CAMERA SETUP GUIDELINES | GOPRO HERO9/10 WITH MEDIA MOD

Before you start
This walkthrough will help you ensure optimal
compatibility between your Wireless PRO or Wireless
GO II system and your camera, to ensure your audio
recordings are clear and clean.
You should connect your receiver to your computer,
start the RØDE Central app, and select the preset for
the GOPRO HERO9/10 WITH MEDIA MOD to ensure
the settings on your microphone match those for your
camera.
If you do not have access to RØDE Central, make sure
you manually set the gain on your receiver to -24dB
using the ‘dB’ button on the receiver.

Important information
While these settings have been designed to work well in
most situations, you should always check your levels
manually using the meters on your camera. If you are
recording unusually loud or quiet sounds, you may need
to adjust the recording level of your camera up or down
to get an optimal result.
NOTE: When using the Wireless GO II in very loud situations or with
Interview GO handheld adapter, we recommend activating the PAD
function in RØDE Central. (The advanced gain functionality in the
Wireless PRO means that a PAD is not required.)

Swipe from the left of the rear screen, and
select Video Mode

When back on main view, swipe down from top
of screen

Then swipe from the right, and tap
'Preferences'

Scroll down, and tap 'Mods'.

Along Media Mod line, tap microphone option.

Scroll down to and select 'Powered Mic'.
