trical connections on the ap-
pliance, please make sure that

Before carrying out any cle-

The cooker hood, when eva-
cuating the sucked air, could
generate a negative pressure
in the room- which can’t ex-
ceed the limit of 0.04 mbar,
in order to avoid the suck of
exhausts deriving from the
heat-source. Therefore the
room should be provided with
air-intakes to allow a costant
ow of fresh air.

Open the glass panels using both hands and
take them up to full opening.

THE APPLIANCE CAN BE INSTALLED IN
BOTH BUILT-IN AND FREE-STANDING
VERSION.
Forproper operation,werecommendto in-
stall the appliance at a maximum distance of
2000 - 2100 mm from the oor.
Beforeinstallingtheappliance,checkthatall
the components are not damaged, otherwise
contact your retailer and do not carry out in-
stallation.
Usean airexhaustpipe,whose lengthdoes
not exceed 5 meters.
- Limit the number of elbows , since each
elbow reduces the appliance air capacity of
about 1 linear meter. (E.g.: if no. 2 x 90° el-
bows are used, the piping length shall not
exceed 3 meters).

- Use a 150mm/200mm constant diameter
pipeforthewholelength.

The use of materials which
can burst into ames should
be avoided in close proxi-
mity of the appliance. When
frying, please pay particular
attention to re risk due to
oil grease. Being highly in-
ammable, fried oil is espe-
cially dangerous. Do not use
uncovered electric grills. In
order to avoid possible re
risk, all instructions for gre-
ase-lter cleaning and for
removing eventual grease
deposits should be strictly
followed.

2,inserttheplasticplugsintotheholesmade,
and then x the ceiling brackets, as shown in
Fig. 3. The brackets, which being telescopic
can be adjusted in height , shall be secured at
their minimum extension.
Bringthehoodclosetothebracketspreviou-
sly xed and connect the appliance to the
supply mains.
Secure the hood to the ceiling, by using the
screws supplied, as shown in Fig. 4.

external cover is not necessary (Fig. 5).
Arecessshallbecreated,wheretheappliance
will be placed, which shall have a 730 mm X
450 mm rectangular opening and depth ran-
ging from 110mm to 190 mm.
INSTALL THE HOOD ON THE CEILING, CON-
NECT THE CANAL SYSTEM FOR THE AIR
OUTLET, SET THE ELECTRICAL CONNEC-
TION AND THEN COMPLETE THE PLASTER-
BOARD STRUCTURE.
Therecessshallbeprovidedwithasocketand
a round pipe of 150mm diameter, or a similar
section, for the air outlet.
Drilltheholesontheceiling,asshowninFig.2,
insert the plastic plugs into the holes made, and
then x the ceiling brackets as shown in Fig. 3.
Theceilingbracketsare telescopic,so their
height can be adjusted at 80 mm between the
ceiling and the hood.
Youcanchooseoneofthethreeairout-lets
shown in Fig. 6: t the air outlet plastic an-
ge in the desired outlet; the remaining outlets
shall be closed with the specic metal caps , as
shown in g. 6.
Bringthehoodclosetothebracketspreviou-
sly xed and then connect the appliance to the
supply mains.
Secure the hood to the ceiling, by using the
screws supplied, as shown in Fig. 4.

The transmitter is equipped with 5 buttons
for cooker hood management, as specied

DIMMABLE LIGHTS FUNCTION
Thisfunctionprovidesforlightsdimmability,
ranging from 20% to 100% , by continuously
pressing the light key on the remote control.
Functionsarethefollowing:

brightness reduction.
- Releasing the key during reduction or in-
crease light keeps the luminous intensity re-

Themanufacturersuppliestheradiocontrol
unit ready to be used with codes preset in the
Factory.
OPERATIONMODE
Standard conguration:
Standard conguration requires all “cooker
hoods – radio control - system” to be pro-
vided with the same transmission code. In
the event two cooker hoods – radio control
system are installed in the same room or ne-
arby, each system may aect the operation of
theanother.Therefore,thecodeofoneradio
control system must be changed.
Generatiing a new transmiissiion code:
The radio control system is provided with
preset codes. Should new codes be requi-
red, proceed as follows: Press simultaneously
buttons:

Thebatteryshouldbereplacedeveryyear
to guarantee the optimal range of the
transmitter.
Toreplacetheexhaustedbattery,takethe
plastic lid o, remove the battery and re-
place it with a new one, observing the cor-
rectbatterypolarities.

cial collection bins.

