access to TV channels, radio stations and podcasts from all over the world via internet connection.
To maximize your enjoyment of this product, please read this manual carefully – it contains
important information on how to use your LookeeTV device effectively.

About Product 2
2.1 Product Description
LookeeTV is a revolutionary HD Internet Media Player that allows you to stream
and enjoy over 2,000 internet TV channels and 30,000 radio stations from 90 countries
in over 65 different languages.
The device operates by connecting to your Wi-Fi or Ethernet internet connection at home,
the office, or any Wi-Fi hotspot. A dedicated server redirects all of your favorite online TV
and radio stations right to your LookeeTV device, so no PC is required. This vast amount
of content is conveniently categorized and displayed based on language, region, and
genre. As long as you have access to the internet, you are ready to enjoy limitless access
to a world of media. The content is always refreshed with instantaneous updates of new
movies, news, TV shows, music, sports, and entertainment from select content partners
LookeeTV seamlessly syncs and integrates with up to five other devices in your home
wireless network, using the new LookeeTV SmartController™function. Now you can
control and push media content to your LookeeTV from a wide variety of platforms
running iOS, Windows, Android, or Linux. This can include HD movies from home media
server or PC, or your favorite music from your iPhone®
All LookeeTV HD models feature TV-out and HDTV-out functions, enabling you to enjoy
your LookeeTV media content with stunning, high quality video and digital audio right on
your television at 720p resolution.
LookeeTV’s technological capabilities can partner with any online video, audio or photo
source. Because of this, the sheer quantity and diversity of content continues to evolve,
meaning more movies, more TV shows, and more digital music for you to enjoy.

Getting Started 3
3.1 Locations of Controls on the Main Unit-Top
MENU:Press once to go back to the
previous directory or sub directory.
Hold for about 3 seconds to go to the
main menu.
POWER: Hold for two to three (2-3)
seconds to turn power ON/OFF. Press
to activate/deactivate low light sleep
mode when LookeeTV is on.
UP/ VOL+: Scroll up or increase the volume
DOWN / VOL-: Scroll down or decrease the volume.
LEFT: Press for previous track/menu; hold for fast backward during media playing.
RIGHT: Press to the next track/menu; hold for fast forward during media playing.
ENTER:Press to confirm your selection. Also used to switch the screen display mode.

3.4 Understanding the Controls on the Remote Control
1. POWER on/off. When LookeeTV is on, button is pressed to activate/deactivate low
light sleep mode. NOTE: to turn power on/off completely, press and hold power
button on LookeeTV device for two (2) seconds.

4.1 Start Menu
After plugging in your LookeeTV device, press the POWER button on the unit for two (2) seconds
to turn it on. After the LookeeTV logo page, you will be brought to the main menu as seen below.
Use the directional buttons and select options. Press ENTER to go to the menu you want.
4.2 Connect to the Internet through Wi-Fi or Network Cable
Note: You will need access to a functioning wireless network in order to use this feature.
1: Press the NETWORK button or Select Settings > Network Settings > Wi-Fi Setup > Auto
Search. (The ‘>’ indicates options leading to further menus.) The Auto Search system will
automatically search all available Wi-Fi networks within range.Once the available networks are
found, these will be listed as they are in the following image.

1a: Two types of network:
Encrypted network: Show a “lock” icon and a password is required for access to the
network.
Unencrypted network: There’s no “lock” icon and a password is not required for access to
the network.
Use the directional buttons on your remote control or unit to select a network and press ENTER
to connect. The LookeeTV will automatically connect if an unencrypted network is selected. If an
encrypted network is selected, you will be prompted to enter the password (assigned by the
administrator of the network). Use the directional buttons, and ENTER on the remote control or
the unit to enter the password and select OK to connect.

