Advertencias de seguridad

Electricidad y calor
• Asegúrese de utilizar siempre un enchufe de pared CON tierra para
conectar el aparato.
• Retire el enchufe de la toma de corriente tirando del enchufe, no del
cable de alimentación.
• Retire siempre el enchufe de la toma de corriente antes de mover el
aparato y cuando el aparato no esté en uso.
• Compruebe el cable de alimentación del aparato con regularidad para
asegurarse de que no esté dañado. No utilice el aparato si el cable de
alimentación está dañado. Reemplace el cable de alimentación dañado
por un servicio de reparación calificado.
• Antes de su uso, compruebe que la tensión de red es la misma que se
indica en la placa de clasificación del aparato.

• Ciertas partes del aparato pueden calentarse. No toque estas partes
para evitar que se queme.
• El aparato necesita espacio para permitir que el calor se disipe, evitando
así el riesgo de incendio. Asegúrese de que el aparato tenga suficiente
espacio a su alrededor y no entre en contacto con material inamable. El
aparato no debe estar cubierto.
• Asegúrese de que el aparato, el cable de alimentación o el enchufe no

Durante su uso

• No recoja el aparato si cae al agua. Retire el enchufe de la toma de
corriente inmediatamente y no utilice más el aparato.
• No utilice nunca el aparato al aire libre.
• Coloque el aparato sobre una superficie plana y estable.

• Utilice únicamente la base suministrada con la jarra. Nunca utilice la
base para otros fines.
 Deje que el aparato se enfríe a temperatura ambiente antes de
almacenar
 Este aparato no se puede utilizar a través de un temporizador externo
o mediante un mando a distancia.
 Llene la jarra con al menos 0,5 litros de agua.
• Retire la jarra de la base y llénela con agua del grifo. Nunca llene la jarra
por encima del nivel 'max'.
• Nunca abra la tapa cuando el agua aún esté hirviendo.
• No encienda el aparato antes de llenarlo con agua. Llene sólo con agua
fría.
• Utilice el aparato únicamente para hervir o calentar el agua. ¡Nunca
lo use para otros líquidos!
• La tapa de la jarra debe permanecer bien cerrada mientras el aparato
está en uso.

El aparato está destinado únicamente para uso doméstico, no para uso
profesional.

Antes de usar por primera vez
Antes del primer uso, retire los posibles residuos del proceso de
fabricación hirviendo 3 hervidores llenos de agua. Deseche esta agua.
Consejo: Puede utilizar vinagre o agentes descalcificantes especiales por
primera vez.
Uso
1. Gire la jarra para que el pico se aleje de usted.
2. Pulse el botón para abrir la tapa (3).
3. Llene la jarra con la cantidad de agua requerida (al menos 0,5 litrosy un
máximo de 1,7 litros). Nunca llene la caldera de agua sobre el "max". De lo
contrario, el agua caliente puede salpicar fuera de la base.

Atención
Asegúrese de no derramar agua sobre la base.
7. Retire la jarra de la base por el mango y vierta el agua.
Tenga cuidado y no se ponga en contacto con el agua caliente. Puede
causar heridas graves en la piel.
9. Retire el enchufe de la toma de corriente cuando haya terminado de
usar la jarra.
4. Suelte el botón para abrir la tapa.
5. Coloque la jarra en la base e inserte el enchufe en la toma de corriente.
Empuje hacia abajo el interruptor de encendido/apagado. La luz piloto de
encendido/apagado se iluminará.
6. La jarra de agua ahora está encendida, y el agua comenzará a
calentarse. La jarra se apaga automáticamente unos segundos después
de que el agua haya llegado a ebullición. La luz piloto de
encendido/apagado se apagará.
8. Cuando desee calentar el agua sin que llegue a ebullición, puede
apagar la jarra en cualquier momento que necesite.

Atención
• Antes de limpiar, asegúrese de que el aparato no esté conectado a la
fuente de alimentación y de que se haya enfriado.
• Nunca utilice agentes limpiadores corrosivos u objetos afilados (como
cuchillos o cepillos duros) para limpiar el aparato.

Advertencia en caso de sobrecalentamiento
La jarra está equipada con una protección contra el sobrecalentamiento.
Esto apagará la jarra si funciona sin agua (suficiente). Deje que la jarra se
enfríe durante al menos 10 minutos antes de volver a usarla.
Limpieza y mantenimiento
• Retire el enchufe de la toma de corriente y deje que el aparato se enfríe.
• Limpie la jarra con un paño húmedo. Nunca sumerja el aparato en agua.
Nunca coloque el aparato en un lavavajillas. Asegúrese de que las
conexiones eléctricas no se humedezcan.
• Si el interior de la jarra se ha manchado, use un paño húmedo y un poco
de limpiador o detergente. Después de la limpieza, enjuague muy bien la
jarra.
Descalcificación
2. La jarra está equipada con un filtro de descalcificación. Este filtro debe
retirarse para su limpieza.
4. Deje reposar la jarra con la solución de vinagre durante un par de
horas.minoristas.
1. Retire el enchufe de la toma de corriente y deje que el aparato se enfríe.
3. Llene la jarra con una solución de vinagre (1 parte de agua y una parte
de vinagre blanco) al nivel MAX, y lleve a ebullición.

