Keep the smartwatch screen clean and make sure you don’t damage it. With the
Rebel Cactus screen protector, you protect the screen against scratches and greasy
fingers. Know that the screen starts up under low temperature.
Clean the smartwatch with a soft cloth, just like you would clean your glasses. Do not
use water or abrasive cleaning agents.
Pay attention! Do not use the smartwatch to make calls while cycling. Don’t get
distracted in traffic.
Switch off your Rebel Cactus in places where there are also mobile phones
connected, as in the airplane. On the plane, put the smartwatch on ‘flight modus’, just
like everyone does with mobile phones, Ipads and notebooks. Smartwatches can
affect electronic equipment, so they should be off in these places.
Do not use your Rebel Cactus at petrol stations and car garages or in near flammable
materials or chemicals. Use can cause fire. Do not use your smartwatch close to a
weak signal or high-precision electronic devices. Radio waves can affect this so that
this equipment stops working. Think of: hearing aids, pacemakers and other medical
electronic equipment, fire detectors, automatic doors and automation equipment.
It is very important that you read the operating instructions, safety instructions and warnings
very carefully. This way you know exactly how to handle the smartwatch and you can enjoy it

smartwatch. Within a temperature of 5 degrees to 35 degrees and a humidity of 35% -

Do not press too hard on the LCD screen. The screen will break and the LCD liquid can
leak. If this LCD liquid gets into the eye, it can lead to blindness. If the LCD liquid enters

could cause a fire or electric shock. Always charge the smartwatch during the day and
remove the plug from the socket at night. Never leave the plug alone in the socket.
Always make sure your hands are dry when you touch the charger, the cord, or the wall
socket. Wet hands will give you an electric shock.
Do not place heavy objects on the charger cord and do not modify the cord. Doing so
can cause an electric shock or fire.
Always remove the plug from the socket if you want to clean the plug of the charger.
Do not pull the charger cord, it may cause an electric shock or fire.
The Rebel Cactus Play is not suitable for children under 4 years old.

Place the end of the charging cable on the copper dots on the back and bottom of the
Rebel Cactus. This is very easy because it is held in place by magnets. Then plug the
cable with the USB end into a USB port of a 220V charger or a USB port of a computer.
As soon as the indicator on the screen of your Rebel Cactus is 100% colored, the
battery is fully charged.
Charge the battery fully the first time you use your Rebel Cactus.
Pay attention! Connect the charging cable correctly.
Pay attention! Turn off the smartwatch while charging and don't use it.

Pay attention! This must be a nano format SIM card.
Open the cover on the bottom of the Rebel Cactus, by gently opening the cover and
turning it to the right. Place the nano SIM card in the watch, with the copper chip
towards the top and the beveled edge at the top right.
Close the cover and press it firmly. This is very important for the water resistance of the
watch. If for whatever reason the cover has broken off, the watch can absolutely no
longer come into contact with water. The cover must then be repaired first.
So, now that the SIM card is in the smartwatch, you can put the Rebel Cactus into the
strap. You do this from bottom to top. Make sure that the on/off button of the clock on
the right fits into the recess of the strap.

Press the button in the center-right for three seconds and turn on the Rebel Cactus. The
screen says ‘enter pin’. Enter the PIN code of the SIM card. Move with your fingertip or
stylus pen in the empty input field and a small keyboard will appear. As soon as you
have entered the 4 digits of the PIN code, press the button at the top right. You can also
press the screen, the down arrow, at the very bottom left. Then you’ll see that the
screen changes. Now press ‘OK’ at the bottom left of the screen. If you take this a little
longer, the Rebel Cactus will automatically go to the home screen.
The PIN code on the SIM card is very inconvenient to use, so change this code. You do
that as follows. On the smartwatch, go to ‘settings’, then to ‘SIM card lock settings’,
‘unmark lock simcard’ and enter the PIN code again.

Now go again to ‘settings’, then to ‘mobile networks’, then to ‘data roaming’. In data
roaming, check ‘data roaming’.
Now go to ‘settings’ again and press ‘reboot’. The smartwatch will now reboot.
So! Now you can activate the SIM card. Look for that in the booklet that supplied with
the SIM card. Check whether the smartwatch is connected to the mobile network. You
can do this by sending a text message to another number or calling a phone number
from the smartwatch.

Chat: press this icon to chat with the parent via the app,
Phone: here you can type in and find any telephone number.
Friends: press this icon if you want to connect with a friend that also has a Rebel Cactus
smartwatch. How nice is that! Both smartwatches will vibrate and the portrait of your
friend is illuminated. You can add up to four friends. Tap on the portrait of your friend to
send (voice) messages and photos to each other. Do you want to delete the message(s)?
Then press a little longer on the message. If you want to remove a friend from your
smartwatch, press longer on the portrait. But that won’t be necessary, right?
Video player: with the video player you can watch videos! Indicate what you like and
the coolest videos will be selected for you.
App Store: here you will find all apps that are on the smartwatch. Turn them on or off
via the RC Tracker app.
Video call: select a contact, press this contact to make a video call.
WhatsApp: read more at 2.12 WhatsApp.
Camera: press the icon and you can take a photo.
Gallery: press here to check your photos, share or delete them.
Education: press the icon for educational calculations' memory games.

Instagram: do you have an Instagram account? Then log in.
TikTok: do you already have a TikTok account? Then log in. Creating a new account on
the smartwatch is not possible. Do you not have an account, and would you like to? Ask
your parents and always create the TikTok account with them together. Make sure that
the ‘Family Safety Mode’ (privacy settings) is set.
*You cannot (yet) create, edit and post short videos with your Rebel Cactus. That will
come in the future.
Games: here you see a list of all the games you want to play.
Spotify: if you have a Spotify subscription, log in and play your playlist.
Musicolet: don’t have Spotify? Then use Musicolet.
You will find four nice audiobooks in the folder ‘audiobooks’.

