Before First Use
Leave the Atmospheric Water Generator (AWG) standing upright
and outside of the box for at least 24 hours before plugging it in.
The AWG may have been tilted or placed upside down during
shipping. Leave the AWG standing upright for at least 24 hours so
the oil in the compressor can settle from shipping. Not doing so
can affect the performance and lifespan of the AWG.

Safety Information & Precautions
• Install the AWG on a flat surface to minimize vibration and/or
noise.
• Inspect the power cord before use. Never operate the AWG
when the power cord or plug is damaged.
• Do not insert or unplug the power cord with wet hands.
• Do not share the electrical outlet with other appliances.
• Always use replacement and maintenance parts supplied by
Real Spirit USA/H2O Machine. Failure to do so will void the
warranty.
• Insert the three-prong plug on the power cord into a matching
electrically grounded outlet (110-120V/60 Hz, 15A at least).
• Never cut off the third prong. Do not modify the power cord
length.
• Do not operate the AWG in standing water. Keep motor and
wiring dry.
• Never immerse the AWG into water or other liquids.
• Do not put the AWG close to heat-generating devices, including
flammable or dangerous materials.
• Unplug the power supply before cleaning or storing the AWG.
Always grasp the plug (not the cord) to unplug.
• Do not put fingers or other items into the air inlet or air outlet.
• Never insert any other objects into the AWG body.
• Do not sit, stand or put heavy objects on the AWG.
• Make sure to turn off and unplug the AWG before cleaning.
• Keep the AWG away from any toxic gases or liquids.
• Disconnect the power if strange sounds, odors, or smoke come
from the AWG.
• Do not operate or turn off the AWG by plugging in or unplugging
the AWG, use the power switch instead.
• This AWG should only be used by adults who have read the
manual and understand the operating procedure of the AWG.
To prevent injury and property damage, the following
instructions must be followed when using the
Atmospheric Water Generator (AWG).

• The AWG is not to be used or intended to be used by person
(including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they
have been given supervision, or instruction by an adult or person
responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with
the AWG.
• The minimum distance between the AWG and surrounding
objects when using the AWG is at least 12 inches with nothing
placed on top of the AWG.
• When the AWG is running, do not tilt the AWG to avoid water in
the pump from overflowing.
• Keep the AWG in an upright position.
• If the AWG is going to be exposed to freezing temperatures, all
the water in the tanks and filters must be drained, and the
appliance must be unplugged. See page 11 for details.
• Good ventilation is required to ensure optimal performance.

How it Works
An atmospheric water generator (AWG) is a device that extracts
water from humid ambient air. Simply put, the AWG captures and
filters humid air around you bringing it to its dew point. The water is
then collected and filtered again to create safe, healthy, filtered
alkaline drinking water virtually anywhere.
Our patented technology filters the air and cleans the water to
eliminate pathogens that may be present. Multiple patent designer
Richard Mayer has more than 10 years of research and design
regarding Atmospheric Water Generators (AWG). The filtered water
dispensed contains an extremely low (near 1) Heterotrophic
Bacteria count. The stored water stays contaminant-free while in
the Water Storage Tank and passes through two last filters before
being dispensed.

Unpack your atmospheric water generator (AWG) and carefully
remove all the tape and cardboard used in shipping.
Inside the dispenser (water storage tank) box you will find tubing,
an Interface Cable, and water drip tray.
Note: Find a flat, leveled location out of direct elements, like sun
and rain. Winterize the unit below 40 degrees.

Twist the chrome water outlet
into the open position (counter
clockwise), and leave open. We
will close it in Step 6.
Next inside of the top box turn the
pressurized tank into the open
position, the tab will be parallel to
the white hose.

the white stopper from the IN
(LEFT) with the Stopper Removal
Tool.
Note: The Hoses and Plugs are a
compression collet. You will need
to push the collet IN to remove
the plugs and/or hoses.

Close the chrome water outlet on
the front.

Turn on the Water Generator by
pressing the ON/OFF switch into
the ON position.

Plug the Water Generator directly into an appropriate outlet.
DO NOT use surge protectors.

plastic tubing in about a 1/4 of
an inch. Replace the blue clip to
secure the tubing in place.

