DESCRIPTION
The appliance is a purpose-built Rural Heavy Attack
Vehicle.

USE
To provide transportation for six personnel and equipment
to an incident on paved or unpaved roads.
A purpose-built appliance capable of carrying crew and
materials safely and expediently to a fire scene.
To provide the crew with up to 3000 litres of water.
To provide a Compressed Air/Foam System for fire-
fighting. (CAFS)
To provide scene lighting.

CONSTRUCTION
Vehicle chassis is an Isuzu FTS 139-240 Crew Cab 4x4
with manual transmission. High-strength all-steel cab
construction.
The 15mm polypropylene UV resistant tank with baffles
and overflow has a capacity of 3000L.
A Waterous CLVK pump and a Rotocomp EVO6 Air
Compressor coupled to a Hatz 4H50TI diesel engine
which is at the rear of the appliance.
Two Quik Corp RFR-B 24V electric rewind hose reels.
One located at the rear NS (CAFS) and one at the rear OS
of the vehicle. They both have 25mm Storz fittings.
Body construction consists of a steel structural member
sub-frame.
Lockers and stowage units built from aluminium sheet.
