Inordertosettheclockoralarmthecorrectmodemustbeselectedby
pressingtheALARM/CLOCK SETbutton.
1. Wheninclockmodethe“:”symbolbetweenthehourandminutewillash.
2. Wheninalarmmodethe“:”symbolappearsbetweenthehourand
minutebutdoesnotash.IfanalarmisalreadysettheAlarmicon
(bell)willalsoashtoindicatethealarmmodefunction.
TotogglebetweenbothmodespresstheALARM/CLOCK SETbutton.
Setting the Clock
Wheninclockmode,pressandholdtheALARM/CLOCK SETbuttonfor
2secondsandtheclockminuteswillash.
1. Toadjusttheminutes,pressorpressandholdtheINCREASE DIGIT
buttonuntilthedesiredvalueisreached.
2. Next,presstheALARM/CLOCK SETbuttonagaintoswitchtothe
hourdigit.PressorpressandholdtheINCREASE DIGITbuttonuntil
thedesiredvalueisreached.
3. Lastly,presstheALARM/CLOCK SETbuttonagaintotoggletheAM/PM
indicatoronoroff.Whenoff,theclockwillbedisplayedin24hourformat.

real-timevalues.Toresetmaximumorminimumreadingspressandhold
theMAX/MINbuttonfor2secondsinthedesiredsetting.Whenholding
thebuttonfor2seconds,abeepwillsoundindicatingthememoryhas
beencleared.

Usingapaperclip,pressthe°C/°F togglebuttononthebackofthe
R6000.Whenthebuttonispressed,abeepwillsoundindicatingtheunit
ofmeasurehasbeenswitched.
Battery Replacement
Followthedirectionsonthebackcovertoopenthebatterycompartment
door.Installanewbatteryandreplacethebatterycompartmentdoor.
