaan en het niet schudden of laten vallen.
Houd de weegschaal droog.
Hanteren en gebruik van batterijen
Batterijen mogen uitsluitend door volwassenen worden gehanteerd. Sta niet toe dat
kinderen dit product gebruiken als het batterijdeksel niet stevig gemonteerd is.
Vervang de batterij uitsluitend door een batterij van hetzelfde type. De batterij die in
dit product wordt gebruikt is een lithiumbatterij van 3V type CR2032 (meegeleverd).

DE MAATEENHEDEN INSTELLEN
Qua maateenheden heeft u de keuze tussen het metrieke systeem (g, ml) en het Britse
systeem (lb:oz, fl’oz).
Druk op de MODUS-toets om de gewenste werkingsmodus in te stellen en druk dan op
de UNIT (EENHEID)-toets om een andere eenheid in te stellen.
BEDIENING
Gewichtsmodus
1.Zet de weegschaal neer op een vlakke, stabiele ondergrond.
2.Druk met de hand op de weegschaal en wacht tot 0 op de display is aangegeven
voor u met het wegen start.
Controleer of de weegschaal in de gewichtsmodus is geschakeld. Zo niet, druk
herhaaldelijk op de MODUS-toets tot de indicator van de gewichtsmodus ( )
op de display verschijnt.
3.Leg de te wegen ingrediënten op het weegvlak.
4.Het gewicht verschijnt dan op de display.
Volumemodus
1.Z et de weegschaal neer op een vlakke, stabiele ondergrond.
2.D ruk met de hand op de weegschaal, wacht tot 0 op de display is aangegeven en
druk dan herhaaldelijk op de MODUS-toets tot de indicator voor melk ( ) of water
( ) op de display verschijnt.
3.Z et een houder (niet meegeleverd) op de weegschaal.
4.D ruk op de NUL-toets om de display terug te stellen naar 0.
5.G iet vloeistof in het vat. Het vloeibare volume wordt dan op de display aangegeven.
6.O m het gewicht van de vloeistof te zien: druk herhaaldelijk op de MODUS-toets tot de
indicator van de gewichtsmodus op de display is aangeven.

Nul- & tarrafuncties
De nul- en tarrafuncties kunnen worden gebruikt om toe te voegen items te wegen.
De nulfunctie wordt gebruikt als het gewicht van de te wegen items minder is dan 4% van
het vermogen van de weegschaal (minder dan 0,2kg/0.4lb). Voor een gewicht hoger dan
4% van het vermogen van de weegschaal wordt de tarrafunctie gebruikt.
1.L eg het eerste item in het midden van het weegvlak van de weegschaal.
Het gewicht van het eerste item verschijnt op de display.
2.D ruk zonder het eerste item te verwijderen op ZERO om de display terug te stellen naar 0.
3.A fhankelijk van het gewicht van het item ziet u dan de nul-indicator ( ) of de tarra-indicator
( ) op de display.
4.L eg terwijl het eerste item nog steeds op de weegschaal ligt het volgende item op de
weegschaal.
Het gewicht van dat item verschijnt op de display.
5.D ruk op ZERO om het totale gewicht van beide items te zien.
6.D ruk nogmaals op ZERO om de display terug te stellen naar 0.
7.H erhaal de bovenstaande stappen tot alle items zijn toegevoegd en gewogen.
Let erop dat het maximumvermogen van de weegschaal niet wordt overschreden.
Minusfunctie
Als u in één keer meerdere items op de weegschaal legt om een totaalgewicht te krijgen,
kunt u aan de hand van de minusfunctie de waarde van een enkel item bepalen.
1.L eg alle items op de weegschaal.
Het totale gewicht wordt op de display aangegeven.
2.D ruk op ZERO om de display terug te stellen naar 0.
3.V erwijder een item.
Het gewicht van het verwijderde item verschijnt nu samen met de indicator van de
minusfunctie ( ) op de display.
4.D ruk op ZERO om het gewicht van de overige items te bepalen.
5.H erhaal zo nodig de bovenstaande stappen.
Automatisch uitschakelen
De weegschaal schakelt automatisch uit wanneer de display 1 minuut lang op 0 of op
eenzelfde gewicht blijft staan.
Foutmeldingen
Vervang de batterij wanneer “Lo” op de display verschijnt.
“Err” verschijnt op de display wanneer de maximumcapaciteit wordt overtroffen.
Verwijder een item om beschadiging te voorkomen.

REINIGEN EN ONDERHOUD
Reinig de weegschaal met een licht bevochtigde doek. Dompel de weegschaal NIET
onder in water en gebruik geen chemische/schurende reinigingsmiddelen.
Alle plastic onderdelen dienen onmiddellijk na contact met vetten, kruiden, azijn en sterk
smakende/gekleurde levensmiddelen te worden gereinigd. Voorkom contact met zuren
als citrusvruchten.
Bewaren
Bewaar de weegschaal in een droge plaats.
De weegschaal kan worden bewaard op een vlakke ondergrond of kan worden opgehangen
door middel van de uitsparing voor wandmontage.

VERWIJDEREN
Als een verantwoordelijke verkoper willen wij zorg dragen voor het milieu.
Daarom sporen wij u aan dit apparaat, de verpakkingsmaterialen en, waar
van toepassing, de batterijen op een correcte manier te verwijderen. Zo
helpt u bij het besparen van natuurlijke grondstoffen en bij het verzekeren
dat alles wordt gerecycled op een manier die de gezondheid en het milieu
beschermt.
U dient dit apparaat en de verpakking te verwijderen in overeenstemming met de
plaatselijke wetten en reglementering.