You can do everything with Instagram on the smartwatch
that you do normally with Instagram. Do you not have an account?
Ask your parents and always create an Instagram account with them together.
Do you have a Wifi connection? Then download your playlist,
so that you can also listen to the playlist when you are offline,
for example, while playing outside.
Send MP3 files to the smartwatch via Bluetooth.
Do you not want certain apps on the smartwatch?
You can turn apps on or off via the App Store in the RC Tracker app!

WhatsApp: do you already have WhatsApp? Then log in. Don’t you have WhatsApp
yet? Ask your parents and always create a new account together. With WhatsApp on
your smartwatch, you send messages. For calls and videocalls use the Rebel Cactus
Tracker app and the watch.
TIP: creating contacts in WhatsApp is unlimited, but it is not that easy. Give your 06-
number and therefore be invited. That way, you don’t have to enter anything yourself.
You can also add contacts by scanning your WhatsApp QR code, without entering
anything on the smartwatch yourself.
Settings: check all system settings here; mobile networks, wifi,
Messages: here you will find incoming text messages and create/send text messages.
Steps: the step counter; yay! Keep track of how many steps you have walked per day.
QR code:
AppCode: do not use this QR code.
RegCode: scan this QR registration code if you want the smartwatch connect to the
Rebel Cactus Tracker app.

Turn on roaming for the mobile network. Pay attention! This may incur costs, especially
outside the EU.
Go to settings and turn on the wifi. This will now search for networks. Select the desired
network, press and enter the password (tick password visible) and press connect.
TIP: connect the smartwatch to a parent’s hotspot. Does the subscription in the Rebel
Cactus not have unlimited data, and is there no wifi in the area? Then connect the
smartwatch to a parent’s mobile phone via a hotspot connection. This way the child
always has data, as long as it is close to the parents.
Turn on the Bluetooth connection. The smartwatch will now scan to search for other
Bluetooth devices. Select the one you want the device with. After being paired, music
can be listened to via this external device, such as wireless headphones, earbuds, or a
speaker. When you have finished listening to music, turn off Bluetooth again, this makes
a difference in battery usage.
Pay attention! If you want to pair another device, you must first unpair the paired
device, before the smartwatch, starts scanning for new devices.

Here you can adjust the volume: media, alarm, calling.
Press the firefly/light to determine what brightness you want to set up.
Determine how long it takes for the watch to go to sleep.
Press ‘OK’ and the smartwatch will reboot.
Make sure the smartwatch is off before charging it (this is not necessarily necessary, you
can also charge the smartwatch when it is on, but off is the fastest way). You can turn
off the smartwatch in two ways:
Via the Rebel Cactus Tracker App. Go to settings and press the 'turn off the watch'
button.
On the smartwatch. Go to settings and press 'shutdown' then 'OK' and the smartwatch
will turn off.

Clear tasks: delete all tasks.
Clear cache: empty the cache.
File explorer: here you will find the locally stored on the smartwatch itself files, such as
MP3 music files.
Device info.
Wireless update, IMEI-number, and software.
For a wireless update, you can check whether you have the latest version of the
software. The smartwatch indicates this when you press it. If you do not have the latest
software version, the smartwatch will update this version itself.
TIP: make sure your wifi is on.
Under build number, you can see which version of the software is installed. At the
bottom, you will find the IMEI number of the watch. This number is the same as the
IMEI sticker on the back of the watch box.
Simcard lock settings: here you can disable the PIN-code on the SIM card. We certainly
recommend that you do that! Do reboot the watch immediately after doing this (3.7).
Date & Time settings: choose your date type and time (zones) indication.
Language: scroll through the page to set your preferred language.

4. settings via the rc tracker app
Here you will find all information about your account. You can customize your avatar
and your details.
Here you can change the password of your RC Tracker account. Pay attention! This is
not the smartwatch password.
Here you will find all smartwatches that are linked to your account. Here, you can also
unpair your child's smartwatch or add a new one. You can also check the watch ID. If
this ID is not the same as the ID on the sticker, the watch will not be able to connect to
the app.
Here you delete your account. But be careful, once deleted you cannot use your
account or retrieve any data again.
This may go without saying, but here you log out.
Pay attention: these are the settings that you set on the smartwatch via the RC Tracker

Here you can make video calls with your child.

You can check the number of steps of the last 3 months.
Send voice messages or a photo to your child's smartwatch here. You can also check all
messages sent to the watch, such as SOS messages.
Set the times here that you want the alarm to go off. For example, waking up or a
certain time when you have to leave to catch the bus.
Here you can send a heart to your child. For example, if you are proud of him or her or
he or she has done something good. This heart then enters the smartwatch.

Here, you can remotely control the camera of your child's smartwatch. Press 'remote
camera' and a photo will be taken via the smartwatch, without your child knowing.
This is a weekly schedule in which you can set important appointments. You will be
notified before the event will take place. This way you will never be late, and you will
not forget anything important.
Here you can enter 3 numbers to which the watch will call as soon as the SOS button is
pressed. If the first one doesn't answer, the second and third numbers are called.
The update interval indicates how often you receive tracking updates about your child's
location. To save battery, it is recommended to set the update interval to 10 minutes or
60. You can choose from 'normal mode', 'power save mode' and 'sleep mode'.
Here, you can choose what kind of sound the smartwatch makes when it is called.
Here you will find all family members linked to the smartwatch. Authorize other family
members who also want to connect the smartwatch to the app by letting them
download the RC Tracker app.
