2. Rin e the line in fre h water and allow it to dry. A wet or
alty line will increa e the weight of the line and decrea e
the hooting length.
3. After drying, arrange the line o it can run freely from the
coil or from a bucket.
4. Tie the end of the line to the loop in ide the Linebox.
5. Put the line manually and randomly in to the Linebox.
Frequently giving it a pu h downward or knocking the
Linebox to the floor o that the line i well packed and that
all the line fit in to the Linebox.
6. When all the line i loaded, tie on the ball, put the lid on
and it i ready for u e.
Keeping the line in a linebox en ure that the line run out

(3000 p i) or 300 bar (4350 p i) compre ed air. When filled to 200 bar
(3000 p i), it contain ufficient amount of air for four good hot . If filled
to 300 bar (4350 p i), number of good hot are ix.
For filling to 300 bar (4350 p i), imply connect the bottle to a tandard
cuba diving (breathing air) compre or with tandard 5/8" thread
according to DIN 477.
For filling to 200 bar (3000 p i), normally a yoke coupling ANSI -
CGAV1/1989 i u ed. A fitting for thi tandard are available from
RESTECH Norway A/S a art no 1269.
Filling the air cylinder follow national rule and hould be carried out by

DESCRIPTION OF THE PLT®
By opening the clo ing valve, air flow from the air cylinder
through the reducing valve and into the accumulator of the
ba e unit. The pre ure in thi chamber i 75 bar (1088
p i).
When the trigger i pulled, a mall amount of air i
evacuated to activate the hutter mechani m that allow the
75 bar (1088 p i) of compre ed air to flow in to the
launching tube. The hooting force brought to the rear end
of the projectile i 7630 N.
Due to the heavy recoil of 5300N it i e ential that the
PLT® i well upported. The rear end of the PLT® can be
held again t a olid point that with tand thi force during
operation. However we recommend the u e of Pivot
Support (page 15-16). Thi give flexibility and afety to all
operation .
If the bottle i filled to 200 bar (3000 p i), it will upply the
ba e unit with enough air for four maximum range hot . If
the bottle i filled up to 300 bar (4350 p i), it will have
ufficient amount of air for ix maximum range hot before
refilling i nece ary.
The bottle can be refilled from a tandard high-pre ure
compre or for breathing air. In ome countrie an
additional yoke coupling for refilling the air cylinder i
needed. Thi i available under article no 2920.

Due to the heavy recoil it i nece ary to have a good
upport for the PLT. The back of the PLT® can be u ed a
upport.
But we will recommend u e of the Pivot Support (fig 1). With
the Pivot Support come pivot pin , nylon wa her and
crew for fa tening it to the PLT® according to fig.3 on next
page.
A teel tube hown on fig 2 hall be welded or clamped at
the launching area (rail, i.e.), to a ecure point that
with tand recoil up to 5300 N. Tube can be in talled at
different place on board.
