1.Horizontal wind directionadjusting
Use hands tomove the vane and change the
horizontal wind direction.
Note:
Adjust the horizontalwind direction beforethe
air-conditioner starts. Don t insertyour finger
into air-out window when theair-conditioner is operating.
2.Verticalwind direction adjusting
Refer to Remote Controller Usage Instruction for how toadjust vertical winddirection
through adjusting thehorizontal airflow vaneby remote controller.
Note
Adjust the verticalwind direction by remote controller. When you adjust the horizontal
airflow vane byhand, the machine may cause problem.
When the air-conditioner stops, the horizontal wind vanewill close thewind outlet ofair-
conditioner.
Please read this instruction before using theair-conditionerand follow
the instr ction. Otherwise, itmay cause damage to the air-conditioner or
to the otherperson s safety and property.

Items of attention
Make sure thatair outlet and inlet are notblocked.
The earth wireis connected safely and reliably.
The filter netis properly fixed.
If the unitis not in use for along time, pleaseclean the filter net before startingthe
see Maintenance for how tooperate.air-conditioner,
Checking before usage
Set the suitabletemperature, especially when there areold people, childrenand patients
in the room.
In the casethe air-conditioner occurs closing down or gash dueto the severeinterference
from outer environmentssuch as auto and mobile phone etc.,please take off the plugand
then plug in after several secondsto restart theair-conditioner.
Installation should alwaysbe carried out by specialist. The customers shouldnot install
the air-conditioner by themselves, Otherwise, it maycause damage to the air-conditioner or
to the otherperson s safety and property.
In order toproperly use the air-conditioner ,please follow the Working condition in the
instructions, otherwise, itmay activate the inside protection, or lead to weeping,or
decrease the cooling/heatingefficiency.
Note
Safety rules
Generally ,keep thetemperature difference between the insideand outside
within 5 .

5
Make sure that air outlet and inlet
are not blocked, or it may decrease
the efficiency of the air-conditioner,
even stops the operation of the system.
If the air filter is blocked, the cooling
or heating capacity will be affected.
Please regularly clean the air filter.
The power switch should be placed
out of the reach of child to prevent the
child from the danger of electric shock.
Warning
In lighting storm weather, please cut off the
primary power supply switch in order to
prevent the machine from damage.
If the unit is not in use for a long time, please
cut off the primary power supply switch to
avoid incident.
Liquid detergent or corrosive detergent
should not be used for cleaning the machine
and sprinkle water or other liquid onto it .
Otherwise it may result in damages on the
plastic components of the case, even electric
shock.

Methods of resolution
The normal protectionsof the air-conditioner
1.Compressor protection
The compressor willnot restart within 3 minutes after stop operating
the heating operationjust starts frost dissolving operation
operating under lowtemperature
Cold wind prevention(heat pump type )
Non-air-conditioner trouble
In the heatingmode, the indoor unit won t send wind or operate in low wind ,if theheat
exchanger of indoorunit has not reached the stipulated temperature in the following
three states, soas to prevent the cold wind.
,
Frost dissolving operation(hot pump type )
The fan of the indoor and outdoor unit will stop under frost dissolving operation.
The time for frost dissolving varies in range of 4 to 10 minutes according to the out-
door temperature andthe frost condition.
It is normalphenomenon that there may be steam coming out from the outdoor unit
during the frostdissolving operation.
When the temperatureis low and humidity is high outdoors, the heat exchanger of
outdoor unit mayfrost, which may decrease the heating capacity. In such case, the air-
conditioner will stopthe heating operation and convert to automatic frost dissolving,
and then resumeheating after the frost dissolving finishes.
,

8
When the outdoortemperature falls, the heating capacity decrease accordingly because the
heat absorbed fromoutdoors decreases (See the figure at the right). At thesame time, the
temperature difference between indoors and outdoors is enlarged, so thatthe heating load
increase accordingly. If the air-conditioner can notreach a satisfactoryeffect, it is
recommended that otherheating devices be used together.
2.White steam comesout from the indoor unit
During the coolingoperation ,under high relative humidity indoors, white steam maycome
out due tothe high humidity and temperature difference of airinlet and outlet.
The air-conditioner convert to heating operation after the frost dissolving, themoisture
(due to frostdissolving) is discharged in formof steam.
3.High noise duringoperation
4.Dust is blownout from the indoor unit
5.The peculiar smellemanates from indoor unit
6.Cooling /Heating (notfor cold wind type) operation converts to only windmode.
7.If you selectthe cooling operation in a relatively damp environment (relativehumidity
is higher than80%),dew may be formed over the surface of indoorunit and drop.In such
a case, pleaseadjust the vertical wind vanes to its maximum ventilationposition(i.e.,close
to the positionnormal to the horizontal direction)and choose to improve thedew
phenomenon.
high
When the air-conditioner is used the first timeafter being left unused for a long time, the
dust inside theindoor unit will be blown out.
The s ell which absorbed from room, furniture, clothing or cigarette emanates during the
air-conditioner is operating.
m
When the indoorunit reaches the stip lated temperature, theair-conditioner will stop the
operation of compressorand convert to only wind mode. The compressor will restart
cooling or heatingafter the room temperature rise or drop to acertain degree.
u
When the compressoris operating or just stops operation, fizzle may beheard because of
the refrigerant flowor stop flowing.
After the air-conditioner operates or stops for a while, crackle fromthe naturel expansion
and contraction ofthe plastic components may be heard because of temperaturevariation.
When the air-conditioner is energized for thefirst time, soundfrom friction may be heard
because of therotating of wind wave.
8.Heating operation (heatpump type )
During the heatingoperation ,the heat pump of
air-conditioner operates with the principle of
absorbing heat outdoorand release heat indoor.

2.Use vacuum cleanersor water to clean the air filter, then dry it in a dark and cool place.
3.Insert the upsideof air filter into the machine until being entirely fixed, close the front
panel and tightenit.
After the air-conditioner is left unused for a long period ,check the inlet and outlet of
indoor and outdoorunit for any possible blockage, if any, please clean it.
Before the air-conditioner will be left unused for a long period, please make the
following preparation.
For the purposeof safety, please turn off the air-conditioner and cut off the power supply
before cleaning.
If the airfilter is cover by dust, the cooling effect will be decreased. Please regularly
clean the airfilter.
1.Raise up thefront panel of indoor unit until it suddenly stops; then raise up the protruded
part of airfilter and pull it out downwards.
Don t usededusting products by chemicals or place close to the machine.
3.The panel ofindoor machine may be taken off. Dry itafter cleaning withwet cloth.
2.If the indoorunit is very dirty, please wipe with wet cloth dipped by cold water.
Don t useharsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners on any part of the unit.

Installation
The machine mustbe installed correctly by according to thelicenced electrician
Guide of customer
Installation position
Items of attention
The customer shouldhave a qualified power supply coincident with the tag of the air
conditioner, itsvoltage should bein the rangeof 90-110% of its ratedvoltage.
The power supplycircuit should have leakage protector and air switch of which the
capacity should bemore than 1.5 times of the maximum current.
Must use specialcircuit and efficient grounding socket matching with theplug of air-
conditioner.
The wiring mustbe done by qualified electrician according to the electrical safety
requirements.
The air-conditioner must be well grou ded, the switchof the mainpower of air-
conditioner must bereliably grounded.
n
Don t pullthe power supply wire.
Fix the machinefirmly, otherwise it will produce noise and vibration.
Install the outdoor unit where it will not disturb your neighbor.