If the system is successfully connected to the selected network, a notification will show “Wi-Fi
Connected Successfully”; otherwise “Wi-Fi Password Invalid” will appear. Please ensure you
selected the correct network, and have the correct password, and try again. If a “Wi-Fi
Connection time out” notification appears, please try to connect again.
Note: This device supports 3 protocols: Static IP, DHCP and PPoE. DHCP is the default protocol to
be used by the system automatically. Please verify your network settings and confirm which
protocol is being used – you will need to manually connect your LookeeTV unit to the network if
Static IP or PPoE is in use.
2: Connecting via a Network Cable
Ensure that a network cable is properly connecting the LookeeTV device to your router or modem.
Next, press the NETWORK button on your remote or Select Settings > Network Settings >
Network Types > Cable. (The ‘>’ indicates options leading to further menus.) If the network cable
is properly connected, the LookeeTV device will automatically connect to the internet.
Once your LookeeTV successfully connects to the internet it will require a Firmware
update. These updates happen periodically, and they ensure your device is functioning
properly and offering you the latest features and content. When a new firmware
update is released, your LookeeTV will display the prompt, “A new version of firmware
is available. Would you like to update it now? Yes (Enter) or No (Exit).” If you click
ENTER, the product will download and upgrade automatically.
4.3 Lookee TV
When you select Lookee TV on the main menu, your LookeeTV connects to an internet portal and
provides a list of TV channels. These channels are organized based on region, genre, and language.
Use the directional buttons, and ENTER on the remote control or the main unit to choose different
channels.
Countries & Regions: Sort by Countries & Regions
Genres: Sort by Drama, Movie, Music, Sport, Animation…
Languages: Sort by broadcasting languages
Search: Enter keywords to search

My Favorites: Press FAV on the remote control to store a playing station under “My
Favorites”

You can switch the program to different screen modes: Full screen, Original and Video Player mode
by
1) Pressing ENTER on the main unit.
2) Pressing ENTER OR FULL SCREEN on the remote control.

Other instructions:
UP/DOWN or VOL+/VOL-: Adjust the volume +/-
LEFT/RIGHT: Go to the next/previous channel
STOP/EXIT: Exit from the current playing channel and go back to the Lookee TV Menu
4.4 Lookee Radio
When you select Lookee Radio mode, it connects to the Internet portal and provides a list of Radio
stations, organized into different categories such as location, genre, and language. Use the
directional buttons, and ENTER on the remote control or the main unit to choose different stations.
The Lookee Radio option functions similarly to the Lookee TV option.

4.5 Revision3
Revision3 has emerged as a leading online video network that has attracted top internet
video talent and partners. They produce and distribute all-original weekly and daily
episodic community-driven programs that are enjoyed by a vast and passionate fan
base. The shows are offered in 100% HD, and run from under a minute to over an hour.
LookeeTV brings all of this great content right to you with the official Revision3 app.
4.6 Inmoo
Gain access to original content from 100 countries in more than 60 languages. This
includes thousands of films ranging from comedy and drama to documentaries. Inmoo is
reshaping the way independent movies are being distributed, and now you can take part
simply by watching it happen right on your LookeeTV.
4.7 Blubrry
The Blubrry app on LookeeTV enables access to a large assortment of video and audio
podcasts from creative individuals. Access thousands of popular podcasts that are easy
to navigate and feature content based on topics like business, art, culture, education,
comedy, sports, gaming, and more.
4.8 UrLlama
The UrLlama app on LookeeTV lets you find high quality live music streams based on
genres, artists, and countries of origin. This app allows the listener to immediately
receive intelligent recommendations for new audio tracks. Some popular genres include
80’s, Alternative, Dance, Electronica, Rock, Pop, and many more. Some artists you can
search for are The Beatles, Michael Jackson, Elvis Presley, Madonna, U2, and other big
names. You can also search for streams from over 50 countries.
4.9 LookeeSound
Powered by the renowned SoundCloud audio distribution platform, LookeeSound allows
you free access to original music from established and up-and-coming artists from all
over the world. Collaborate, record, upload, promote and share the sounds you create
with the world’s largest community of sound creators on the planet.

