1 Frequently Ask Question (FAQ)
The FAQ is use to address some special setting that’s is required that may or may not be covered in the
user manual.
(Q1) Where should I place my Sonority II wireless Smart Speaker for
better connection?
For best performance, follow these recommendations when placing the speaker:
• Do NOT place the speaker on top of audio/video equipment (receivers, TVs, etc.), or any other
object that may generate heat. Heat generated by these items may result in poor speaker performance.
• Do NOT place any objects on top of the speaker or in front of the speaker.
• To avoid interference, keep other wireless equipment 1 – 3 ft. (0.3 – 0.9 m) away from the speaker.
Place the speaker outside and away from metal cabinets and direct heat sources.
• Place the speaker on its rubber base on a stable and level surface.
• Make sure there is an AC (mains) outlet nearby.
(Q2) How Can I Connect with Sonority II Wireless Smart Speaker by using
Bluetooth?
Bluetooth connection can be available to use once you turn on the smart speaker or after user complete
the Setup. Step below will shows how the connection between client device and smart speaker by using
Bluetooth.
1. Turn on the Smart Speaker and click Mode button . The Smart Speaker will notify it’s on
Bluetooth Mode and the Blue LED will circle the LED Ring.
2. On Client Device, turn on Bluetooth and connect with the Smart Speaker
“PROLINK_PSB8602E_(last 4 MAC Address)”.Once the connection is complete, the Smart
Speaker will notify “Bluetooth Connected” and the LED ring will change to Solid Blue.

(Q3) How Can I Connect with Sonority II Wireless Smart Speaker by using
AUX Cable?
AUX cable connection can be available to use once you turn on the smart speaker or after user
complete the Setup. Step below will shows how the connection between client device and smart
speaker by using AUX cable.
1. Turn on the Smart Speaker and connect the AUX cable from client device to Smart Speaker
AUX port.
2. Once the connection is complete, the Smart Speaker will notify “Auxiliary Mode” and the LED
ring will change to Solid Green.
3. On Client Device open Music App (e.g. Spotify, YouTube, Music Player) to play the Music.
(Q4) I already setup my Sonority II Wireless Smart Speaker and the LED
ring turn orange color, what should I do?
Try this step below to troubleshoot the connection between the Smart Speaker and Wi-Fi connection:-
1. If you activate the Alexa and the LED ring color is orange with notify “Sorry, your speaker has
lost internet connection”, wait for about 1 minutes, and retry to activate the Alexa again. if the
problem still persist, please proceed with step 2
2. Please ensure the 2.4GHz WiFi internet connection is okay; you may do so by doing speed test.
It requires at least 2Mbps internet speed to run smoothly
3. If the Alexa is still unable to activate, try to reboot the speaker
(Q5) How can I use the Alexa?
-Alexa allows you to ask questions and make requests using just your voice. For instance,
you can ask Alexa a question, such as "Alexa, What is the weather today?” or tell Alexa to
do something, like "Add batteries to my shopping list," or "Add a reminder for me”
-You can access Alexa by saying the wake word (Alexa) or you access Alexa by pressing a
“Talk to Alexa” button

(Q6) If I talk, is Alexa recording all my conversations?
-No. By default, PROLiNK Smart Speaker devices are designed to detect only your chosen
wake word “Alexa” or by push Button. The device detects the wake word by identifying
acoustic patterns that match the wake word. No audio is stored or sent to the cloud unless
the device detects the wake word (or Alexa is activated by pressing a button).
(Q7) Can I review and delete my voice recordings?
-Yes. You can review voice recordings associated with your account and delete those voice
recordings one by one or all at once by visiting site (https://alexa.amazon.com). Under
Settings > Alexa Privacy > Review Voice History.
-You can also enable the ability to delete your recordings by voice. Once enabled, you can
delete the voice recording of your last request by saying “Alexa, delete what I just said” or
you can delete all the voice recordings from your account for the day by saying "Alexa,
delete everything I said today." To enable deletion by voice go to Settings > Alexa Privacy >
Review Voice History. When enabled, anyone with access to your Alexa-enabled devices
can ask Alexa to delete voice recordings from your account.
-Please note that by deleting voice recordings may degrade your Alexa experience as Alexa
is learning every information and the way of user voice and command.
(Q8) Can I turn off the microphones or mute the Sonority II Wireless
Smart Speaker and how I can turn on it back?
To Turn Off microphone on Smart Speaker follow the step below:-
1. On top Of PROLiNK Smart Speaker, Push “Mute Mic” Button for about 2 second
2. The Smart Speaker Mic will mute, the LED indicator will turn on RED.
3. To unmute Mic, push the “Mute Mic” Button again for about 2 second.
4. The Smart Speaker will unmute and the LED Indicator will turn off.

(Q9) Can Alexa set an event or reminder on my google calendar?
Yes, first you need to link the google account in the Alexa WEB to enable the features. Below is the
step how to link your google account with Alexa Amazon:-
1. Open WEB browser, visiting site (https://alexa.amazon.com) and login Alexa account you
create earlier.
2. Navigate to Setting > Calendar

3. Choose the Google Account to link the google calendar
4. After link the account, you can ask Alexa to create an event or reminder on calendar by asking
“Alexa, can you create an event on my calendar?”
(Q10) How can I set up my device location for Accurate Weather info or
How do I localize my speaker?
The Alexa can tell us the information about current weather depends on the Smart Speaker Location. To
enable the location follow the step below:-
1. Open WEB browser, visiting site (https://alexa.amazon.com) and login Alexa account you created.

