Introduction
Radiorax Dzus® Adapters are designed to allow simple integration of dzus mount avionics into a tray mount
avionics stack. The RA6000-P-(x) series adapters are designed with a rigid interface for mounting to Radiorax
support struts. The RA6010-P-(x) series adapters are designed for installation into an avionics stack using
other than a Radiorax Tray Mount installation kit.

General otes
A. Tag all parts, including attaching hardware (unless otherwise noted),
removed to gain access to work areas. Protect all parts from damage
during the installation process.
B. When reinstalling ground wires, or components requiring grounding,
clean the structure surface to provide good electrical contact.

Assembly and Installation of the Radiorax Dzus Adapter
1.0 Loosen the two #4-40 set screws (RKD6000-3 item #4) in each adapter to allow the assembly
components to slide.
1.1 Attach the avionics unit to one of the Dzus Adapters and slide p/n RP6200-P-(x) to flush with face of the
avionics unit.
1.2 Remove the unit and tighten the set screw to lock this dimension. Match LH and RH assemblies.
1.3 Position one of the Dzus Adapters in the avionics stack and slide p/n RP6100-P-(x) or p/n RP6110-P-(x)
to align the Adapter filler flush with the face of the adjacent avionics face.
1.4 Tighten the #4-40 set screw to lock this dimension. Match LH and RH assemblies.
1.5 Position the LH and RH Dzus Adapter assemblies in the avionics stack and attach with the included cap
screws (RKD6000-3 item # 5).
1.6 Install the Dzus-mount avionic to the Radiorax Dzus Adapter.
Paperwork
2.1 Complete the included FAA form 337 and place in the aircraft records. Mail a duplicate your local FSDO
within 48 hours.
2.2 Complete all applicable log book entries.
2.3 Place the Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (RKD6000-4) insert in the aircraft records
