IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
FAILURE TO READ AND FOLLOW ALL INSTRUCTIONS IN THIS MANUAL MAY RESULT
IN INJURIES OR DEATH. SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE USE.
Read all instructions before assembly.
Units should be placed on a level surface. Failure to do
so can result in poor product performance or create a
possible safety hazard. Avoid assembly on carpet.
Do not use this product for anything other than the
manufacturer's intended purpose. Do not stand on the
unit or use it as a ladder!
Evenly distribute the weight and keep the heaviest loads
on the bottom.
Use care when working with metal parts. The use of
safety gloves is strongly recommended.
It is recommended that at least two people assemble
the unit together.

ASSEMBLY
NOTE: The vertical supports can be used as templates to mark your drilling locations
before assembly. See the installation instructions for more information.
1. Locate the screw hole 1.3 cm (1/2") from the bottom of a vertical support. Insert a
screw into the hole.
2. Slide a horizontal support down the length of the vertical support. Make sure the
notch in the horizontal support faces down and rests in position against the screw.
Repeat this process for the other nine horizontal supports, five per vertical support.
Make sure that all the notches face down.

INSTALLATION
IMPORTANT: THE DISTANCE BETWEEN VERTICAL SUPPORTS SHOULD BE
122 CM–182 CM (4'–6') TO SUPPORT THE MAXIMUM WEIGHT CAPACITY INDICATED
ON THE FRONT OF THIS CARTON. FOR LONGER MATERIAL OR GREATER WEIGHT,
MULTIPLE HORIZONTAL RACKS SHOULD BE USED.
WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT YOUR MOUNTING LOCATION IS CAPABLE OF
WITHSTANDING THE ADDITIONAL LOAD. NEVER OVERLOAD YOUR MOUNTING
LOCATION OR YOUR RACK.
INSTALLATION ON DRYWALL OR OTHER PANELED WALL SHEETING
To install the rack, you will require lag screws that are 0.6 cm (1/4") in diameter and
have a minimum length of 7.1 cm (2-3/4"). Attach the rack to wall studs only to ensure
maximum support.
1. Locate the wall studs in your wall. Choose two wall studs that are placed 122 cm–182
cm (4'–6') apart, depending on your needs.
2. Place the vertical supports of the rack against the wall at the locations chosen.
Make sure both vertical supports are placed at the same height so that the rack is level.
Mark the location of the mounting holes.
3. Drill pilot holes into the centre of the wall studs at the marked locations using a drill
bit that is slightly smaller in diameter than the lag screws.
4. Position the spacers behind the mounting holes in the vertical supports and fasten the
rack to the wall with the lag screws, as shown in the diagram.

INSTALLATION ON MASONRY WALLS
Use masonry anchors that are 0.6 cm (1/4") in diameter and have a minimum length
of 7.1 cm (2-3/4"), along with appropriate drill bits and fasteners.
INSTALLATION ON STEEL WALLS
So that the weight of the rack is properly transferred to the wall, it must be mounted
to a part of the structural framework either at the top and bottom, or at the sides.
First install floor to roof verticals (such as 2x4’s) and secure with appropriate
fasteners every 30 cm (12"). Pre-drill holes, then attach the rack to the verticals using
lag screws that are 0.6 cm (1/4") in diameter and have a minimum length of 7.1 cm
(2-3/4").
INSTALLATION ON WOOD FENCES
Wood fences are not designed to carry a load, so they must be structurally reinforced.
Install proper horizontal supports between the fence posts. Pre-drill holes, then attach
the rack to the fence posts using lag screws that are 0.6 cm (1/4") in diameter and
have a minimum length of 7.1 cm (2-3/4").

1 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
This product is warranted to be free from defect in materials and workmanship under
residential use for a period of one year from date of purchase. If the unit should fail to operate
correctly, call customer service at 1-800-459-4409 (Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, CST)
or contact us through our web site at www.qualitycraft.com. Proof of purchase is required
for all claims. The company’s sole obligation is to repair or replace the unit. This warranty is
void if, in the opinion of Quality Craft, the unit has been incorrectly assembled, altered, taken
apart, misused or abused.
WARRANTY CLAIM PROCEDURE
If a claimable defect occurs, please fill out a claim form through our website at
www.qualitycraft.com or contact our customer service department at 1-800-459-4409.
Before you make your claim, please make sure you have:
1. The description of the product
2. Proof of sale
3. Details regarding the defect
4. Name and address of the owner and installer
Claims must be filled out in writing and returned within six (6) months of appearance of
defect. Failure to comply with this stipulation will make the warranty null and void. We reserve
the right to a thirty-day (30) delay following receipt of claim in which to inspect the product.
We assume no responsibility for labor costs or removing/replacing a previously installed
product, transportation or return of a product.