4.10 SHOUTcast
The SHOUTcast internet radio app offer thousands of internet radio stations from all over the world.
The programs and playlists are continuously updated and refreshed as well.
Use the directional buttons and press ENTER on the remote control or the main unit to choose
different stations.
4.11 LookeeTV SmartController™ Technology
LookeeTV devices can seamlessly integrate and sync up with up to five (5) other devices
within the same wireless network using your iPhone®. Now you can control and push
media content to the LookeeTV device from a wide variety of platforms running iOS,
Windows, Android, or Linux. This can include HD movies from your home media server or
PC, or your favorite music from your iPhone®
To control your LookeeTV using an Android smart phone or tablet please go to the
Android Marketplace and download LookeePlayer to your Android device. If you are
using the iPhone® or iPad® to control your LookeeTV, please go to the App Store to
download PlugPlayer. When you open up these apps, you will see your LookeeTV device
in the Renderer List. Now you can wirelessly control what media you play within your
wireless network.
4.12 Podcast
You can view programs stored by Podcast publishers and sort them by genre. Use the directional
buttons, and ENTER on the remote control or the main unit to choose different stations. Please

refer to the Lookee TV mode instructions at 4.3.
4.13 Media Player
1) Playing Video/Music/Picture Files from the Local Disk (Built-in Memory)
The LookeeTV Desktop unit comes with built-in memory. You can transfer the data between this
unit and your computer via a USB cable. When you first connect your device to your computer,
please format your Local Disk by doing the following:
1. Connect the LookeeTV Desktop to your computer via USB
cable.
2. Turn on the LookeeTV unit and it will be recognized by your
computer. Double click on the icon and a pop up window will
ask you whether to format the disk. (ONLY for the first time)
3: Press YES to format the disk and a window prompt will pop
up as below:
Capacity: Currently Available built-in memory
File System: FAT32 (Recommended), FAT, exFAT
Allocation Unit Size: Choose “Default allocation unit”

Volume Label: Use to label the drive (optional)
Quick Format: Recommend to use
Press Start to format and it should only take about 3-5 seconds to finish.
Once the formatting is complete, a pop up window will indicate “Format complete” and your
LookeeTV device will be ready for data transfer from your PC.
4: Go to Main Menu > Media Player > Disk (As depicted below)
Press ENTER to select Local Disk. There will be three folders: Video, Music and Picture.
Use the directional buttons on the remote control or the main unit and press ENTER to choose and
select an option. Below is an example of a playlist in the media player.

Press UP/DOWN to select the songs and press ENTER to play.
Other instructions:
LEFT/RIGHT: Select the previous/next song; hold for fast backward/forward.
VOL-/VOL+:Adjust the volume
EXIT: Exit from the current music playing mode. Once it’s selected, a prompt, “Turn Off
Music” appears. Press YES to exit and stop playing music, or NO to exit to leave music
on as background music.
STOP: Quit music playing mode including background music.
2) Playing Video/Music/Picture Files from SD Card
Insert the SD card into the SD card slot at the rear of the LookeeTV unit (3.2).
Go to Main Menu > Media Player > SD Card to play your stored Video/Music/Picture files.
4.14 UPnP File Sharing–Stream Video/Music/Picture from PC
The Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) function allows you to stream video, music, and picture files
wirelessly from your computer or UPnP Server in your local home/office network directly to your
LookeeTV. By proxy, you may also stream to your home TV via the TV-out function. The following
steps will tell you how to setup your computer into a UPnP server:
1. Open Windows Media Player (Free to download online) and ensure it is up-to-date. (Version 11
is recommended).
2. Click “Library” on the top menu, and choose “Media Sharing”.

3. Click the “InternetRadio” icon and click “Allow” button to activate the sharing function. Press “OK”
to confirm the settings.
4. Go to Library > Add to Library and then Select “My folders and those of others that I can access”.
Then Click “Advanced Options” to choose the sharing folders.