• When turned on the compressor will activate in a few minutes, if
your humidity is above 30-40% you will start creating water. You
should see water production within 48-72 hours. Do not turn off
or unplug the unit during this time.
• For new filters or initial setup, when water first flows it flushes
out some of the carbon which turns the water gray. Let the
water run until clear, and only consume in survival situations. It
is not harmful.
• The H2O Machine will stop producing water around 30-40%
humidity, but it will continue to be running.
• Green light means the H2O Machine is working. (Figure 1.1)
• Red light means the storage tank is full. (Figure 1.2)
• Sometimes the indicators need time to calibrate, and may not
display correctly at first.
• The filters should be changed every 12 months, including the
initial black storage tank, and charcoal mesh pre-filter.

Ensure the Atmospheric Water Generator (AWG) is
turned OFF and the plug is removed from the power
socket before performing cleaning or maintenance.
The AWG creates purified great tasting water from the air by
following the recommended filter replacement schedule.
Filter 01-05 replace every 12 months or 4000L (Roughly every
1,000 gallons)
Replace the pre-filter with every filter 01-05 replacement, or when
contaminated.
Filters 01-05 and the pre-filter must be replaced when winterizing
or storing the AWG for more than 4 weeks.
1. How to replace the Filters 01-05
A. Open the Water Storage Tank with the latch.
B. Locate the 5 different filters.
C. One-by-one firmly grasp the top and bottom of each filter
and twist the bottom a quarter counterclockwise.
D. Locate the new filters and do the reverse of the previous
step, ensuring the rubber caps are removed from the new
filters.
E. Firmly grasp the top and bottom of the filters, and twist the
filter a quarter clockwise to correctly seat the new filters.
F. The water that comes out will contain filter particles, this is
completely normal. Run the AWG until the water runs clear.
Approximately 2 Gallons.

Be sure to unplug the AWG from the wall outlet before starting any
cleaning processes.
Clean the AWG housing with a soft damp cloth. Do not submerge
or place water on the AWG. Water may damage the electrical
components of the AWG. Do not use chemical solvents such as
benzene, alcohol, gasoline, or other heavy-duty cleaners. A mild
detergent is acceptable. The surface may become damaged or
deformed if improper chemicals or detergent is used.

Maintenance
The working performance of the AWG will greatly reduce if the
filter becomes blocked. The filter should be cleaned approximately
every 2 weeks and may require more frequent cleaning or
changing if there is significant dander or fur in the air. The filter is
located behind the inlet grill.
Follow the steps below to take the filter out:
1. To remove the grill:
A. Locate the 3 elongated holes at the top of the grill.
B. Grab hold of the grill on the left and right elongated holes.
C. Pull out and lift up toward you to remove the grill.
2. To Remove the charcoal mesh pre-filter
A. Locate the 3 metal rods holding the pre-filter in place &
locate the three corresponding holes on the top of the grill.
B. Feed the 3 metal rods though the top of the grill through the
corresponding holes. Be sure to keep track of these metal
rods, as they are required to insert the new/cleaned
pre-filter. You will not be provided new ones in your
replacement kits.
C. Gently pry the pre-filter from the top and bottom channels.

3. Follow the steps below to clean the filter.
A. Use a vacuum cleaner to remove dirt from the surface of
the filter, or rinse the filter with warm water and mild
detergent and place it in a cool place to dry thoroughly. Do
not use sun exposure or other high-temperature heating
methods to dry the filter, which will deform it.
B. If your filter is too dirty or is breaking apart, you will need to
replace it. Contact us at 888-601-5886 for replacement
parts.

1. Follow these steps to replace the pre-filter:
A. Find the top and bottom channels on the inside of the grill.
B. Wedge the new/cleaned pre-filter into these channels.
C. Locate 3 metal rods and corresponding holes on the grill
and channels.
D. Feed the 3 metal rods OVER TOP of the pre-filter and set
into the 3 corresponding holes.