Placer les unités sur une surface nivelée; le non-respect
de cette consigne peut entraîner un mauvais rendement
du produit ou peut causer un risque d’accident. Ne pas
assembler sur du tapis.
Ne pas utiliser cette unité pour quelque fonction autre
que son utilisation prévue par le fabriquant. Ne pas se
tenir debout sur cette unité; ne pas employer cette unité
comme échelle.
Répartir le poids de façon uniforme. Placer les objets
lourds à l'inférieur de l’unité.
Faire preuve de prudence en manipulant les pièces de
métal. On recommande fortement l’usage de gants de
protection.
Pour faciliter l’assemblage, on recommande fortement
que deux personnes assemblent l’établi ou l’étagère de
rangement.

ASSEMBLAGE
REMARQUE : Les supports verticaux peuvent server de gabarit pour repérer les niveaux
de perçage avant assemblage. See the installation instructions for more information.
1. Repérer le trou de vis situé à 1,3 cm (1/2 po) du bas d'un support vertical. Insérer une
vis dans le trou.
2. Glisser un support horizontal sur toute la longueur du support vertical. S'assurer que
l'encoche du support horizontal fait face vers le bas et repose en position contre la vis.
Répéter ce processus pour les neuf autres supports horizontaux, cinq par support
vertical. S'assurer que toutes les encoches font face vers le bas.

INSTALLATION SUR PLACO-PLÂTRE OU CLOISONS TYPE PANNEAUX
Pour installer le support, vous aurez besoin de tirefonds de 0,6 cm (1/4 po) de diamètre
et d'une longueur minimale de 7,1 cm (2 3/4 po). L'étagère doit seulement être fixée aux
montants muraux pour assurer un support maximal.
1. Localiser les montants muraux dans le mur. Choisir deux montants muraux séparés de
122 cm à 182 cm (4 pi à 6 pi), en fonction de vos besoins.
2. Placer les supports verticaux de l'étagère contre le mur aux endroits choisis. S'assurer
que les deux supports verticaux sont placés à la même hauteur afin que l'étagère soit à
niveau. Marquer l'emplacement des trous de montage.
3. À l'aide d'un foret légèrement plus petit en diamètre que les tirefonds, percer des
trous-guide au centre des montants muraux aux emplacements marqués.
4. Placer les butées derrière les trous de montage dans les supports verticaux et fixer le
support au mur avec les tirefonds, comme indiqué dans le schéma.

INSTALLATION SUR DES MURS DE MAÇONNERIE
Utiliser des chevilles d'ancrage de maçonnerie de 0,6 cm (1/4 po) de diamètre et
d'une longueur minimale de 7,1 cm (2 3/4"), ainsi que des forets et des attaches
appropriés.
INSTALLATION SUR DES MURS EN ACIER
De sorte que le poids de l'étagère soit correctement transféré au mur, l'étagère doit
être montée sur une partie du cadre structurel soit en haut et en bas, ou sur les côtés.
D'abord, installer des montants verticaux du plancher au plafond (tels que des 2x4) et
les fixer avec des fixations appropriées à tous les 30 cm (12 po). Prépercer des trous,
puis fixer l'étagère aux montants verticaux à l'aide de tirefonds de 0,6 cm (1/4 po) de
diamètre et d'une longueur minimale de 7,1 cm (2 3/4 po).
INSTALLATION SUR DES CLÔTURES EN BOIS
Les clôtures en bois ne sont pas conçues pour supporter une charge, elles doivent
donc être structurellement renforcées. Installer des supports horizontaux appropriés
entre les poteaux de clôture. Prépercer des trous, puis fixer l'étagère aux poteaux de
clôture avec des tirefonds de 0,6 cm (1/4 po) de diamètre et d'une longueur minimale
de 7,1 cm (2 3/4 po).
