When e power is connected for e first time, e radio will enter standby mode.
Display will show e ‘Time is not set’ and e clock will flash ‘00:00’
When e radio is switched on for e first time it will automatically go into DAB mode.
The radio will display ‘Scanning’ on e screen and a bar will show e scanning
progress. The number on e right of scanning shows how many channels are found.
In is mode, e radio receives a digital signal and displays information about e
radio station, music title, etc.
1. Press <POWER> to turn on. Then press e <MODE> button to select ‘DAB MODE’
on e display.
Note: If no DAB reception is currently available, change e position of your device or
adjust e aerial. Press and hold e <MENU / INFO> button to enter e menu. Turn
e rotary button to select ‘Full scan’ and press e <SCROLL/SELECT> button to
confirm, is will start a new search.
2. In DAB mode, turn e rotary button to navigate rough e available DAB channels.
First press e ‘TUNE’ button, and turn e rotary dial to select a channel from e list,
press e <SCROLL/SELECT> dial to confirm.
3. Short press e <INFO> button for more information about your DAB station.

- PTY (Programme Type)

4. For additional settings in DAB radio mode, press and hold e <MENU / INFO>
button. Once an option is displayed, let go of e <MENU / INFO> button. Turn e
rotary dial to select any of e following choices and press e <SCROLL/SELECT>
dial to confirm.
To access ese options your radio must be switched “ON”. If your radio is not ON,
press e Power button to switch it ON.

ull Scan: Automatic channel search of all available channels.
You can use is function to refresh your channel list or to scan for new
available stations.
Press and hold e <MENU / INFO> button, release once an option is
available on e screen. Turn e rotary dial to select ‘Full scan’ and press
once to confirm. Your radio will start scanning now.

anual tune: Frequencies can be manually selected
As well as e normal meod of scanning, you can also manually tune to a
particular channel/frequency. This can be useful for adjusting your antenna to
achieve e best possible reception and scanning a particular channel to
update e station list.
Press and hold e <MENU / INFO> button, release once an option is
available on e screen. Turn e rotary dial to select ‘Manual tune’ and press
once to confirm. Then turn e rotary dial again to select a particular
frequency option and press <SCROLL/SELECT> button to confirm.

RC (Dynamic Range Control): Adjust and change e dynamic range
This function reduces e difference between e loudest and quietest audio
being broadcast. Effectively, is makes quiet sounds comparatively louder
and loud sounds comparatively quieter.
Press and hold e <MENU / INFO> button, release once an option is
available on e screen. Turn e rotary dial to select ‘DRC’ and press once to
confirm. Then turn e rotary dial again to select <off (default) / high / low>
and press <SCROLL/SELECT> dial to confirm.
Note: DRC only works if it is enabled by e broadcaster for a specific station.
DRC is not broadcast or enabled in Australia.

This removes all invalid station indicated in e station list wi a ‘?’ in front of
e station name.
Note: Invalid stations are stations at are eier no longer available because
you have moved to a new area or e station no longer exists and may have
gone out of service.
Press and hold e <MENU / INFO> button, release once an option is
available on e screen. Turn e rotary dial to select ‘Prune’ and press once
to confirm. Then turn e rotary button again to select <Yes> and press
<SCROLL/SELECT> dial to confirm.
This allows you to tailor e DAB/FM radio wi a variety of options to suit you.
1. Press <POWER> to turn on. And press e <MODE> button to select FM on e
display.
2. Press e <TUNE> button and turn e rotary dial to search rough e entire
frequency band, en press <SCROLL/SELECT> dial to confirm.
Or for an automatic search, press and hold down <SCROLL/SELECT> dial for a
short period until e scan starts, en release. The radio will keep on searching
and stop on an available station. Repeat to move e next available station.
3. Short press e <INFO> button for more information about your FM station.

4. For additional settings in FM radio mode, press and hold e <MENU / INFO>
button, release once an option is available on e screen. Turn e rotary dial to
select e following options and press to confirm.

available on e screen. Turn e rotary button to select ‘Audio setting’ and
press once to confirm. Then select ‘Stereo allowed’ or Forced mono’ and
press <SCROLL/SELECT> dial to confirm.
This mode allows you to use e radio as a speaker for an external device (e.g. mobile
phone, MP3 player or tablet).
Press e Power button to turn your unit ON.
Press e <MODE> button several times until ‘Auxiliary Input’ is shown on e display.
The device is now in AUX IN mode.
1. Connect your external device to e back socket at e radio.
2. Play a track on your external device to hear sound.
3. Use e volume dial on e radio to adjust e volume accordingly.
Note: You may need to adjust sound on your external device as required.

