INTRODUCTION
Congratulations on your purchase of the IMPECCA MP-
1825/1845 Digital Media Player. Before using your digital
media player, please read through this manual. The
manual will help you use many of the exciting and useful
features of the IMPECCA MP-1825/1845 Digital Media
Player.
Due to constant production improvement, the MP3
player that you have purchased might be slightly
different than the one described in this manual.

TIPSFollow these tips to keep your Digital Media Player
working for a long time:
1. Do not recharge for longer than 3 hours
2. Do not hang the player by its earphones

3. Do not allow young children to use your
player unsupervised
4. Never force any connectors into the
ports of your player or computer. Make sure your
connectors are identical shape and size before you
connect.
Warning
Do not use this player in extreme temperatures. Keep
away from extra-hot, extra-cold, and extra-dry areas.
Also keep away from water, fire, and radiation.
Do not disassemble your digital media player.
When disconnecting your digital media player from a
computer, use the Safely Remove Device function on
your computer. Do not disconnect your digital media
player while transmitting data.

Do not install foreign software onto your digital media
player. Additionally, the software for this player cannot
be used on other players.
Only use the enclosed adaptor to charge your battery.
Permanent hearing damage or hearing loss may
occur if earphones are used at a high volume. Hearing
experts advise against continuously listening to music at
a high volume. If you hear a “hiss” in your ears, lower the
volume, or stop listening.

Battery
When the battery is fully charged, the battery icon
will look like this.
When battery power is low, the battery icon will
look like this.
Basic Functions
Power ON/OFF
Press and hold “
” button to turn the MP3 player
on.
While the MP3 is playing, press and hold the “
”
button to turn the MP3 player off.
Menu
Press “Menu” to access the main menu.

Use the left and right arrows to toggle between
Music, Movie, Record, Voice, FM Radio, Photo,
Setup, E-book, and Game modes. Press “Menu” to
enter a mode.
Volume
Press “”
Press “NEXT/” to increase volume.
Press “PRE/” to decrease volume.
Recharging your battery
Connect one end of the enclosed USB cable to the
MP3 player, and the other end to the adaptor.
Connect the adaptor to an electrical outlet. The
icon will begin to blink, and the player will begin to
recharge.
The battery can also be recharged by using the USB
cable to connect to a computer. While connected to

a computer, your Digital Media Player will charge.
Charging will automatically stop once the battery is
full.
How to Add Media to your Digital Media
Player
1. Connect one end of the enclosed USB cable to a
computer. Connect the other end to your Digital
Media Player.
If properly connected, the display on your MP3
player will look like this:

2. Your computer should automatically recognize
your MP3 player. If not, double click the My
Computer icon on your desktop, and navigate to
the Removable Disk that is your MP3 player. On a
Mac, double click the Removable Disk icon on
your desktop that is your MP3 player.
3. Copy and paste music/picture/video files into the
folder of your MP3 player.
4. When you are done, make sure to safely remove your
Digital Media Player. If you are using a Windows PC,
you can eject your Digital Media Player by clicking the
Safely Remove Hardware icon in the Windows System
tray, and selecting your Digital Media Player. If you
are using a Mac, you can eject your Digital Media
Player by dragging its icon to the trash.
When ready to disconnect your Digital Media

Player, make sure that it is safely removed in order
to avoid data corruption.
Playing Music
1. Connect your earphones.
2. Press the “
” button for 2
seconds to turn your MP3
player on.
3. Use the main menu to access
Music Mode, and then press
“M” button to confirm. Once in
Music Mode, press “
” to
playback the music.
4. To select music: Press the”
” button to select
the next file,”
” to select the previous file.

Equalizer Settings
1. Navigate to Music Mode.
Press “Play/Pause” to play
music.

Repeat Mode (Playback submenu)
During music playback, press the “M” button to enter the
music submenu, and then press the “M” button again to
select one of the following options. (To confirm, press
“M”):

REPEAT
(Normal) Playback songs one after another. Stop
when all songs are finished playing.
(Repeat One) Repeat one song.
(Folder) Play all songs in selected folder.
(Repeat Folder) Repeat all songs in selected folder.
(Repeat All) Repeat all songs in the MP3 player.
SHUFFLE
(Random) Play all songs at random.
(INTRO)
(Preview, Intro) Play first 10 seconds of each song in
selected folder
Playback speed
During music playback (only for the MP3 files), it is
possible to choose different playback speeds. The
volume will not change.
1. During music playback,press the “M” button.

rate” menu.
3. Press the “M” button to enter the “Tempo
rate” submenu.

Note: The Tempo rate will be saved in the MP3
player memory until reset
Watching Videos
1. Select Movie Mode from the
main menu.
2. Once in Movie Mode, press
“Play/Pause” to play back video.
3. “Previous/Next” takes you to
the previous or next video.
4. Press “Play/Pause” during playback to stop
video.

5. When video is stopped, press “Menu” to access
the Movie Submenu. In the Movie Submenu, you
can use “Local Folder” to choose a video file,
“Delete” and “Delete all” to delete videos, and
“Repeat” to select a Repeat mode.
*This Digital Media Player can play *.AMV video files.
Voice Recording
This Digital Media Player can hold
up to 99-recorded files.
• How to record
1. Select Record Mode from the
Main Menu.
2. Press “Play/Pause” to start recording.
3. Press “Play/Pause” to pause recording. While
paused, the time-code will flash.
4. Press and hold “Play/Pause” to stop and save
recording.

Please note:
A recorded file can be saved either in the root
directory or in the sub-directory.
If “Disk full” displays on the screen, it means that
there is not enough space to save the recorded file.
You can delete files to make more room.
If “Directory full” displays on the screen, it means
that the directory you are trying to save to already
has 99 files. Save the recorded file to another
directory.
While recording, only the
“Play/Pause” button can be used.
• Select a recording type
1. Press “Menu” to go to the
Record submenu. Choose REC
type from the submenu, and press
“Menu” to confirm.

2. Press the “
” button to select the record type and
the “Menu” button to confirm the choice:
: Fine Rec. WAV file format. Best sound
quality (bigger file)
: Long Rec. ACT file format. Average sound
quality, (smaller file)
3. Press the “Play/Pause” button to
start recording.
• Play back a recorded file
1. Select Voice from the main menu.
2. Press the “Menu” button to enter the
submenu. Use the Menu Button and
the arrow keys to choose the
recorded file that you want to play back. When you
find the file that you want to listen to, press the
“Menu” button to confirm.
3. Press the “Play/Pause” button to start playback.
