RSC-900 leak detection systems with shut-off valves
should be installed by an authorized plumber. Hub and
sensors are for interior use only. The valve/actuator may be
installed on the exterior of the building, if necessary and as the local
climate allows. When considering exterior installation, be sure the
actuator would not be immersed in water for more than 30 minutes and
immersed in water deeper than 3’. Do not install any components inside
a metal cabinet.
