Install the amplifier near your VCR, computer,
or TV monitor using thescrews provided. The
amplifier can be attached to the wall, the
baseboard, or furniture.
1.Select a location for the amplifier. Mark the
mounting screw locations 97mm apart, one
above the other.
2.Drill two 1/16-inch holes for the screws.
3.Insert the suppliedscrews in the holes,
leaving about 1/8inch extended.
4.Positionthe amplifierwiththekeyholeslotsin
the back over the screw heads.
5.Slide the amplifier down until it is attached
securely to the mounting surface.
Note: Do not mount the amplifier on any other
electronic device. Stacking components may cause
overheating.

For the best possible video signal, use only video cablesto make the input andoutput connectionsfor your amplifier. To take advantage of the
color-coded jacks on the amplifier, use matching color-coded Stereo Audio/Video Cable. Several types of composite, S-video, and audio cables are
available at your local RadioShackstore. Sample connections are shown below. Important: Do not use both composite and S-video for input or output
signals at the same time. Only use either composite or S-video for input and either composite or S-video for output, not both of them.
Note: Always use the shortest possible cable for the connections. Do not coil extra cablenext to the amplifier.
1. Connect the input device video cable.
2. Connect the output device video cable.
3. Connect the input device audio cable.
4. Connect the output device audio cable.
5. Plug the AC adapter into the AC wall outlet and
into your 4-way distribution amplifier.

similar design; or (c) refund the purchase price. All replaced parts and products, and products on which a refund is made, become the property of RadioShack. New or recondi-
tioned parts and
products may be used in the performance of warranty service. Repaired or replaced parts and products are warranted for the remainder of the original warranty period. You will
be charged for repair or replacement of the product made after the expiration of the warranty period.
This warranty does not cover: (a) damage or failure caused by or attributable toacts of God, abuse, accident, misuse, improper or abnormal usage, failure to follow instructions,

• If you have poor or no reception on
all the devices connected to the
output jacks, be sure the AC/DC
adapter is plugged into the amplifier
and into a working outlet.
• If you have poor or no reception on
a single unit, check the connections
to that unit. Exchange the cables to
locate either a defective cable or
connector.
• If you have poor picture quality, be
sure you are using video cables to
make all the connections.
