About the SD(memory) card
•SD card is consumable. Please format it regularly and test it for normal operation.
•To ensure normal operation of the SD card, it’s recommended to format it every two weeks. And remember to save
the required file before formatting to avoid it disappeared.
•It’s recommended that Micro SD use a Class of 10 or above. The SD card capacity depends on the model. It can
support 32 to 128GB but there is no guarantee that all SD/SDHC cards are compatible with this device.
•Do not remove the SD card when the device is turned on and be sure to turn off the device before removing it to
avoid damaging the video files.
Note: The DVR is a real-time writing device. The SD card is recommended to store consumables after 8 months of
use, depending on the situation.

Note: LVDS is a small amplitude differential signal technology. The transmission rate can reach hundreds of megabytes or even higher. Also,
it has lower power consumption with better noise performance and more reliable stability.

2-3.Micro SD Card Embedded Position Indication
2-4.Micro SD Card Instructions
⚫To avoid poor recording performance and quality, the SD card is only suitable for Class 10 and it is recommended to choose a major
brand.
⚫Insert the Micro SD card into the card slot and push it to the end until hearing a "click" to indicate that the Micro SD card has been fixed
in the card slot.
⚫Do not remove the Micro SD card arbitrarily during video recording to avoid damaging the files.
⚫Please make sure that the video recorder is maintaining off during removing or installing the Micro SD card, otherwise, the Micro SD
card may be damaged.
⚫If needed to remove the Micro SD card, push it according to the insertion direction until hearing a "click", which means the front part of
the Micro SD card has ejected. Then you can remove the Micro SD card correctly.
⚫Please execute [Format Micro SD Card] on your APP monthly to ensure the operation of the Micro SD card maintaining well.

⚫Since the camera resolution is 1080P, the recording file size is an average of 230MB every 3 minutes (depending on the shooting
content). A 32GB SD card can record video for about 4.9 hours (2.4 hours for the front and rear dual cameras). If you need a longer
recording time, please replace a large-capacity Micro SD card.
⚫If you replace the Micro SD card, be sure to format it (FAT32 format) with a computer or a recorder with a built-in function to ensure the
Micro SD card store normally.

2-6.Control Box Interface Description
Warning: The MINI USB port of the control box is only used for accessory LVDS CMOS cameras. Do not insert any other MINI USB products
or power supplies to avoid damage.

3.File Locking Function Description
The host can manually lock file and may trigger an automatic file lock due to external impact.
Automatic Lock:
When the built-in Triple-axis Acceleration In-sensor of the host detects excessive acceleration, it will automatically determine that an impact
accident has occurred and thus immediately lock the file.
Manual Lock:
Please press the button and hold for 3 seconds to keep the files that are currently being recorded from overwritten. At this time, the red
light will flash slowly, indicating that the recording function is locked.
File Locking Reference:
The lock file is based on the "file" instead of the recording time. For example: the exact trigger file is a trigger file plus 30 seconds from the
start point to the trigger point.
Take the 3 minutes file as an example:
Note: Locked files can occupy up to 30% of the SD card's capacity. When this capacity is exceeded, the oldest locked files will be overwritten.

4.APP Instructions
4-1. Method of App Downloading & DVR Connecting
1. For iOS users, please download the "Ucam
Dashcam" App. As for the Android users, please
download the "Ucam" App.
2. When trying to start up the DVR, please turn on
Wi-Fi on your mobile device and search for the
signal of the DVR station. The name is similar to
"CarDVR-123456abcdef". (The last 12 digits are
independent identification codes, which are
different for each device)
3. Select and click "Wi-Fi Connection" and enter the
default password "12345678".
Users may browse
through the files
stored in the mobile
device.

4-2. App Screen Displaying After DVR Connect
Instructions
⚫Setting: Enter the setting page
⚫Return to the connection screen: Enter the connection screen of the DVR.
⚫Recording function button: Press to manually start/stop the DVR recording function.
⚫Picture-in-picture switching: The monitoring picture-in-picture can be
arbitrarily switched to the following four modes
1. The front camera is the main screen, the rear camera is the sub one.
2. The rear camera is the main screen, the front camera is the sub one.
3. It only shows the front camera.
4. It only shows the rear camera.
⚫Full-screen switching: Switch the user interface to upright or landscap
⚫Photo shooting: Take the current picture immediately. (A DVR equipped
with dual recorders will shoot both front and rear images at the same time)
⚫Video: When users browsing through the video in DVR, the recording
function will automatically pause
⚫Photo: When users browsing through the photos in DVR, the recording
function will automatically pause
⚫Note: DVR is synchronized with the date and time on the mobile
device through the App. If the battery is removed due to maintenance
or other factors, please re-use Wi-Fi through connecting to ensure the
correct recording times.

4-3. APP Setup Instructions
Video Resolution:
Users may choose either single-camera
recording 1080P or dual-camera recording
1080P_1080P, 1080P_720P, 720P _1080P,
720P _720P. It depends on whether equipped
with a rear camera, the system will
automatically show a dual recording option.
Loop Recording:
When users choose to record a single image,
the file storage time can be selected from 3
minutes, 5 minutes, and 10 minutes.
Audio Record:
Choose whether to record the sound while
video recording.
Date Watermark:
Choose whether to display the time of
photographing and video recording.
G-Sensor Sensitivity:
When the vehicle experiences a collision, the
video will be locked. Users may choose the
collision sensitivity to be off, low, medium and
high.
Note: If files are frequently locked, the
sensitivity can be lowered.
Monitor Mode:
Users may choose to turn on or off parking
recording.
Note: If the vehicle is hit by an impact after it
turned off, a 10-second recording will start
within 3 seconds while showing as a file locking
icon.
Format Memory :
Formatting the SD card as FAT32.
Note: It is recommended to format monthly or
every other month.
Default Setting:
Choose to reset as original settings.

1. Video: Display the videos in the DVR in time sequence. It will
automatically overwrite the oldest file as the capacity is full and record it
in a loop. Whether the video is locked automatically or manually, a lock
mark will be displayed in the lower-left corner of the file.
2. Photos: Display the photos in the DVR in time sequence, including
photos taken by the physical camera button or App.
3. Press the [Edit] button in the upper right corner to check the file to be
downloaded. You may press the [Download] button to start
downloading or the [Delete] button to delete the file.
4. File Name Description:
Name Format of the content recorded by the Front Camera:
「Y_MD_HMS_no.A.TS」
(ex:2020_0429_152526_930A.TS)
Name Format of the content recorded by the Rear Camera:
「Y_MD_HMS_no.B.TS」

Point: DVR will reserve 30% of the memory capacity to save the locked files. Once it exceeds, it will automatically delete the oldest
locked files and start loop recording. Please remember to back up files on the mobile device as soon as possible as suggested in case
the file is locked.
Note: Please note that the video format is TS, which cannot be stored in iPhone's photo album. It will be stored in the [Local Album] of
the APP first. Users may click the upper right corner "save button" on the video that needs to be downloaded, to convert the format into
MP4 that can be recognized and stored on iPhone.

5-2. Function of Computer Browsing Videos and Photos On Micro SD card
CARDV is an Audiovisual folder. Include the following:
1. Movie Folder: Used to store general video files
2. Photo Folder: Used to store photo files
3. RO Folder: Used to store general lock files and parking monitoring lock files
At the end of the letter A stands for the front
camera file and B stands for the rear camera file
