
Instructions for Use
Put suitable cookware** onto the plate of the induction hob and connect the plug
to a suitable socket. The power light will illuminate.
Press ON/OFF, the heating light will shine indicating that the unit is starting to
heat; the default power is 1500W. Adjust the power rate from 500 –2700 by
pushing the button.
Press TEMP/HEATING button and the temperature light will shine indicating that
the hob is coming up to temperature’ the default temperature is 100º C. Adjust
the temperature from 35ºC to 240ºC by pushing the button.
Adjust the time from 0 to 180 minutes by “<”or “>” on the timer.
The cooking will stop immediately if the ON/OFF button is pressed during
cooking time, followed by the fan running for one minute in order to cool the unit,
after which the unit will stop completely.
The unit will switch off automatically if (a) there is no use within 2 hours, and (b)
the timer is not set above 120 minutes.
The accessible surfaces may get hot when the hob is in use.
**Suitable Pans should be flat bottomed with a diameter of 12cm to 26 cm, and
made of: Steel, Stainless steel, Cast Iron or Enameled iron.
Unsuitable Pans: Rounded bottom pots/pans with base measuring less than 12
cm. or those made from heat-resistant glass, ceramic, copper or aluminium.
Cleaning Instructions:
Clean after use every day.
Disconnect plug and wait until unit is completely cool.
Never let water run over the unit.
Do not use thinners, scrubbing brush or abrasive powders.
Wipe using damp cloth and dish washing liquid.
Use vacuum cleaner to remove debris from air intake and exhaust vents.
N.B. Discolouration or baked on stains may result if dirty pots and pans are used
on the hob.