The digital clock radio has 2 alarm functions at can be activated togeer for 2
different alarm settings (Alarm 1 and Alarm 2) or you may wish to activate one alarm
at a time. Once an alarm is activated you will find e alarm icons displayed on e front
display. Note at you have approximately 60 seconds between each selection before
e alarm is automatically cancelled by e clock radio and you have to start again.
1. Turn ON your digital clock radio.
2. Press e <ALARM> button to select alarm 1 or press e <Alarm> button again
to select Alarm 2. Press <SCROLL/SELECT>.
3. Use e rotary dial to select alarm “On” or “Off”, press e <SCROLL/SELECT>
dial to confirm your selection.
4. The clock radio will display e time screen and e hour part will flash. Turn e
rotary button to set e hour for your alarm, en press <SCROLL/SELECT> to
confirm.
5. Next e Minute part will flash. Turn e rotary button to set e minute for e
alarm, en press <SCROLL/SELECT> to confirm.
Note: If your time is set to 24hr mode in e menu settings move straight to point
6. However if your time is set to 12hr mode(AM/PM) you will need to turn e
rotary button to select e desired preference, en press <SCROLL/SELECT> to
confirm.
6. Use e rotary dial to set e duration of how long you would like e alarm to
stay on before it automatically turns off. The options are 15/30/45/60/90/120
minutes, en press <SCROLL/SELECT> to confirm.
7. The “source” function allows you to select what sound will be emitted when e
alarm is activated. Turn e rotary dial to select between BUZZER/DAB/FM, en
press <SCROLL/SELECT> to confirm.
Note: If you select DAB or FM in e source mode radio will display an option of
“Last listened” or any preset stations if you have em set. You can wake up to
e last listened to radio station if at is what is selected or you can select a
preset station to wake up to if you have ese previously set.

8. The alarm frequency option allows you to select when you would like e alarm
to repeat, options are DAILY/ONCE/WEEKENDS/WEEKDAYS. Use e rotary dial
to select e desired frequency, en press <SCROLL/SELECT> to confirm. Note
at a “ONCE” selection will prompt you to enter your desired date of when e
alarm needs to be activated.
9. The final step will display a bar graph of how loud you would like e alarm to
sound when activated. The alarm is incremental and will reach e desired volume
set. Use e rotary button to select e desired volume, en press
<SCROLL/SELECT> to confirm.
10. The clock radio will display “Alarm Saved” and e icon will be displayed on e
front screen.
Note: During e process of e alarm setting, pressing e alarm button once will
exit e alarm setup. You may also press e <BACK> button to move back
rough e settings if a change needs to be made.
This function allows you to turn off/on individual alarms wi a simple press of a button.
1. Press e <POWER> button to switch off e clock radio – Standby mode
2. Press e <ALARMS> button. Wi each press you can select between (Alarm
1:On & Alarm 2:On) / (Alarm 1:Off & Alarm 2:Off) / (Alarm 1:On & Alarm 2:Off) /
(Alarm 1:Off & Alarm 2:On)
3. Select your desired function and en press <SCROLL/SELECT> to confirm.
You can stop e alarm by pressing e <ALARM> or <POWER> button. The screen
will show “ALARM OFF”. The radio will go to standby mode.
Press e <SNOOZE> button when e alarm has sounded. This will display e
snooze time. The snooze time can be set to 5, 10, 15 or 30 minutes, wi each press
of e snooze button. The alarm icon will continue to flash. The screen will show a
countdown.
When e radio alarm starts sounding again, you can press e <ALARM> or e
<POWER> button to stop it or you can press e <SNOOZE> button to set e snooze
time again.

Your radio can store up to 10 DAB+ and 10 FM radio stations in its preset memory for
instant access to your favorite stations.
Note: When you store DAB+ preset stations, ese do not overwrite your FM station
presets.
1. Tune e radio to e station you want to store. Press and hold e <PRESET>
button. Once “Preset Sore” is displayed, release e button.
2. Turn e rotary dial to select e number where you want to save e station to
(1-10).
3. Press e <SCROLL/SELECT> dial to lock in e selection.
1. Press e <PRESET> button to retrieve e preset list.
2. Turn e rotary dial until you have found e preset number you are looking for.
3. Press <SCROLL/SELECT> to retune e radio to e selected radio station.
Note: If you choose a preset at has not been stored, “(Empty)” will be shown on
e LCD display.

can press and hold e <MENU / INFO> button. Turn e rotary button to select e
following choices and press e <SCROLL/SELECT> button to confirm.