Learniing the new transmiissiion code:
Oncethetransmissioncodeischangedinthe
radio control unit, the electronic central unit
of the cooker hood must be made to set the
new code in the fol- lowing way:
Press the main power-o buttonofthehood
(g. 11) and then restore power to the elec-
tronic control unit. Within the next 15 secon-
ds, press the Liight Button to synchronise
the central unit with the code.
Reset of the Factory coniguratiion:
To restore the Factory conguration, follow
the pro- cedure described below: press si-
multaneously buttons:
for2seconds.WhenLedslighton,pressbut-
tons:
(within5seconds).Ledsashing6timesin-
dicatetheprocedureiscompleted.
WARNING! This operation deletes perma-
nently the preset codes.
Emergencybutton:
Intheeventthattheradiocontroldoesnot
work, use the emergency button to switch
the appliance o. After any necessary repairs
have been performed, reset the emergency
button.
An accurate maintenance guarantees good
functioning and long-lasting performance.
A special care must be paid with grease l-
ters: to remove the grease lter please follow
the instructions given in the ‘USES’ section ,
according to the model chosen.

* ParticularcareisduetothegreaselterThe
grease lter is xed through magnets, there-
fore it is sucient to insert a hand tool or the
tip of a knife in the dedicated opening and
push upwards in order to pull the lter out
of its place. See Fig. 8 In order to remove the
lter from the hood, unhook the two security
cables opening their snap-hooks, The active
coal lter has to be removed after the extrac-
tion of the grease lter by pusing the specic
handle (g.9. The grease lter can be cleaned
by hand-washing or in dishwashers..
The active coal lter has to be replacedinre-
lation to its use, at least once every six mon-
ths. To clean the appliance itself tepid wa-
ter and neutral detergent are recommended,
while abrasive products should be avoided.
Toreinsertthegreaselterafterthecleaning,
just perform the opposite operation.
Tocleantheapplianceitselftepidwaterand
neutral detergents are recommended, while

Thepower-supplycablemustbereplacedby
authorisedqualiedstaonly.

MAINTENANCE
TIMING
AsaresultofthenewEU65“Energylabel”and
EU66 “ Ecodesign” regulations issued by the
European Commission, which came into force
as from January 1st, 2015 , our products have
been adapted to comply with these new re-
quirements.
All of the modelscomplyingwiththeenergy
label requirements, are equipped with new
electronics including a timer device for suc-
tion speeds control, when the air capacity ex-
ceeds 650m³/h.
Internal motor models, with maximum air
capacity higher than 650m³/h, are equip-
ped with a timer device that automatically
switches the suction speed from 4th to 3rd
speed, after 5 minutes operation.
External motor models are equipped with
remote motors that , as for internal motor
versions, include a timer device that switches
down the suction speed when it exceeds 650
mᵌ/h. (See External Motors Instructions )
Remote motors, whose air capacity exceeds
650m³/h at both 4th and 3rd speed , will
have the following by default timer control
functions: The suction speed is automatically
switched from 4th to 2nd speed, after 6 mi-
nutes operation.
If the appliance isworkingat3rdspeed,itis
automatically switched to 2nd speed, after 7
minutes operation. Operation speeds can
also be changed during operation.
The energy consumption of the appliancein
stand – by mode is lower than 0.5W.

lisés en même temps. En ef-
fet, en évacuant l’air, la hotte
pourrait créer une dépression
dans la pièce. La pression né-
gative de la pièce ne doit pas
dépasser 0,04 mbar, évitant
ainsi que la source de chaleur
provoque un appel des gaz
qui doivent être évacués. Il est
donc nécessaire d’équiper la

Pourunbonfonctionnement,nousvousre-
commandons d’installer l’appareil à une hau-
teur maximale de 2000 - 2100 mm du sol.
Avant de commencer l’installation de l’appa-
reil, vériez que toutes les pièces ne sont pas
endommagées;autrement,veuillezcontacter
votre revendeur et ne pas procéder à l’instal-
lation.
Utilisez un tuyau d’évacuation d’air d’une
longueur qui ne dépasse pas 5 mètres.
- Limitez le nombre de coudes pour la ca-
nalisation, car chaque coude réduit la capa-
cité d’aspiration assimilée à 1 mètre linéai-
re. (Par exemple, si l’on utilise 2 coudes de
90°,lalongueurdelacanalisationnedoitpas
dépasserles3mètresdelongueur).
- Éviteztoutchangementdrastiquededirec-
tion.
- Utilisez un conduit ayant un diamètre de
150mm/200mmpourtoutelalongueur.
- Utilisezunconduitd’unmatérielconforme
aux normes en vigueur.
* Evitez d’utiliser des ma-
tériaux qui causent des am-
bées à proximité de l’appa-
reil. Dans le cas de fritures,
faites tout particulièrement
attention au danger d’incen-
die que représentent les hui-
les et les corps gras.
A cause de son inammabilité
l’huile usagée est particuliè-
rement dangereuse. N’utili-
sez pas de grilles électriques
découvertes. Pour éviter des
risques d’incendie possibles
suivez les instructions don-
nèes concernant le nettoya-
ge des ltres anti-graisses
et sur la façon d’enlever des
dépots éventuels de graisse

FONCTION ÉCLAIRAGE DIMMABLE
Cette fonction permet de régler l’intensité
d’éclairage de 20% à 100% en gardant ap-
puyée la touche d’éclairage de la télécom-
mande.

