General
1. General
Complete counter-current and massage unit consisting of:
a double stream counter-current system with air regulator, adjustable-
power jets and handle. The jets can be manually switched to 2
Turbojets and a master jet in the seating area and a water torrent in the pool
wall. Modena 520 and 660 are fitted with 10 Microjets back and calf massage.
Here the Turbojet back jets are omitted. Pump rating 2 x 1.5 kW - 230 V, switched
from the control panel in the pool wall.
The Fun Pak is a multifunctional fixed location counter-current and massage
system for the private sector. The Fun Pak, as a standard feature, is delivered
completely pre-assembled in the pool. For this the RivieraPool foundation shaft
is required for the corresponding steps.
If, due to lack of space or building reasons, a RivieraPool foundation shaft
can not be used, the pumps can be installed when all the equip-
ment is onsite. In this case it is important that the Fun Pak
equipment must not, for any reason, be concreted in.The pumps are deliv-
ered separately.
The power region of the counter-current equipment is arranged for and average
breaststroke swimmer.
The water temperature for athletic activities in the swimming should not
exceed 28° C.

General
The Fun Pak, as a standard feature, is delivered completely pre-assembled in
the pool. For shipping reasons the visual shield, the jet inserts and the handles
are delivered loose, ready to be assembled onsite.
1.4.1 Electrical connection
2 separate connections 230 V pre-fuse: 16 amps
1.4.2 Sewer connection
Our foundation shafts are fitted, as standard, with a shaft drain (bonded
connector d 50).
Exception: swimming pools with a shower tray or filtration equipment
installed in the equipment shaft are additionally fitted
with a DN 100 sewer connection with 3 way d 50 distributor.
Stench trap onsite as necessary.

2. Installation and commissioning
1. Foundation shafts from serial production are not water proof. If ground-water
could rise above the level of the shaft floor, please request a ground-water
proof version from the factor (at additional cost).
2. Connect the shaft drain. Make sure that, where appropriate, multiple drains
will be joined together and a stench trap is installed onsite.
3. Connect aerator and humidity switch. Set humidity switch to 65 %. The
aerator must also run in winter, when the swimming pool is switched off.
4. Before doing the classing, lay the shaft cover. Leave sufficient space
between the kerbstones and the cover for rain to run off, cleaning and
movement of the covers.

2.2 Final assembly of the equipment
- Check for threaded screw and pipe connectors on the suction and pressure
sides, between pumps and jets and tighten as necessary, as they could have
loosened during transport.
- Mount handles.
- Plug in jet inserts and lock them in.
- Mount the jet holders.
- Mount the bezels.
- The pumps should be connected by a local specialist company approved
according to appropriate regulations (see circuit diagram, page 5).
2.3 Commissioning
Commissioning should only be carried out when the pool is full.
- Switch on the pumps by pressing the PN button.
- Switch off the pumps by pressing the PN button again.
the functions neck shower, back massage, counter-current swimming system
are selected by turning the corresponding jet insert. The corresponding
setting is confirmed by the jet insert latching lightly into place. To operate
the jet inserts switch off the pump.
- The power can be regulated by partially turning the jet insert.
- Air can be mixed into the counter-current swimming system by opening the
air regulator of the corresponding jet stream. All other jets are permanently
supplied with air.
Note:
The integrated water torrent of the Rimini stair equipment is designed to be
clad with kerbstones (corresponding adhesive is enclosed). The rotatable
jets do not regulate the individual functions in total isolation of one another.
The seals needed to achieve this would detract from the free movement when
turning the jets. Therefore a small stream of water will come out of all jets. The
rotatable jet that feed the neck torrent is fitted with an additional injector that
sucks water out of the neck shower. In this way, in the Jet function, there is
always some air in the jet stream.

Overwintering
5. Overwintering
The Fun Pak F 4 must be overwintered empty.
To do this:
- Unscrew the hair trap cover of the suction fittings.
- Unscrew the bezels of the jets and the floor geyser.
- Release the jet inserts in the massage jets by turning them anticlockwise
and withdrawing them from the jet element.
- Loosen the Z bracket of the counter current equipment and remove the
jets.
- Plug the overwintering stoppers delivered with the system into the
base of the jets and, when present, the floor geyser and spread them out.
- Open the clasps on the suction and pressure pipes of the massage pump.
- Open the residue drain screw on the massage pump.
- Open the residue drains on the water and air pipes.

Assembly notes for the diverter in the jet insert
- Loosen the Z-bracket and withdraw the jet insert from the jet bushing.
- Place the locking ring on the diverter and push them, together, into the jet
bushing, ensuring that the cranked diverter opening is centralised to the
middle outlet opening of the jet bushing.
- Attach the jet closers (made from transparent PVC pipe) and screw on the
locking ring, hand tighten. While doing this, ensure the diverter opening
does not move in the process.
- Insert the jet insert and screw on the Z-bracket. Try moving the jet to check
that the diverter moves easily and without sticking and that it locks into
and out of the other switch position.