2. Navigate to Setting > Device Name
3. Under General Setting, Edit Device Location
4. After set the location, you can ask Alexa to know the Weather Information by asking “Alexa,
what is the weather today?”
(Q11) Can Alexa set a reminder and Alarm for me?
Yes, Alexa is able to set a reminder and alarm by voice command. To create a reminder or alarm follow
the step below:-
1. To activate, call “Alexa, set me a reminder today?” or “Alexa, Set me an alarm for tomorrow?”
2. Follow the instruction given by Alexa.
3. To cancel just speak “Cancel”

4. After finish you can check the reminder you create on Alexa WEB. Login on visiting site
(https://alexa.amazon.com) and login Alexa account.
5. Navigate to Reminders & Alarms
6. You can delete or modified the reminder or alarm you create earlier by using a voice command.
(Q12) Can Alexa Sonority II Wireless Smart Speaker make a phone call or
message?
-Yes, but currently it’s not supported on Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia etc.
-To check it’s either your country is supported, Login on visiting site
(https://alexa.amazon.com) and login Alexa account.
-Navigate to Contact on Alexa WEB and Add a New Contact.

(Q13) What is Alexa Skill and how it works?
Alexa provides a set of built-in capabilities, referred to as skills. For example, Alexa's abilities include
playing music from multiple providers, answering questions, providing weather forecasts, and querying
Wikipedia.
The Alexa Skills Kit lets you teach Alexa new skills. Customers can access these new abilities by
asking Alexa questions or making requests. You can build skills that provide users with many different
types of abilities. For example, a skill might do any one of the following:
-Look up answers to specific questions ("Alexa, ask Muslim Prayer Time, what is the next
prayer time?")
-Challenge the user with puzzles or games ("Alexa, play Harry Potter quiz.")
-Control lights and other devices in the home ("Alexa, turn on the living room lights.")
-Provide audio or text content for a customer's flash briefing ("Alexa, give me my flash
briefing")
To activate Alexa Skill follow the step below:-
1. Open WEB browser, visiting site (https://alexa.amazon.com) and login Alexa account you
create earlier
2. Navigate to skill and Search skill to be enable.

(Q14) How can I connect my other smart devices with Alexa?
To connect others smart device with Sonority II Wireless Smart Speaker by using Alexa, you need to
enable the skill features to integrate with Smart device App in the Alexa WEB. Please note, some of the
smart device is not compatible with Alexa, please check on smart device product compatibility. Step
below is a step example how to integrate with a PROLiNK Smart Plug:-
1. Register and finish all the configuration for the Smart Plug by using PROLiNK mEzee App.
2. On the mEzee App, under Smart Plug properties, there is information about Third-Party App
that can integrate with mEzee App. Please note, different device has different app compatibility.

3. On Alexa, Open WEB browser, visiting site (https://alexa.amazon.com) and login Alexa
account.
4. Navigate to skill and Search skill “Smart Life” to be enable. “Smart Life” skill is compatible
with mEzee app.
5. Enter your mEzee App Account and password, then tap “Link Now” to link your mEzee
account to enable the skill.
6. The Alexa WEB will auto discover the smart device you just link to Alexa Account.

(Q15) Can my smart device can be put in one group and controlled by
Alexa?
Yes, to create a group of smart device link to the Alexa account. Follow the step below to create a
group and add the smart device:-
1. Open WEB browser, visiting site (https://alexa.amazon.com) and login Alexa account.
2. Navigate to Smart Home > Groups, to create a group of smart device linked to the Alexa.
3. Click “Create Group” to Create
4. On group setting, you can rename group, choose which smart device that are linked with Alexa
and a “Smart Life” scene create on mEzee app to be included in group.

5. Click “Save” to finish the setup.
(Q16) How to set multiple synchronous playback on Sonority II Wireless
Smart speaker?
Yes, if you have two unit Sonority II Wireless Smart Speaker, it can synchronize each other by using
PROLinK mAudio App. Step below will show how to synchronize multiple smart speaker by using
mAudio App:-
1. First, Setup the first smart speaker by using the mAudio.
2. Then, on top right corner, tap “+” icon to add another Sonority II Wireless Smart Speaker.

3. After finish setup the second smart speaker, on mAudio App drag the second smart speaker to
the main Smart Speaker and wait for the speaker synchronize
(Q17) Can I Set/Save Radio Station from TuneIN?
Yes, you can save the favorite radio station or podcast from TuneIn by following the Step Below:-
1. Open mAudio App, On the Top left hand corner, click on the three stripes Menu.
2. tap on TuneIn > search for the preferred Radio Stations

3. tap on the 'Hi-Fi' icon on the right hand side of the Radio Name
4. Assign to any of available PRESET Number or to any Number that is to be Replaced
5. To check the preset content navigate to Smart Speaker Setting > Preset Content

(Q18) How to setup my time zone and device location?
For Time Zone Setting – this is available in the Amazon Alexa Web instead. Please note that Contacts, Call, Uber,
Purchase are currently not available for Asia Region. The step below show how to set time zone and device
locations.
How to set:
1. Login to http://alexa.amazon.com
2. On the left hand panel, Click Settings and Click on the ‘PROLINK_PSB8602E’ device

3. Set the Time zone accordingly under General and for device location set it under Edit “Device Location”
(Q19) How do I create a United States Alexa Account?
This is to be done during the account registration at the point of setting up the SONORITY II speaker.
Currently, this is required in order to do Alexa Voice control over your Spotify. After that, you may
localize the speaker in order to get local information such as weather condition in the area.
1. During Setup Alexa Account on mAudio App, click “Get Started”