MODEDEFONCTIONNEMENT
Conguration standard:
Lacongurationd’usineprévoitquetousles
systèmes “ hotte - radiocommande “ aient le
même code de transmission. Si deux systè-
mes“hotte–radiocom-mande”sontinstallés
dans la même pièce ou à proximité des systè-
mes ayant le même code de transmission, ils
pourraientêtreinuencésetilfaudraitchan-
ger le code d’une seule radiocommande.
Génération d’’un nouveau code de tran-
smission:
La radiocommande est fournie par l’usine
avec des codes prédénis. Si vous désirez
générer de nouveaux codes, procéder en ap-
puyant à la fois sur les touches: de manière
continue pendant 2 secondes, au même:
instants’allumerontlesleds,appuyerensuite
sur les touches:
(dansles5secondes),3clignotementsdesleds
indiqueront que l’opération a été complétée.
ATTENTION ! Cette opération eace dé-
nitivement les codes préexistants.
Apprentissage du nouveau code de Tra-
smission:
Aprèsavoirchangélecodedetransmissionde
la radiocommande, il faut faire reconnaitre à la
centraledelahotteaspirantelenouveaucode
commesuit:Appuyersurlatouched’extinction
généraledelahotte(g.11),rétablirl’alimen-
tation à la centrale électronique, vous aurez
alors 15 secondes pour appuyer sur la touche
Lumière:pourfaireensortequelacentrale
sesynchroniseaveclenouveaucode.
Rétablissement de la conguration d’usine:
Sil’ondésirerétablirlacongurationd’usine,
procéder comme suit: appuyer à la fois sur
les touches:
demanièrecontinuependant2secondes,au
même instant s’allumeront les leds, appuyer
ensuitesurlestouches:
dans les 5 secondes), 6 clignotements des
ledsindiquerontquel’opérationaétécom-
plétée.
ATTENTION! Cette opération eace déni-
tivement les codes préexistants.
Touched’’arrêtd’’urgence:
Encasdedysfonctionnementdelaradiocom-
mande, utilisez le bouton d’arrêt d’urgence
pouréteindrel’appareil.Réactivezlebouton
d’arrêt d’urgence après avoir eectué les
réparations éventuelles.
ATTENTIION
La batterie doit être changée tous les
ans pour garantir la portée optimale de
l’émetteur.
Pour changer la batterie usagée, enlevez
le couvercle plastique, remplacez la bat-
teriedéchargéeparunebatterieneuveen
veillant au respect de la polarité indiquée
sur le boîtier.
La pile usagéedoitêtremiseaurebutdans
un conte- neur spécial pour la collecte des
pilesetbatteriesusagées.

Nos produits ont été adaptés pour se con-
former aux nouvelles normes de l’Union Eu-
ropéenne
enmatièredel’EU65«Étiquette-Énergie»et
l’EU66 « Écoconception » (à partir du 1er
janvier2015).
La nouvelle électronique des produits ayant
l’ « Étiquette-Énergie » sont pourvus d’un
dispositif de temporisation pour le contrôle
de la vitesse d’aspiration si le débit d’air en
évacuation dépasse les 650m³/h.
En eet, les modèles avec moteur intégré
ayant un débit d’air en évacuation supérieur à
650m³/h sont pourvus d’un dispositif qui
réduit automatiquement la vitesse IV à la vi-
tesse III après 5 minutes de fonctionnement.
La consommation de appareil en mode veille
est inférieure à 0.5 W.

Un soin particulier doit êtreportéauxltres
anti-graisse; pour enlever le ltre anti-
graisse procéder comme indiqué dans le
chapitre VERSION DE L’APPAREIL, selon le
modèle.
Le ltre à graisse est xé par des aimants,
par conséquent il sut d’insérer un outil ou
la pointe d’un couteau dans le trou ovale et
pousserverslehautpourenleverleltrede
son logement (Fig.8).
Pour retirer complètementleltredelahot-
te décrochez les deux câbles de sécurité en
agissant sur les serre-joints. Le ltre à char-
bonpeutêtreenlevéaprèsavoirretiréleltre
à graisse par sa poignée en utilisant la man-
che spécique (g. 9. Le nettoyage du ltre
à graisse métallique peut être eectué à la
main ou en lave-vaisselle.
Leremplacementdultreàcharbonsefaiten
fonction de son utilisation, au moins une fois
tous les 6 mois.
Attention,lorsquevousaccrochezlepanneau
en acier inox couvrant le ltre anti-graisse,
assurez-vous qu’il soit bien xé.
