General
Ÿ Utilice este aparato únicamente de acuerdo con estas instrucciones.
Ÿ Este aparato no está destinado a ser utilizado por personas (incluidos niños)
con capacidades sensoriales o mentales reducidas, o falta de experiencia y
conocimientos, a menos que hayan recibido supervisión o instrucción sobre
el uso del aparato por parte de una persona responsable de su seguridad.
Ÿ Los niños deben ser supervisados para asegurarse de que no jueguen con el
aparato.
Ÿ Realizar cualquier reparación únicamente por un electricista cualificado.

1. Electricidad y calor
Ÿ Antes de su uso, compruebe que la tensión de red es la misma que se indica
en la placa de clasificación del aparato.
Ÿ Ciertas partes del aparato pueden calentarse. No toque estas partes para

Ÿ El aparato necesita espacio para permitir que el calor se disipe, evitando así
el riesgo de incendio. Asegúrese de que el aparato tenga suficiente espacio a

2. Durante el uso
Ÿ Retire siempre el enchufe de la toma de corriente después de su uso y antes
de limpiar el aparato.
Ÿ Nunca abra la tapa cuando el agua aún esté hirviendo.
Ÿ Nunca utilice el aparato en una habitación húmeda.
Ÿ No encienda el aparato antes de llenarlo con agua. Llene sólo con agua fría.
Ÿ Nunca permita que el cable de alimentación cuelgue sobre el borde de la
mesa o la encimera.
Ÿ Llene la jarra con al menos 0,5 litros de agua.
Ÿ Coloque el aparato sobre una superficie plana y estable.
Ÿ No utilice nunca el aparato al aire libre.
Ÿ Retire la jarra de la base y llénela con agua del grifo. Nunca llene la jarra por
encima del nivel 'max'.
Ÿ La tapa de la jarra debe permanecer bien cerrada mientras el aparato está
en uso.
Ÿ Nunca sumerja el aparato, el enchufe o el cable de alimentación en agua u
otro líquido.
Ÿ No recoja el aparato si cae al agua. Retire el enchufe de la toma de corriente
inmediatamente y no utilice más el aparato.
Ÿ Este aparato no se puede utilizar a través de un temporizador externo o
mediante un mando a distancia.
Ÿ Deje que el aparato se enfríe a temperatura ambiente antes de almacenar
Ÿ Utilice únicamente la base suministrada con la jarra. Nunca utilice la base
para otros fines.
Ÿ Asegúrese de que sus manos estén secas antes de tocar el aparato, el cable
de alimentación o el enchufe.

Consejo: Puede utilizar vinagre o agentes descalcificantes especiales por primera
vez.
Antes del primer uso, retire los posibles residuos del proceso de fabricación
hirviendo 3 jarras llenas de agua. Deseche esta agua.
4. Antes de usar por primera vez
Atención
6. La jarra de agua ahora está encendida, y el agua comenzará a calentarse. La
jarra se apaga automáticamente unos segundos después de que el agua haya
llegado a ebullición. La luz piloto de encendido/apagado se apagará.
9. Retire el enchufe de la toma de corriente cuando haya terminado de utilizar la
jarra.
3. Llene la jarra con la cantidad de agua requerida (al menos 0,7litros y un máximo
de 1,7 litros). Nunca llene la caldera de agua sobre el "max". De lo contrario, el
agua caliente puede salpicar fuera de la base.
4. Suelte el botón para abrir la tapa.
5. Coloque la jarra en la base e inserte el enchufe en la toma de corriente. Empuje
hacia abajo el interruptor de encendido/apagado. La luz piloto de
encendido/apagado se iluminará.
1. Gire la jarra para que el pico vertedor se aleje de usted.
2. Pulse el botón para abrir la tapa (4).
Asegúrese de no derramar agua sobre la base.

7. Retire la jarra de la base por el mango y vierta el agua.
Tenga cuidado y no se ponga en contacto con el agua caliente. Puede causar
heridas graves en la piel.
8. Cuando desee calentar el agua sin que llegue a ebullición, puede apagar la jarra
en cualquier momento que necesite.
5. Uso
La jarra está equipada con una protección contra el sobrecalentamiento. Esto
apagará la jarra si funciona sin agua (suficiente). Deje que la jarra se enfríe
durante al menos 10 minutos antes de volver a usarla.

Si el interior de la jarra se ha manchado, use un paño húmedo y un poco de
limpiador o detergente. Después de la limpieza, enjuague muy bien la jarra.
Limpie la jarra con un paño húmedo. Nunca sumerja el aparato en agua. Nunca
coloque el aparato en un lavavajillas. Asegúrese de que las conexiones eléctricas
no se humedezcan.
Atención
Nunca utilice agentes limpiadores corrosivos o estropajos u objetos afilados (como
cuchillos o cepillos duros) para limpiar el aparato.
Antes de limpiar, asegúrese de que el aparato no esté conectado a la fuente de
alimentación y de que se haya enfriado.
Retire el enchufe de la toma de corriente y deje que el aparato se enfríe.

