WARNING

TO REDUCE THE RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK, install only on a circuit protected by a Ground-Fault
Circuit-Interrupter (GFCI). Pump is supplied with a grounding-type attachment plug; be certain that it
is connected only to a properly grounded, grounding-type receptacle.
Pump has not been evaluated for use in swimming pool or marine areas.
Fountain and pump evaluated for use with water only. Avoid using corrosive and abrasive liquids. Pump
is intended only for use with portable self-contained fountains no larger than 5 feet in any dimension.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
CAUTION
To guard against injury, basic safety precautions should be observed, including the following. Disconnect all
submersed electrical products before doing any maintenance in the water.
DANGER! Special care should be taken since water is employed in the use of fountain equipment. Do not
attempt repairs by yourself. Return the appliance to an authorized facility for service or discard.
Carefully examine fountain after installation. It should not be plugged in if there is water on parts not intended
to be wet. If fountain shows signs of abnormal water leakage, immediately unplug it from power source.
Do not operate pump if it has a damaged cord or plug, if malfunctioning or is dropped or damaged in any
manner. The cable and plug cannot be replaced or repaired; in case of damage, replace entire pump.
To avoid the possibility water dripping onto the plug or receptacle, position
fountain to one side of a wall-mounted receptacle. A “drip loop” should be
arranged for the cord as shown in the figure on the right. A “drip loop” is that
part of the cord below the level of the receptacle (or the connection with an
extension cord if used). It prevents water traveling along the cord from coming
in contact with the receptacle. If the plug or receptacle does get wet, DO NOT
unplug the cord. Disconnect the fuse or circuit breaker that supplies power to
the receptacle, then unplug pump and examine for the presence of water.
Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
To prevent injury, avoid contact with moving parts or hot parts such as heaters,
reflectors or lamp bulbs.
Always unplug fountain when not in use, before putting on or taking o parts, and before cleaning. Never
yank cord to pull plug from outlet. Grasp the plug and pull to disconnect.
Do not use this fountain or pump for uses other than intended. The use of attachments not recommended
or sold by the manufacturer may cause unsafe conditions.
Do not install or store fountain where it will be exposed to adverse weather conditions or to temperatures
below freezing.
Be sure to install fountain on a stable surface that is free of sludge, sand and other debris. If an extension
cord is necessary, a cord with a proper rating should be used. A cord rated for less amperes or watts than the
pump may overheat. Care should be taken to arrange the cord so that it will not be tripped over or pulled.
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). As a safety feature, this plug will fit
into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit completely in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still
does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Never use with an extension cord unless plug can be fully inserted.
Do not attempt to bypass this safety feature. Pump has no user-serviceable parts.

GENERAL FOUNTAIN TIPS ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Do not repair or replace any part of your fountain.
Have a qualified technician perform all service. Any
repairs made by a non-approved service technician
will void your warranty.
FOUNTAIN CLEANING
& MAINTENANCE
We recommend replacing the water and cleaning
the fountain at least once a year using a damp
cloth or sponge. Avoid using any cleaners as they
may contain chemicals or color that could cause
discoloration. Ideally, this process should be done
prior to the winter months, as the water would need
to be removed anyway. Use the pump to remove the
majority of water and disassemble fountain to drain
any remaining in the water basin. Use a soft cloth to
dry water plate, water ring and water basin or allow
to air dry.
Weather conditions such as sun, rain, wind, salt
water, pollution, freezing temperatures and a host of
others can degrade the finish over time. We strongly
recommend using an outdoor cover. In seaside
locations, we recommend a regular routine cleaning
to rinse away salt deposits.
Before placing a cover on the fountain, make sure
the unit is disconnected from power. Install the cover
securely to prevent wind from blowing it o.
PUMP MAINTENANCE
& TROUBLESHOOTING
Never let the pump run dry. There are no parts that
need lubrication or special maintenance. For general
maintenance or when pump flow rate becomes
visually reduced, follow these steps:
1. Unplug the pump and move to a dry area.
2. Firmly pull pre-filter cage from pump motor.
3. Remove pre-filter foam and wash thoroughly
with water. A clogged foam will significantly
reduce pump flow rate.
4. Remove the impeller cover by turning counter-
clockwise to release the lock. Then pull firmly
away from the pump motor.
5. Carefully remove the impeller assembly.
6. Wash parts with water.
7. Once washed, reassemble the pump.
Cleaning frequency will depend on the conditions
under which pump is used.
WINTER CARE
Fountains are frost-resistant up to -4°F (-20°C)
but the pump must be removed from the fountain
during freezing temperatures. If the fountain must
be left outside and temperatures drop below
-4°F (-20°C):
1. Drain water from fountain following tips in the
Fountain Cleaning & Maintenance section.
2. Remove pump for storage indoors. When
winterizing the pump, submerge in a 5 gallon
bucket of water. This will allow the seals to stay
wet and avoid cracking from drying out. Store
in a place where water will not freeze.
3. Raise fountain base from ground with wood strips
so that base will not freeze to the ground surface.
4. Use an outdoor cover or wrap the fountain with
burlap (or other absorbent material such as an old
blanket or towel), and cover securely with plastic,
making sure that water will not accumulate in the
basin or other fountain components and freeze.
5. Check fountain periodically to ensure that
the cover or plastic is secure and water is not
accumulating in any fountain component.
Two people are recommended for the installation of this fountain.
Install fountain on a level surface. You will need a properly grounded 110-volt (AC only) GFCI protected
receptacle near the fountain for your pump. Pump is submersible and must be completely under water to
function properly. Test pump and adjust to full output prior to assembly. It is not recommended that fountain
be placed directly on grass or dirt. Position the power cord opening at the base of each fountain toward
the electrical outlet to be used since the pump cord will be threaded through this opening. Assemble your
fountain on a level surface capable of holding a minimum of 315 pounds.
Refer to the Assembly Diagram on pg. 7 for visual reference of completed fountain.
1. Determine location for fountain and make sure area is level. Place fountain bowl in position.
2. Feed the pump cord all the way through the hole in the water basin and run the cord through the channel
in the bottom of the fountain bowl.
3. Fountain pump has already been assembled and connected for your convenience.
4. Fill the water basin with water. It is recommended to use between 8-9 gallons of water to ensure pump is
fully submerged under water. It is important to operate fountain with the suggested water amount. Water
level should be monitored regularly and additional water added as needed.
NOTE: Do not allow pump to run dry as it will cause damage to the pump.
5. Place the water plate on top of the water ring, making sure it sits securely.
6. Fill the trench created between the fountain bowl edge and the water plate with decorative stone or rock.
7. Plug in pump to a 110-volt receptacle. The water might take a couple of seconds to start flowing as the
pressure is adjusted.
8. Use shims to level fountain if water flows out unevenly.