Sustitución de la batería
1.E xtraiga la cubierta de la batería en la parte inferior de la báscula.
2.I ntroduzca una batería nueva con la cara impresa hacia arriba.
3.E nsamble la cubierta de la batería.
El tipo de batería utilizada por el producto es una batería
de litio CR2032. Esta batería está localizada en el interior
y es fácilmente accesible.
Extraiga la cubierta de la batería para extraer la batería.
Esta batería debe ser desechada en su punto de reciclaje local.

INSTRUCCIONES SOBRE SEGURIDAD IMPORTANTES
Utilice siempre la báscula sobre una superficie dura, lisa. NO la utilice sobre
una alfombra.
NO golpee, agite ni deje caer la báscula.
Mantenga la báscula seca.
Manipulación y utilización de la batería
Solo los adultos deben manipular la batería. No permita que los niños utilicen el
producto salvo que la cubierta de la batería esté instalada.
Sustituya la batería exclusivamente por otra del mismo tipo. La batería utilizada
por el producto es una batería de litio de 3V CR2032 (incluidas).

CONFIGURACIÓN DE LAS UNIDADES DE MEDIDA
Puede seleccionar la unidad de medida entre el sistema métrico (g, ml) o
imperial (lb:oz, fl’oz).
Pulse el botón MODO para seleccionar el modo de trabajo deseado y pulse entonces el botón
UNIT (UNIDAD) para cambiar alternativamente entre los dos sistemas.
FUNCIONAMIENTO
Modo de Pesaje
1.C oloque la báscula sobre una superficie lisa, estable.
2.P resione la báscula manualmente y espere hasta que el visualizador muestre 0 antes
de comenzar el pesaje.
Asegúrese de que la báscula esté en modo pesaje. De lo contrario, pulse
reiteradamente el botón MODO hasta que el indicador de modo de pesaje ( )
aparezca en el visualizador.
3.C oloque los ingredientes que va a pesar sobre la superficie de la báscula.
4.E l visualizador mostrará la lectura del pesaje.
Modo Volumen
1.C oloque la báscula sobre una superficie lisa, estable.
2.P resione la báscula manualmente y espere hasta que el visualizador muestre 0, y
entonces pulse reiteradamente el botón MODO hasta que el indicador de modo leche
( ) o agua ( ) aparezca en el visualizador.
3.C oloque un recipiente (no suministrado) sobre la báscula.
4.P ulse el botón CERO para ajustar el visualizador a 0.
5.V ierta líquido en el recipiente. El visualizador mostrará el volumen del líquido.
6.P ara ver el peso del líquido, pulse reiteradamente el botón MODO hasta que el
indicador de modo de pesaje aparezca en el visualizador.

Función Cero y Tara
Para medir ingredientes según se van añadiendo, utilice las Funciones Cero y Tara.
Si el peso de los ingredientes que están siendo medidos es inferior al 4% de la capacidad
de la báscula (inferior a 0,2kg/0,4lb), se utiliza la función Cero.
Si el peso del ingrediente supera el 4% de la capacidad de la báscula, se utiliza la
función Tara.
1.C oloque el primer ingrediente en el centro del área de pesaje de la báscula.
El visualizador mostrará la lectura del pesaje del primer ingrediente.
2.S in retirar el ingrediente, pulse CERO para ajustar el visualizador a 0.
3.D ependiendo del peso del ingrediente, verá el indicador Cero ( ) o el indicador
Tara ( ) en el visualizador.
4.C on el primer ingrediente aun en su sitio, añada el siguiente ingrediente en la superficie
de la báscula.
El visualizador mostrará el peso de ese ingrediente.
5.P ulse CERO para ver el peso total de los dos ingredientes.
6.P ulse CERO de nuevo para ajustar el visualizador a 0.
7.R epita los pasos anteriores hasta que todos los ingredientes hayan sido añadidos.
No exceda la capacidad máxima de pesaje de la báscula.

LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO
Limpie la báscula con un paño ligeramente húmedo. NO sumerja la báscula en agua ni
utilice detergentes químicos / abrasivos.
Todos los componentes de plástico deben ser limpiados inmediatamente tras haber estado
en contacto con grasas, especias, vinagre y alimentos intensos en aromatizantes o colorantes.
Evite el contacto con jugos cítricos ácidos.
Almacenamiento
Guarde la báscula en un lugar seco.
La báscula puede ser guardada sobre una superficie nivelada o puede ser colgada utilizando
el orificio para montaje en la pared.
Función Menos
Si añade múltiples ingredientes en la báscula a la vez para obtener el peso total,
puede identificar el valor de un ingrediente específico mediante la función menos.
1.C oloque los ingredientes en la báscula.
El visualizador mostrará el peso total.
2.P ulse CERO para ajustar el visualizador a 0.
3.R etire un ingrediente.
El visualizador mostrará el peso del ingrediente retirado con el indicador de la
función menos ( ).
4.P ulse CERO para ver el peso de los ingredientes restantes.
5.R epita los pasos anteriores en caso necesario.
Apagado Automático
La báscula se apagará automáticamente cuando el visualizador muestre 0 o la lectura
del pesaje durante alrededor de 1 minuto.
Mensajes de advertencia
Cuando el visualizador muestre “Lo”, sustituya la batería.
Cuando la báscula esté sobrecargada, el visualizador mostrará “Err”.
Retire los ingredientes para evitar daños.