8. Descalcificación

ŸUse this appliance solely in accordance with these instructions.

ŸThis appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
ŸChildren should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance.
ŸHave any repairs carried out solely by a qualified electrician. Never try to
repair the appliance yourself.
1. Electricity and heat
ŸCheck the appliance's power cord regularly to make sure it is not damaged.
Do not use the appliance if the power cord is damaged. Have a damaged
power cord replaced by a qualified repair service.
ŸThe appliance needs space to allow heat to escape, thereby preventing the
risk of fire. Make sure that the appliance has sufficient space around it, and
does not come in contact with ammable material. The appliance must not be
covered.
ŸAlways remove the plug from the mains socket before moving the appliance
and when the appliance is not in use.
ŸRemove the plug from the wall socket by pulling the plug, not the power cord.
ŸMake sure that the appliance, the power cord or the plug do not make contact
with hot services, such as a hot hob or naked ame.
ŸMake sure that you always use an earthed wall socket to connect the
appliance.
ŸBefore use please verify that the mains voltage is the same as indicated on the
rating plate of the appliance.

2. During use
ŸRemove the jug from the base, and fill with water from the tap. Never fill the
jug above the 'max' level.
ŸDo not switch on the appliance before you have filled it with water. Fill only
with cold water.
ŸNever use the appliance outdoors.
Ÿ Place the appliance on a at, stable surface.
ŸThe jug's lid must remain securely closed whilst the appliance is in use.
ŸAllow the appliance to cool to room temperature before storage
ŸUse the appliance only to boil or heat water. Never use it for other liquids!
ŸFill the jug kettle with at least 0.5 litre of water.
ŸThis appliance may not be used through an external timer or by means of a
remote control.
ŸNever open the lid when the water is still boiling.
ŸNever immerse the appliance, the plug or the power cord in water or other
liquid.
ŸDo not pick up the appliance if it falls into water. Remove the plug from the wall
socket immediately and do not use the appliance any more.
ŸUse solely the base supplied with the jug kettle. Never use the base for other
purposes.
ŸNever allow the power cord to hang over the edge of the draining board,
worktop or table.
ŸNever use the appliance in a humid room.
ŸMake sure that your hands are dry before touching the appliance, power cord
or plug.

the appliance.

Tip: You can use vinegar or special descaling agents for the first time.
Before first use, remove possible manufacturing process residues by boiling 3 full
kettles of water. Dispose this water.
4. Before use for the first time
9. Remove the plug from the wall socket when you have finished using the jug kettle.
Be carefully you do not contact the hot water. It can cause serious burning wounds
Make sure that you do not spill any water on the base.
4. Release the button to open the lid.
1. Turn the jug so that the spout faces away from you.
3. Fill the jug with the required quantity of water (at least 0.7litres, and a maximum
of 1,7 litres). Never fill the water boiler over the "max". Otherwise the hot water can
spatter out of the base
6. The jug kettle is now switched on, and the water will now begin to heat. The jug
kettle switches off automatically a few seconds after the water has come to the
boil. The on/off pilot light will now extinguish.
7. Remove the jug from the base by the handle, and pour the water out.

on/off switch. The on/off pilot light will illuminate.
8. When you wish to heat the water without it coming to the boil you can switch off
the jug kettle at any time you require.

The jug kettle is fitted with an overheating safeguard. This will switch off the jug
kettle if it is operated without (sufficient) water. Allow the jug kettle to cool down
for at least 10 minutes before using it again.

If the interior of the jug has become severely discoloured, then the best way to clean
it is with a damp cloth and a little washing soda. After cleaning, rinse the jug very
thoroughly.
Remove the plug from the wall socket, and allow the appliance to cool.
Clean the jug with a damp cloth. Never immerse the appliance in water. Never put
the appliance in a dishwasher. Make sure that the electrical connections do not
become damp.
Before cleaning, make sure that the appliance is not connected to the power supply
and that it has cooled down.
Never use corrosive or scouring cleaning agents or sharp objects (such as knives or
hard brushes) to clean the appliance.

7. Cleaning and maintenance
However, if you nevertheless do wish to descale the appliance:
1. Remove the plug from the wall socket, and allow the appliance to cool.
3. Fill the jug with a vinegar solution to the MAX level, and bring to the boil.
2. The jug kettle is fitted with a descaling filter. This filter must be removed for
cleaning.
4. Leave the jug with the vinegar solution to stand for a couple of hours.
This appliance is equipped with an integral heating element, and consequently
limescale will not be formed. Consequently you do not need to descaled the
appliance.
Never use ammonia or other products to descale the appliance. These can be
injurious to your health. Use solely a vinegar solution, or special descaling agents
available from retailers.
5. Empty the jug, fill with clean water to the MAX level, and bring to the boil. Empty
the jug. Repeat this process twice.

with other household wastes throughout the EU. To prevent
possible harm to the environment or human health from
uncontrolled waste disposal, recycle it responsibly to promote
the sustainable reuse of material resources. To return your used
device, please use the return and collection systems or contact
the retailer where the product was purchased. They can take
this product for environmental safe recycling.
