1. Introduction
Congratulations on the purchase of your new Action
Camera produced by Rekam.
This manual contains important safety and operating
information. Please read all the information carefully
before you use the device to avoid accidents and keep
it for future reference. Follow these important safety and
operation instructions.

2. Safety Instructions
The Action camera shall not be exposed to dripping or
splashingandnoobjectslledwithliquids,suchasvases,
shall be placed over the product. Dry location use only.
Keep the camera clean. Never store it next to a heat
sourceorindirty,humidorwetplaces.Keepitoutofdirect
sunlight.
Press the screen and buttons gently. Pressing too hard
can damage the product.
Do not use the camera in an extremely dry environment.
Do not put the camera in high temperature places (over
40ºC),especiallynotinacarwiththewindowsclosedin
summer.
Do not subject the camera to harsh impacts. Do not drop
the unit to avoid damage.
Do not attempt to dismantle or repair this camera yourself.
Qualiedpersonnelshouldperformrepairs.
Disconnect the camera from the power source before
cleaning.
Use a dry soft cloth to clean this camera.

shock, do not remove the cover. No user-serviceable

The USB cable for the device should be unplugged from
the computer when the unit is left unused for a long period
of time.
Do not subject the product to harsh impacts. Do not drop
the appliance. This may result in damage to the product.

• To prevent damage, do not put this
action camera in the water to a depth
deeper than 3 m and longer than 30
minutes.

3. Important Safety Precautions
Inordertopreventprogramfailure,neverdisconnectthe
product suddenly from a PC while le transferring is in
progress.
Disconnect the appliance from PC when cleaning. Use a
dry soft cloth to clean this appliance. Do not dismantle the
productorusealcohol,thinnersorbenzenetocleanthe
surface of the product.
Attention: We have done our best to produce a complete

Charging The Battery
The camera has an internal lithium battery. Please follow
belowstepstochargethebatterywheninrstuseorin
low power.
1. Long press the power button to turn off the camera.
2.OpenthecoveronthesideofcameraandndtheUSB
slot.
3. Connect the camera to the computer or a charger
through the USB cable for battery charging.
4. When charging, the indicator light will turn red and
icker.
5. Once the charging completed, the indicator light will
keep red. Please unplug the USB cable.
Notice: The camera body may get warmer after using for
long time. This is normal.
Inserting The Memory Card
Thiscameraisnotequippedwithaninternalmemorycard.
Fornormaloperation,please prepareaTFcard(atleast

class6)rstandfollowbelowstepstoinsertthecard.
Turn off the camera.
OpenthecoveronthesideofcameraandndtheTFcard
slot. Then insert the card in correct direction. You will hear
a “click” sound if the memory card has been inserted into
the camera successfully1.
1Notice: Must use Class 6(at least) or higher speed rate TF
card. Please use above Class 10 TF card when recording video
in 4K/1080p@60fps .
Please format the TF card before using. Make sure the camcorder
is turned off before inserting or removing the card.
Using poor quality or counterfeit memory card will lead to many
problems such as crashing, can not taking photo or video,
damaging the les and so on. Suggest to use brand memory card
for improving the stability of camcorder. It has higher requirement
for TF card when in moving or long-time continuous shooting.
It is important to keep TF card clean. Do not adhere any liquid,
dust and particles on the surface of card.

Installing The Mounts
Thiscameraiswaterproof.Ifthevoicecoveristightened,
you can use the camera in the water without any
waterproof case. In order to using the camera out of doors
better,weprovideaccessorymountstoxthecamera.
There are two kinds of mounts packaged in this camera as
below. A is bike mount and B is helmet mount.
Fixing The Camera To A Bike
1.FindtheBikeMountA,xittothehandlebarofabikeby
placing the rubber pad and rotating screws.
2.Chooseoneconnectorfromthethree(a,b,c)shownin
belowillustration,thenxittothepart1oftheMountA.
3. Fix the mounting bracket which has a metal screw(part
2 in below illustration) to the a/b/c connector.
4. Twist the metal screw into the tripod slot of camera.
5. Adjust those screws to make the camcorder more
steady and convenient.

Fixing The Camera To A Helmet
1. Find the Helmet Mount B.
2.Chooseoneconnectorfromthethree(a,b,c)shownin
belowillustration,thenxittothepart3oftheMountB.
3. Fix the mounting bracket which has a metal screw(part
2 in below illustration) to the a/b/c connector.
4. Twist the metal screw into the tripod slot of camera.
5. Adjust those screws to make the camcorder more
steady and convenient.
6.After nishing installing, use the accessory straps to
xthecameratoyourhelmet.Insertastrapintothetwo
endsofthemainmountB,adjustlengthaccordingtothe
helmet’ssize,andthentiethestrapuptoyourhelmet.

5. Basic Operation
Turning On And Off The Camera
Press the Power/Shutter button to turn on the camera.
Long press the Power/Shutter button to turn off the
camera.
Tips: The working indicator light will turn blue after turning
on the camera.
Setting The Camera
System Setup
1. Turn on the camcorder.
2. Press Mode button to switch to the setting screen as
below.

3. Press OK button to enter the function setting screen.
4. Then press Mode button to chose the system setting
menu screen as below.

Format your TF card will delete all les including
the protected les. Please copy the important les

model, version, update time and manufacturer.
Function Setup
1. Turn on the camera.
2. Press Mode button to switch to the setting screen.
3. Press OK button to enter the function setting screen.
4. Then press Mode button to switch to the function setting
menu screen as below.

Driving Mode Open/Close the function of driving recorder. Press

Set the light source frequency according to your

Shutdown
For saving power, the camcorder will close
automatically after a pried of time if not using.

Watermark
The date and time will be marked on the video or
picture les if open this function. Press OK button
to chose or cancel.
Changing The Mode Of Camera
Thecamerahas4differentmodes:capturemode,video
mode, sport video mode, playback mode. Repeatedly
press the Mode button to select one mode.

2. Start to record video.

- Press the Shutter button to start recording.
- The record duration will be shown on the LCD display.
3. Finish recording.
