Getting Started
Refit Cam-Medi is a portable home camera which can provide you with easy monitoring of
ear condition. You need to download and install the ‘RefitCam-Medi’ application from
Google Play store or App store.

How to Connect - Android OS Smartphone
In order to use Refit Cam-Medi, you need to install ‘RefitCam-Medi’ application on your
smartphone. Search for ‘RefitCam-Medi’ application in Play store and install it.
Searching for RefitCam-Medi Application
1. Click Play store ( ) icon on your smartphone screen to run it.
2. Select APPS & GAMES tap on the screen.
3. Enter ‘RefitCam-Medi’ in the edit field and click Search ( ) icon.
4. Select RefitCam-Medi application from the list.

Installing and Running RefitCam-Medi Application
You need to find RefitCam-Medi application in Play store and install it on your smartphone.
1. Select RefitCam-Medi application and click INSTALL.
2. Once a pop-up window appears asking whether install or not, click ACCEPT.

3. RefitCam-Medi application will be downloaded and installed automatically.
4. You can launch the application by pressing the OPEN button on the screen or the
RefitCam-Medi icon directly.

5. Once you run RefitCam-Medi application, the initial splash window appears for 2
seconds and disappears.
6. The main window appears and you are ready to connect Refit Cam-Medi with
your smartphone.
Refit Cam-Medi Connection
1. Connect Refit Cam-Medi to the USB terminal of your smartphone while RefitCam-
Medi application is running.

2. When you connect the Refit Cam-Medi to your smartphone, you’ll see a pop-up
asking if you want to run the RefitCam-Medi application when this USB device is
connected. If you check ‘Use this USB device as default’and press the OK button,
the RefitCam-Medi application will automatically launch whenever you connect
the Refit Cam-Medi to your smartphone.
3. If Refit Cam-Medi is connected properly, the image appears on the main window.
4. If the connection fails, the message ‘Connection with the RefitCam-Medi failed.
Please reconnect’appears. Just unplug the Refit Cam-Medi from your
smartphone and plug it back in.

Refit Cam-Medi application (‘RefitCam-Medi’) runs on Android OS. The detailed

NOTE: Refit Cam-Medi is linked to your smartphone via USB OTG. Some smartphones
(Released before June 2013) do not support the USB OTG and may not work. Please
refer to the list of supported devices below.
How to Connect –iOS Smartphone
In order to use Refit Cam-Medi, you need to install ‘RefitCam-Medi’application on your
smartphone. Search for ‘RefitCam-Medi’or ‘Solmitech’in the App store and install the
application.
In case of iPhone, connect with Refit Gateway (SHC-GT1).
※Gateway (SHC-GT1) sold separately.

1. Click App Store ( ) on your screen to run the App Store application.
2. Press the ‘Search’button in the bottom right corner of the App Store.
3. Type ‘RefitCam Medi’in the text box and click the ‘Search’button again.
4. Select RefitCam-Medi application from the list.

Installing and Running RefitCam-Medi Application
1. Select RefitCam-Medi application and click ‘Get’button.
2. When the ‘Get’button changes to ‘Install’button, click the ‘Install’.

3. The RefitCam-Medi application is automatically downloaded and installed.
4. You can launch the application by pressing the ‘Open’button on the screen or the
RefitCam-Medi icon directly.

5. Once you run the RefitCam-Medi application, the initial splash window appears

your smartphone.

Refit Cam-Medi Connection
1. Connect a power cord to the power port of the Refit gateway.
2. Connect the Refit Cam-Medi to the Refit gateway.
3. Go to the Wi-Fi section of your smartphone settings.

4. Select REFIT CAM GATEWAY from the list of discovered networks.
5. Wait for the network connection to complete.

6. Click on the RefitCam-Medi application to launch.
7. When the RefitCam-Medi application launches, click the ‘Connect’button in the
main screen.
8. When the connection is completed, you can see the images on the screen.

How to Connect - PC
To connect the Refit Cam-Medi to the PC, you must use the Micro B(F)-USB A(M) OTG
conversion gender.
