3Connect Camera to Wireless Router with One Press

(Recommended) Apply your own ADSL or cable Internet service to simplify the network configurations.
If no, please download from “App Store”.
You have installed our mobile program, EagleEyes-Lite or EagleEyes-Plus on your iPhone or iPad.
You know the IP address to access your wireless router.
If you don’t know, check the user manual of your router, or follow the steps below to check and write it down.
Connect your iPhone / iPad to the wireless network you want to use for network configurations, and go to
“Seings” “Wi-Fi”.
Select “>” near the selected wireless network to enter the details.
Router: The IP address of your wireless router.
(Optional) Your wireless router supports UPnP, and this function is enabled.
Your wireless router is configured to Internet.

1. Fasten the base
of the bracket

6Check Your Connection 7Change Default Account
To ensure your account safety, after finishing network
setup, please access the camera, and select “ “ 
“Advance Setup” “Account” to change the default
password with a new one you prefer.
Step3: In the setting page, switch from “DHCP” to “Static”, and change the port as needed.
You may change the default port number “88” to any value from 1 ~ 9999 (such as 8080) if “88” is blocked.
“80” is not recommended to use since many service providers block this port.
Then, write down the IP address and port number. You might need them in “5. Port Forwarding”.
When the Internet status indicator ( ) is blinking in the fashion below:

Take D-Link wireless router as an example: Go to “ADVANCED” “PORT FORWARDING”.
The naming of port forwarding or virtual server may vary based on different router brands. To know
where it is, please refer to the user manual of your wireless router.
Then, enter the IP address and port number you have written down in “Step3” of , and enable this rule.
Step1: Open the web browser on iPhone / iPad, and enter the IP address of your wireless router noted down in (
(such as “192.168.2.1” in our example) to access.
Step2: Go to the port forwarding (or virtual server) rule configuration page.

When you complete the network setup, check your
connection as instructed below.
Step1: Check if the LAN ( ) and Internet ( ) status
indicators on the camera are both always on.
Q3: My live images are not fluent. Why?
A3: Image fluency could be affected by the local network upload bandwidth, router efficiency, client network download bandwidth,
complexity of live view, and more.
(Available for remote access from Internet Explorer and iPad only) To have the best image fluency, select QVGA; to have the best
image quality, select “SXVGA”; to have normal image fluency and quality, select “VGA”.
Q4: The detection range of the built-in human detection sensor seems too short and the sensor is not sensitive enough. Did I do
anything wrong on installation?
A4: The human detection sensor might be influenced by the temperature of ambient environment and human beings, and the applicable
working temperature is up to 30oC. To get more accurate and precise detection, you may connect external alarm devices, such as
magnetic contacts.

Q5: The live video keeps flickering. Why?
A5: Please try adjusting the power line frequency to “60 Hz” or “50 Hz” from your iPhone by selecting “ ” to enter IPCAM
Configuration page. Then, go to “Advance Setup” “Camera” to change setting.
Q2: I can’t connect to this camera with 3G network, but it works with my wireless network. Why?
A2: Your network configuration is not yet completed, or the port number used for the camera is blocked by your mobile carrier.

Q1: Does this camera support quick wireless connection setup with just one press?
A1: Yes, and this support must work with the router which also supports quick wireless connection setup. Users do not need to
manually search and enter the password to join the wireless network. All setup and connection can be done with just one press.
To use this function, your router must be compatible with WPA or WPA2 security. And the naming of this function may vary based
on the brand of each router. For details, please check the user manual of your wireless router.

Check if your router is configured to Internet:
Step2: Switch the network mode to 3G mode on
iPhone or iPad.
Step3: Start EagleEyes, and select the connection you
just added to see if you can access the camera
successfully.
If yes, your network setup is successful.
If no, the port number you’re using for the
camera might be blocked by your phone carrier.
Go to , change the port number as instructed
in Step3, and click “Apply” to save your setting.
Then, return to to examine your connection
again.

Regardless which message you see, proceed as instructed below:
Step4: Select “Apply” to confirm all your changes, and WAIT till you see the message “Done” or “Fail” in “Status”.
For Done, you’ll automatically return to the new device page.
For Fail, select “ ” on the top right side. You’ll be prompted to select “DDNS” or “Local
IP”. Select “DDNS” and return to the new device page.

為確保您的帳號安全，當您完成網路設定後，請連線到
攝影機，然後在畫面右上選取 [ ] [進階設定] 
[帳號設定] 以變更預設使用者名稱及密碼。
步驟 3：進入設定頁面後，將 [DHCP] 切換到 [Static]，並視需求更改埠號。
預設埠號為 88，若 88 埠號被擋，請將埠號改為其他數值。(從1~9999，例如 8080)。
不建議使用埠號 80，因部份電信業者會擋此埠號。
然後，請記下所示 IP 位址和埠號，待步驟 5 時使用。

服務埠轉傳 (port forwarding)或虛擬伺服器的命名，會因不同廠牌的路由器而有所不同。欲知確切的位置，

然後，請輸入您在 的步驟 3 所記下的 IP 位址與埠號。

態指示燈皆為恒亮。
問： 影像看起來很不流暢。為什麼？
答：可能造成上述情形的原因：
1) 影像的流暢度會受到 iPhone / iPad 上傳頻寬、路由器的硬體效能、攝影機下載頻寬和畫面複雜度等因素有關。如需看到非常流暢的
影像，解析度請選取 [QVGA]；如需看到最好的畫質呈現，解析度請選取 [SXVGA]；如對影像流暢度和畫面沒有特殊要求，建議解析
度則選取 [VGA]。
2) AVN812 支援 IEEE 802.11b/g/n 介面。在 b Mode 時，如果同時兩人(以上) 連上攝影機，會造成頻寬不足、影像畫面延遲的狀況。
如遇此情形，建議使用其他模式 (g mode / n mode)。
問：攝影機內建的人體偵測感應器，感應距離好像不遠，而且還會有感應不到的情形發生。為什麼？
答：此人體偵測感應器可能會受到周遭環境的溫度和人體溫度的影響而失判斷，其適用工作溫度應在 30oC 以內。
若想要提升偵測的準確度和感應率，建議可外接其他警報裝置，例如：磁簧開關。

問：即時的影像畫面一直閃爍。為什麼？
答：請使用 iPhone 切換電源頻率至 [60 Hz] 或[50 Hz]。選擇 進入設定頁面。接著，選擇 [進階設定] [攝影機] 變更設定。
問：我不能透過 3G 網路連線到此攝影機，但卻可以透過無線網路連到。為什麼？
答：您的網路設定沒有設定完成。或者攝影機所使用的埠號被電信業者封鎖。請依 的指示，再次檢驗您的網路連線狀況。
