Important Safety Information
Warning: Read all Safety Information Before Operating Grill
For outdoor use only. Do not use this grill for other
than its intended purchase.
REC TEC Grills strongly advises against using lighter
uid during the operation of your grill.
Do not use alcohol, kerosene, or alcohol for lighting
charcoal. Use of any of these or similar products
could cause an explosion possibly leading to severe
bodily injury and/or equipment damage.
In windy weather, place grill in an outdoor area that
is protected from the wind.
Never leave coals and/or ashes in grill unattended.
Before leaving grill unattended, remaining coals and/
or ashes must be removed from grill. Carefully place
remaining coals and/or ashes in a non-combustible
metal container and completely saturate with water.
Allow coals and water to remain in metal container at
least 24 hours before disposal.
Extinguished coals and/or ashes should be placed
a safe distance from all structures and combustible
materials.
With a garden hose, completely wet the surface
beneath and around grill to extinguish any ashes,
coals, and/or embers, which may have fallen during
the cooking or cleaning process.
Use caution to protect yourself and property.
Use common sense practices at all times when
operating or moving your REC TEC grill.

Please note that during shipping some movement may
have taken place, so a complete visual inspection is
required. Be sure to inspect entire grill after removing
the protective shipping carton. Some surfaces may
be sharp, so wear gloves when assembling.
DO NOT PLUG IN THE GRILL UNTIL IT IS FULLY
ASSEMBLED AND YOU’RE READY TO COOK.

With assistance, lay preassembled grill
body (#1) onto its back with the warmer
box side up to complete the next step.
Tip: Flatten the cardboard box out and lay
everything on it. This serves as a good working
area and it helps prevent the grill from getting
scratched or damaged during installation.
Step 1:
Unpack and Prepare for Assembly
Unpack all contents, including the metal
plate inside the cooking chamber of the grill.
Be careful, metal plate will
move and is very heavy!
Leave brackets zip tied to lift frame
for easier installation until step 6.
Use caution when unpacking lift frame and grill. Secure
lift frame when removing plastic packaging material.

Step 2:
Attach Wheels to Bottom of Grill
For each wheel, you will need 4 bolts, 4
locking washers, and 4 at washers found
in the hardware pack (#18). Use this bolt
assembly order for installation: bolt, lock
washer, at washer, wheel, grill.
Attach 2 locking caster wheels on the
LEFT(controlside)bottomsideofthegrill.
Attach 2 Fixed Wheels (#9) on
the RIGHT bottom side of grill.
Hand tighten until all
screws are in place.

Step 3:
Stand Grill Upright
Ensure all caster bolts are fully tightened
and wheels are locked before standing
grillup.Withassistance,standgrillbody
upright and lock the caster wheels.

Step 4:
Install Metal Plate
Reinsert metal plate at bottom
of grill cooking chamber.

Step 5:
Install WyldSide Lift Frame
Slide WyldSide lift frame (#2) into the top
of the preassembled grill body (#1). Cog
wheel side of the lift frame should be on
the RIGHT. Secure using 8 large bolts and
washers found in the hardware pack (#18).
Hand tighten until all
screws are in place.

Step 6:
Install Grate Bracket Supports
Use scissors to remove zip ties from
brackets. Make sure all lift frame
wires are free and untangled before
installing bracket supports.
Rotisserie cradle bracket
(#11) is on the RIGHT
(cog side) of the lift frame.
Rotisserie drive motor mount
receiving bracket (#13) on
the LEFT (controller side) of
the lift frame.
Rotisserie drive motor mount receiving bracket (#13)
Rotisserie cradle bracket (#11)
Slide grate bracket supports
into WyldSide lift frame (#2).

Step 7:
Install Grilling Grate Frame
Attach grilling grate frame (#5) to grate
bracket supports (#11 & #13) by placing
brackets on top of grilling grate frame.
Secure grilling grate frame into
placeusing4shortbolts,4washers,
and 4 nuts, from the hardware
pack (#18). Use this bolt assembly
order for installation: bolt, bracket,
frame, washer, lock washer, nut.

Step 8:
Inspect Side Shelf
Check side shelf with attached pull bar (#4)
for fan obstruction by looking into fan hole.
Step 9:
Install Side Shelf
Using 6 large bolts and 6
at washers found in the
hardware packet (#18),
attach the side shelf (#4) to
the left side of the grill body.
Hand tighten until all
screws are in place.

Step 10:
Install Pull Bar Handles
Secure rst pull bar handle (#6) to warmer box with 4 short
bolts, 4 at washers, 4 lock washers, and 4 nuts (#18). Use
this bolt assembly order for installation: bolt, pull bar handle,
warmer box door, at washer, locking washer, nut.
Install Final Pull Bar Handle
Secure the second pull bar handle (#6) to the right side
of the grill with 4 large bolts and 4 lock washers, 4 at
washers(#18). Use this bolt sssembly order for installation:
bolt, pull bar handle, grill, at washer, locking washer.

Step 11:
Install Thermometer
Attachthermometer(#17)tofrontleftside
of warmer box door by hand tightening
gripped washer on the inside of the door
to secure it into place.
Step 12:
Install Bull Emblem
Attach bull emblem (# ) to front right side of warmer
box door by placing mounting bracket on the inside
of door. Use 2 bolts, 2 locking washers, and 2 at
washers to secure the bracket, and emblem to the
warmer box drawer.
Make sure bull emblem is facing right side up when installed.

Step 13:
Finish Warmer Box
Make sure all packing material and tape is
removed from the warmer box. Insert the
warmer box grate (#22) into the warmer box.
There are two positions for your warming grate.
Be mindful of the thermometer when
inserting the warmer box grate.

Step 14:
Install Crank Wheel Brake
Attach crank wheel brake with one
long black bolt above cog wheel.
Make sure handle is in position between
cog wheel and stopping pin.
Step 15:
Install Crank Wheel
Attach the Crank Wheel (#3) to
spit rod using locking pin to secure
wheeltoWyldSideLift Frame(#2).
USE TWO HANDS AT ALL
TIMES WHEN OPERATING THE
CRANK WHEEL AND BRAKE.

CORRECT RESTING POSITION
Step 16:
Place Grilling Grates
Wash both grilling grates (#23) with mild soap and water before
placing onto the grill. Ensure crank wheel brake (#20) is in the locked
position. Insert grilling grates onto grate frame (#5).
IMPROPER RAISED POSITION
Have Grilling Grate frame in the resting position before placing
grates in the frame or you risk harming yourself or others.
USE TWO HANDS AT ALL
TIMES WHEN OPERATING THE
CRANK WHEEL AND BRAKE.

Step 18:
Congratulations!
Yourgrillis nowbuilt!You can
now install your removable
hanging double hooks and
rotisserie accessories.
Step 17:
Install Handles to Lid
Using preinstalled hardware on handles,
attach each handle to the stainless steel
lid using this assembly order: Bolt, locking
washer, at washer, lid, handle.
Hand tighten until all
screws are in place.

Install Removable Hanging Double Hooks
Step 1: Remove Pin and Place
Remove pin and bolt to place removable hanging
double hooks over the top of the WyldSide lift frame.
Step 2: Adjust and Secure
Replace bolt and pin to secure each hook to
the frame. Slide hooks to desired positions.
