LEDs indicate power status and Ethernet connection

LED light indications
Red light: USB 3.0 - flickering red light indicates data transfer via a USB 3.0 port. This light will not
illuminate if the adapter is plugged into a USB 2.0 port.
Green light: In operation - flickering green light indicates data transfer via a USB 3.0/2.0 /1.1 port.
Blue light: Online - solid blue light indicates successful connection to a network cable.
Installation Guide
On non-Windows XP operating systems
1. Insert the CD driver. A CD menu will load and appear automatically.
2. Select the desired folder for installation and follow the step-by-step onscreen instructions.
3. Upon installation, connect an active Ethernet cable to the adapter's network cable port. Insert the
adapter into your USB port to begin enjoying Internet access.
On Windows XP operating system
1. Insert the product. A pop-up window will automatically report that new hardware has been found.
2. Choose ‘install from a list or specific location [advanced]’, then choose ‘Search for the best driver in
these locations' and ‘include this location in search’.
3. Click 'Browse’ and choose the path: Driver\Windows\WinXP_Vista\WinXP.
4. Click ‘Next' and follow the prompts to complete installation.
5. Upon installation, connect an active Ethernet cable to the adapter's network cable port. Insert the
adapter into your USB port to begin enjoying Internet access.