5. Vacíe la jarra, llene con agua limpia al nivel MAX y lleve a ebullición.
Vacíe la jarra. Repita este proceso dos veces.
• Nunca utilice amoníaco u otros productos para descalcificar el aparato.
Estos pueden ser perjudiciales para su salud. Utilice únicamente vinagre
blanco, o agentes especiales de descalcificación disponibles en los
minoristas.
Esta marca indica que este producto no se debe eliminar con otros desechos
domésticos en toda la Unión Europea. Para evitar el posible daño al medio
ambiente o a la salud humana por la eliminación incontrolada de desechos,
recíclelo de manera responsable para promover la reutilización sostenible de

Warning
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience
and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• Please read these instructions carefully and retain them for reference.
• Use this appliance solely in accordance with these instructions.
• Have any repairs carried out solely by a qualified electrician. Never try to
repair the appliance yourself.
Electricity and heat
• Make sure that the appliance, the power cord and plug do not make
contact with water.
• Remove the plug from the wall socket by pulling the plug, not the power
cord.
• Check the appliance’s power cord regularly to make sure it is not
damaged. Do not use the appliance if the power cord is damaged. Have a
damaged power cord replaced by a qualified repair service.
• Certain parts of the appliance may get hot. Do not touch these parts to
prevent burning yourself.
• The appliance needs space to allow heat to escape, thereby preventing
the risk of fire. Make sure that the appliance has sufficient space around it,
and does not come in contact with ammable material. The appliance
must not be covered.
• Make sure that the appliance, the power cord or the plug do not make
contact with hot services, such as a hot hob or naked ame.
• Make sure that you always use an earthed wall socket to connect the
appliance.
• Always remove the plug from the mains socket before moving the
appliance and when the appliance is not in use.
• Before use please verify that the mains voltage is the same as indicated
on the rating plate of the appliance.

• Use the appliance only to boil or heat water. Never use it for other liquids!
• Allow the appliance to cool to room temperature before storage
• Do not switch on the appliance before you have filled it with water. Fill only
with cold water.
• Never open the lid when the water is still boiling.
• Use solely the base supplied with the jug kettle. Never use the base for other
purposes.
• Never use the appliance outdoors.
• Fill the jug kettle with at least 0.5 litre of water.
• Place the appliance on a at, stable surface.
• Never allow the power cord to hang over the edge of the draining board,
worktop or table.
• Never immerse the appliance, the plug or the power cord in water or other
liquid.
• Do not pick up the appliance if it falls into water. Remove the plug from the
wall socket immediately and do not use the appliance any more.
• The jug’s lid must remain securely closed whilst the appliance is in use.
• Remove the jug from the base, and fill with water from the tap. Never fill the
jug above the ‘max’ level.
• Always remove the plug from the wall socket after use, and before cleaning
the appliance.
• Never use the appliance in a humid room.
• Make sure that your hands are dry before touching the appliance, power
cord or plug.
• This appliance may not be used through an external timer or by means of a
remote control.

Before first use, remove possible manufacturing process residues by boiling 3
full kettles of water. Dispose this water.
Tip: You can use vinegar or special descaling agents for the first time.
Before use for the first time
2. Press the button to open the lid (3).
3. Fill the jug with the required quantity of water (at least 0.5 litres, and a
maximum of 1,7 litres). Never fill the water boiler over the “max”. Otherwise
the hot water can spatter out of the base.
1. Turn the jug so that the spout faces away from you.
ATTENTION
4. Release the button to open the lid.
5. Place the jug on the base, and insert the plug in the wall socket. Push down
the on/off switch. The on/off pilot light will illuminate.
6. The jug kettle is now switched on, and the water will now begin to heat. The
jug kettle switches off automatically a few seconds after the water has come
to the boil. The on/off pilot light will now extinguish.
Make sure that you do not spill any water on the base.
7. Remove the jug from the base by the handle, and pour the water out.

9. Remove the plug from the wall socket when you have finished using the jug
kettle.
8. When you wish to heat the water without it coming to the boil you can
switch off the jug kettle at any time you require.
Be carefully you do not contact the hot water. It can cause serious burning
wounds
Overheating safeguard
The jug kettle is fitted with an overheating safeguard. This will switch off the jug
kettle if it is operated without (sufficient) water. Allow the jug kettle to cool
down for at least 10 minutes before using it again.
Cleaning and maintenance
• Remove the plug from the wall socket, and allow the appliance to cool.
Never put the appliance in a dishwasher. Make sure that the electrical
connections do not become damp.
• Clean the jug with a damp cloth. Never immerse the appliance in water.
• If the interior of the jug has become severely discoloured, then the best way
to clean it is with a damp cloth and a little washing soda. After cleaning, rinse
the jug very thoroughly.
ATTENTION
• Before cleaning, make sure that the appliance is not connected to the power
supply and that it has cooled down.
• Never use corrosive or scouring cleaning agents or sharp objects (such as
knives or hard brushes) to clean the appliance.
Descaling
This appliance is equipped with an integral heating element, and consequently
limescale will not be formed. Consequently you do not need to descaled the
appliance.
However, if you nevertheless do wish to descale the appliance:
1. Remove the plug from the wall socket, and allow the appliance to cool.

5. Empty the jug, fill with clean water to the MAX level, and bring to the boil.
Empty the jug. Repeat this process twice.
• Never use ammonia or other products to descale the appliance. These can
be injurious to your health. Use solely a vinegar solution, or special descaling
agents available from retailers.
4. Leave the jug with the vinegar solution to stand for a couple of hours.
