2.1.3 Expected use – Appropriate use
The kiln has been studied for glass laminating process only. The system mainly consists of a heating of the
assembled glass, fully described in the following paragraphs, kept into the silicon bag on the shelf. Time for
vacuum is contained in the procedures pre-set in the laminating cycles, according to the logic of the
electronic checking controller of the machine.
The glass assembling, (one or more sandwiches: glass, thermo-adhesive interlayer, glass), within the size
limits of the manufacturing features of the machine and the laminating cycles, must be performed only using
the Ethilene Vynil Acetate films: “Evasafe”, manufactured by Bridgestone, or “EN S-LEC” manufactured by
Sekisui. Follow the instructions carefully in matter of using and storage. To seal the sandwiches on the
edges, use silicon-based tape only.
The silicon rubber for vacuum comes together with the machine and must be used with flat glass only. To
laminate curved glass the client needs to buy a zipped bag.
The use and the set up of the machine, as picture no. 2-1, are the only allowed by the manufacturer.
A different, having one purpose use only is allowed just on specific instructions, to be find here
enclosed, if the case.