1. Unplug the AWG from the wall.
2. Drain your tanks and lines by opening the chrome faucet
(which will be left open during storage) allowing the water to
dispense.
3. Remove and discard the 5 filters from the water storage tank.
4. Disconnect the Ethernet and water line connecting the
harvester and water storage tank.
5. Remove initial black storage tank from the bottom of the
harvester where the magnetic door opens.
6. How to open the magnetic door on the harvester:
A. Firmly push the top left and right of the door, the door will
prop open.
B. Pull down the door so it is resting close to the ground.
7. Find 1/4in white hose line connected to the black tank, remove
the blue clip and remove the white 1/4in line. Discard the black
tank only; be sure to save the attached hardware for
installation of a new black tank.
8. Blow air through any white 1/4in lines to push remaining water
out.
9. Wrap the power cord to keep it safe.
10.Cover the AWG with a plastic bag.
11.Store the AWG upright in a dry, well-ventilated place.

machine to work?
The AWG requires at least 40% humidity and temperatures above
40 degrees F to operate.
Can I use solar to power the AWG?
The H2O Machine is solar compatible. Bring your own kit.
Can I add additional storage tanks?
Yes, the H2O Machine allows you to daisy chain additional water
storage tanks of your choice to the unit to continue to make
water when the inner tank is full.
Where do these machines work?
The machines will work virtually anywhere with 40% humidity.
Do they work in the desert?
Depending on exact use, dryer climates are not ideal for an
Atmospheric Water Generator.
Can you power it with a generator?

Refunds will not be made for any shipping and handling charges and will
be deducted from the refund for any refused packages including "Return
to Sender". This includes all LTL shipments.
For the first 5 years from the date of original purchase, we warrant the
entire unit to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under
normal operation (not including wear and tear use), we will repair or
replace any defective part(s) or, at our discretion, replace the entire unit
free of charge. After the first 5 years, we continue to stand behind your
purchase for as long as you own it. Should the unit need to be repaired,
we will provide the replacement parts at no charge to you. You will be
responsible only for the cost of handling and labor to replace the parts.
Third-party or reseller purchases are excluded from all warranties, with
an exception for verified dealers. Should the estimated cost to repair the
unit exceed 50 percent (50%) of the unit’s original suggested retail price,
we will provide you the customer with an entirely new replacement unit
of equal or greater original value for 50 percent (50%) of the original
suggested retail price. The compressor carries a 10-year warranty, we
warrant the compressor to be free from defects in materials and
workmanship under normal operation (not including wear and tear use),
we will repair or replace any defective part(s) or, at our discretion,
replace the entire compressor free of charge.
Whether in the first 5 years or subsequently, upon discovery of a product
defect, you should immediately notify Real Spirit USA, Inc via telephone
or email of the exact problem you are having to the best of your
knowledge. If it is determined to need an additional diagnostic
inspection, then we will provide you with instructions. The customer is
responsible for the cost of shipping the unit to the service facility.
Third-party or reseller purchases are excluded from all warranties.
However, following repair or replacement, Real Spirit USA will cover the
cost of shipping the unit back to the consumer within the contiguous
United States. Customers outside the contiguous United States must
also cover the cost of return shipping following repair or replacement.

equipment, damage resulting from accident or unreasonable use, and
also does not include replacement filters nor other disposable parts and
supplies (Examples are cracked handles, scuffs, damage from solar,
broken swivel spout, cut power cord, etc.). *Unreasonable use also
includes using the unit outside of North America and in countries where
the voltage may be higher than 110/120 Volts, which is the normal
operating range of our products. **Additionally the warranty will become
VOID should the case seal be broken and the tamper system activated
which shall indicate the unit cabinet was opened for purposes other than
authorized by the company. It should be noted that any electronic unit
should be serviced only by an authorized service technician duly certified
by Real Spirit USA, Inc. All warranties are non-transferable and remain
registered to the original purchaser.
Water Damage Liability Statement and Waiver
Real Spirit USA, Inc accepts no liability, nor offers any warranty or remedy
for damages of any kind in regard to water damage caused or reported to
be caused by leaks from hoses, fittings, or directly from any of our
products.
Further, Real Spirit USA does not warrant or accept any liability in regard
to installation. Any installation is the sole responsibility of the owner or
the third-party installer, plumber, or contractor.
Basic care and maintenance by the owner/ user of this equipment is
entirely the responsibility of the purchaser-owner/ user, as Real Spirit USA
assumes no responsibility for misuse, faulty installation, or variations in
water pressure or quality. Other than what is expressed in our products