1. Press and hold e <MENU / INFO> button, release once an option is available.
Using e rotary dial go to ‘System’ in e display and press <SCROLL/SELECT>.
2. Scroll rough e ‘System’ menu and turn e rotary dial until you reach ‘Equalizer’
and confirm by pressing e <SCROLL/SELECT> button.
Available equalizer settings are:
i) Normal, Classic, Jazz, Pop, Rock, Speech
a) Select e desired equalizer setting using e rotary dia.
b) Press e <SCROLL/SELECT> dial to lock in your setting.

a) To adjust treble, turn e rotary dial to select from ‘-7’ to ‘+7’, press select
to lock in your treble setting.
b) To adjust bass, turn e rotary dial to select ‘-7’ to ‘+7’, press select to lock
in your treble setting.
c) To adjust loudness, turn e rotary dial to select ‘Yes’ or ‘No’, press e
<SCROLL/SELECT> dial to lock in your setting.
3. Once you are finished, press e <BACK> button several times to exit settings
mode.

-Set 12/24 hour mode: Use is menu to change e clock from 12 to 24 hours
display.
Select ‘Set 12/24 hours’ and press e <SCROLL/SELECT> dial to open e menu.
Use e <SCROLL/SELECT> dial to select from ‘Set 12 hour’ or ‘Set 24 hour’ [using
e rotary dial, press e dial in to confirm]
-Auto update: Use is menu to select e source e time will automatically be
updated from.
Select ‘Auto update’ and press e <SCROLL/SELECT> dial to open e menu. Use
e <SCROLL/SELECT> dial to select from Update from any / Update from DAB+ /
Update from FM / No update. Use e rotary dial to select e setting you want to
use en press e dial in to confirm.
-Set date format: Use is menu to change e layout of e date format.
Select date format and press e <SCROLL/SELECT> dial to open e menu. Use
e <SCROLL/SELECT> dial to select from DD-MM YYYY or MM-DD-YYYY using
e rotary dial, press e dial in to confirm.

-Set Time/Date: Select ‘Set Time/Date’ and press e <SCROLL/SELECT> dial to
open e menu. Use e rotary dial to set e hour en press e dial in to confirm.
Repeat e process for e minutes, day, mon and finally e year. Once “year”
has been entered, press e <SCROLL/SELECT> dial. The radio will display e time
and date you have entered on e front display.
4. Press e <BACK> button multiple times to exit settings mode.
Set e brightness at e screen in ‘Standby’ mode or ‘ON’ mode.
NOTE: While using e buttons and e dial on your radio e screen brightness will be
on maximum. Once no buttons are pressed and aer e set “Timeout” e radio will
revert to your preferred backlight level.
Press e power button to turn your radio ON.
1. Press and hold e <MENU / INFO> button, release once an option is available on
e display. Turn e rotary dial until ‘System’ appears in e display and confirm by
pressing <SCROLL/SELECT>.
2. Scroll rough e ‘System’ menu and turn e rotary button until you reach
‘Backlight’ and confirm by pressing e <SCROLL/SELECT> button.
3. You can set settings for ‘Timeout’, ‘On level’, ‘Dim level’
Timeout: This is e time aer which your screen will change brightness.
Turn e rotary dial, choose from below options and confirm by pressing e
<SCROLL/SELECT> button. Timeout options: On, 10, 20, 30, 45, 60, 90, 120, 180
sec
On level: This is e brightness level at will be displayed when e radio is “ON”.
There are five brightness options to e display, from ‘1’ (lowest) to ‘5’ (strongest).
Using rotary dial, choose between ‘1’ to ‘5’ and confirm by pressing e
<SCROLL/SELECT> button.
Dim level: This is e brightness level at will be displayed when e radio is “OFF” or
in Standby.
There are five brightness options to e display, from ‘1’ (lowest) to ‘5’ (strongest).
Using rotary button, choose between ‘1’ to ‘5’ and confirm by pressing e
<SCROLL/SELECT> button.
4. Press e <BACK> button multiple times to exit settings mode.

This section allows you to restore your radio to all original factory settings.
Press e power button to turn your radio ON.
1. Press and hold e <MENU / INFO> button, release once an option is available on
e display. Turning e rotary dial until ‘System’ appears in e display and confirm
by pressing <SCROLL/SELECT>.
2. Scroll rough e menu using e rotary dial until you reach ‘Factory Reset’ and
confirm by pressing <SCROLL/SELECT>.
3. Using e rotary button, choose <Yes> and confirm by pressing
<SCROLL/SELECT> to enter ‘Restarting …’. Aer which e radio will perform a
reset and restart.
Note: Factory reset will erase all station lists, setting and station presets previously
stored.
You can check e current soware version here.

