Using the alarm clock
Presetting the alarm time
– Turn the knob (G) until the hand points to the
desired time.
Turning the alarm on and off
– To activate the alarm, turn the switch (E) until the
indicator is aligned on I.
– When the alarm is activated, the indicator on the
dial (D) shows a white circle.
– To deactivate the alarm, turn the switch (E) until the
indicator is aligned on H.
– When the alarm is off, the indicator (D) shows a
circle of the same colour as the dial background.
Snooze function
– When the alarm rings, press the Snooze/Light key (F)
to interrupt the alarm for 5 minutes.
– After 5 minutes, the alarm begins to ring again.
– The snooze function continues to work for around
40 minutes after which the alarm clock is finally
turned off.
Switching the dial light on
– Press the Snooze/Light key (F) to activate the dial
light.
– When the key is released, the light stays on for 2
seconds before going out.
Setting the time
– Remove the cover by pressing the key (H) which you
will find in the lower part of the alarm clock back.
– Set the time by turning the appropriate knob (I).
– Close the cover again.
Batteries
Battery type
– 3 IEC LR44 batteries
Life
– The alarm clock battery has a service life of about
1 year.
– The light batteries last for 1 year on average.
Replacing the batteries
– Remove the back cover by pressing the key (H) which
you will find in the lower part of the alarm clock
back.
– Open the battery compartments (J and K) using a
coin or a screwdriver, replace the spent batteries by
new ones and close again.
Note:
The alarm and light batteries work independently;
so if, for instance, the alarm battery needs to be
changed, the light batteries will not necessarily have
to be changed too.
