Make sure there is easy access to the product for maintenance and
programming purposes.
Adequate ventilation is required –at least 50cm from adjacent surfaces.
The product should be plugged in directly to the mains without using dimmers.
Any fixture used must be capable of supporting the weight of the product and
must appropriate to the construction of the surface the product will be attached

AC Power:
The LED Shadow™ has an auto-ranging power supply and it can work with an input voltage
range of 100-240 VAC, 50/60 Hz. To determine the product’s power requirements (circuit
breaker, power outlet and wiring), use the current value listed on the label affixed to the
product or refer to the product specification chart. The listed current rating indicates the
product’s average current draw under normal conditions.
Always connect the product to a protected circuit (Circuit breaker or fuse). Make sure that
the product has an appropriate electrical ground to avoid the risk of electrocution or fire.
Never connect the product to a rheostat (variable resister) or dimmer circuit, even if the
rheostat or dimmer channel serves only as a 0 –100% switch.
Fuse Replacement:
Disconnect the product from the power outlet before replacing the fuse.
Wedge the tip of a flat-head screwdriver into the slot of the fuse holder.
Pry the fuse holder out of the housing.

other end.
Setting up a DMX Serial Link:
Connect the male 3 pin connector of the DMX cable to the female output 3 pin connector of
the controller.
Connect the end of the cable coming from the controller (which will have a female 3 pin
connector) to the input connector of the next fixture (a male 3 pin connector).
Repeat for further devices.

Standalone/Master-Slave Fixture Linking:
Connect the male 3 pin connector of the DMX cable to the female output 3 pin connector of
the first device.
Connect the end of the cable coming from the first device (which will have a female 3 pin

soft lint-free cloth or lens tissue. Apply the solution to the cloth and drag dirt to the
outside of the lens. Gently polish optical surfaces till they are clean and free of haze
and lint. Do not touch the glass with your hands during cleaning. Periodically clean
internal and external lenses and/or mirrors to optimize light output. Allow all parts
to dry properly. Clean external optics at least every 20 days. Clean internal optics at
least every 30 days.