1. Press and hold e <MENU / INFO> button, release once an option is available on
e display. Turning e rotary dial until ‘System’ appears in e display and confirm
by pressing <SCROLL/SELECT>.
2. Scroll rough e menu using e rotary dial until you reach ‘SW version’ and
confirm by pressing <SCROLL/SELECT>.
This will display e correct version of soware on your product.
Note: This soware version is only used by Bush customer service and repair workshops.

Unable to pair wi a Bluetoo
device
- Check at your radio is in Bluetoo mode, check
at ‘Bluetoo’ is displayed and also ensure at e
device you are trying to pair has Bluetoo switched
on.
- Ensure at you are wiin range of e radio for
Bluetoo functionality (less an 10 meters, line of
sight).
- Ensure at any previously ‘paired’ devices have
been disconnected.
- If possible, turn off oer nearby Bluetoo devices
or disable eir Bluetoo functionality.
No Sound
Adjust e volume using e rotary control.
- You may have headphones connected. Eier use
e headphones to listen to your radio or unplug e
headphones.
- Check at e mains power lead is connected at
e back of e radio and e mains power wall
socket is switched on.
- You may need to re-scan if e station you last
listened to is no longer available.

THE ENCLOSED TERMS AND CONDITIONS RELATE TO THE WARRANTY PROVIDED BY RICHTER
AUDIO PTY LTD (“Richter Audio”) (ABN 22 613 067 815) products purchased within Australia.
This warranty applies for a period of 1 Year (12 months) from the date of purchase (“Warranty Period”)
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF STANDARD WARRANTY
1 Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to
a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the
failure does not amount to a major failure.
2 e benets to the consumer given by this Warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies of the consumer
under a law in relation to goods or services to which the warranty relates, being the Australian Consumer Law.
3 Subject to Clause 1 above and the terms below, as your Standard Warranty, Richter Audio agrees to repair or replace
at cost the Richter product, and any accessory supplied with the product, purchased by you in Australia when the
product does not perform in accordance with the manufacturer’s specications during the Warranty period.
4 To make a claim under the Standard Warranty you will need to:
(a) Contact Richter Audio through our website www.richter.com.au for customer support.
(b) Refund or replacement via your Richter Audio’s Authorised Retailer is available for a period of 14 days aer
purchase for goods that have been inspected and determined to have a major failure. Refund and exchange is not
applicable if you change your mind aer purchase.
(c) Note that you will need to submit proof of purchase (e.g. delivery invoice, invoice or purchase receipt)with your
claim.
5 Products presented for repair may be replaced by refurbished products of the same type rather than being repaired.
Refurbished parts may be used to repair the products. Replacement of the product or a part does not extend or
restart the Warranty Period.
6 If the product presented for repair is capable of retaining user-generated data, you are advised that repair of the
product may result in loss of the data. Richter Audio shall not be held responsible for any loss of such data as a
consequence of fault-nd or repair process.
7 e product will be at the owner’s risk whilst in transit to and from the Richter Audio Service Centre, unless
transported by Richter Audio or 3rd party transport booked by Richter Audio.
8 Richter Audio will bear the expense of transport where transported by Richter Audio. Any other expense of
claiming the warranty will be covered by the owner of the goods.
9 Richter Audio may seek reimbursement of any costs incurred by them when the product is found to be in good
working order. e owner of the goods will cover any return transport cost.
10 Products returned to Richter Audio by a courier and are damaged in transit by insucient packing will be quoted
and the cost of the repair will be covered by the owner of the goods.
EXCLUSIONS AND LIMITATIONS
11 Subject always to Clause 1 the Standard Warranty will not apply:
(a) if the product has not been installed, operated, maintained or used in accordance with the manufacturer’s
instructions or specications provided with the product.
(b) to damage, malfunction or failure resulting from alterations, accident, misuse, abuse, re, liquid
spillage, mis-adjustment of customer controls, use on an incorrect voltage, power surges and dips, thunderstorm
activity, acts of God, voltage supply problems, tampering or unauthorised repairs by any persons, use of defective
or incompatible accessories, the operation of a computer virus of any kind, exposure to abnormally corrosive
conditions or entry by any insect, vermin or foreign object in the product.
(c)to damage arising during transportation, installation or while moving the product, or to any transportation costs
of the product or any parts thereof to and from the owner, unless otherwise specied in this Warranty.
(d) to any third-party soware or hardware not contained in the product as originally congured by the
manufacturer.
(e) to any failure, to the extent that the failure is not a failure of the product to perform in accordance with its
specications.