FOUNTAIN
The fountain is warranted to be free from defects in
material and workmanship for one year from the date
of purchase.
If a part proves to be defective under normal use, the
part will be repaired or replaced. Our obligation under
this warranty is to repair or replace defective parts at our
discretion. If we determine that repair of a covered item is
not feasible, we reserve the right to replace the defective
merchandise with merchandise equal in value to the
original purchase price. Warranty repair or replacement
is the sole discretion of Eldorado Stone and this warranty
does not cover costs therein, including but not limited to:
freight, removal, re-installation, etc.
There will be no charge for parts on a covered item;
however, cost of labor is the responsibility of the owner.
Shipping and handling charges will apply to all warranted
replacement parts. The service agent may assess a
reasonable travel or mileage charge per service call.
This limited warranty applies only to fountains normally
used for personal, family, or household purposes and
specifically excludes rental or commercial applications.
This warranty is non-transferable.
Decorative stones and decorative glass are not covered by
this warranty.
This warranty is void if the fountain has been subject
to negligence, alteration, misuse, repairs, dings, dents,
scratches, or incorrect and/or prohibited applications as
specified in the owner’s manual.
The original purchaser acknowledges and agrees that
this product is a handmade, hand-finished product. Each
piece is unique. Any samples provided are typical of
texture, finish, individual characteristics and color, but they
should not be considered exact representations of the
final product. There can be up to a 15% variation in color
and texture from piece to piece. In addition, shape detail
can vary as much as ¼"in size. The texture created by
entrapped air ranges from smooth to randomly indented.
Minor chipping, water staining, and non-structural hairline
cracks are also traditional characteristics of this product.
As with natural stone, color will vary on individual orders
and among individual pieces in the same order. As
with natural stone, excessive heat exposure may cause
discoloration. As fountains age, color may lighten or
darken according to specific field or storage conditions
such as humidity, temperature and exposure to sunlight.
PUMP
The manufacturer will repair or replace water-feature
pumps found to be defective within 3 years of the
original purchase date. This limited warranty is extended
exclusively to the original purchaser beginning from the
date of original receipt. The pumps impeller and filter
sponge are designed to be wear items and are not covered
by this warranty. Abuse or misuse of this product voids
all warranty. In case of warranty claims, the product must
be returned to place of purchase accompanied with the
original receipt.
RETURN POLICY
Any fountain product deemed by manufacturer as
defective and covered by the warranty may be returned
to manufacturer for assessment to determine if repair or
replacement is necessary. In order to return a product, you
must have a Return Merchandise Authorization number
(RMA#). Please contact a manufacturer representative
at the corporate oce to obtain an RMA#. All returned
merchandise must have the RMA# clearly printed on the
outside of the package. Return shipping costs are the
purchaser’s responsibility. Manufacturer is not responsible
for product damaged or lost in transit. It is recommended
that return items are shipped via a delivery service that
can be tracked and/or insured to confirm receipt.
