RECOMMENDATIONS AND SUGGESTIONS
The Instructions for Use apply to several versions of this appliance. Accordingly, you may find
descriptions of individual features that do not apply to your specific appliance.
INSTALLATION
• The manufacturer will not be held liable for any damages resulting from incorrect or improper
installation.
• The minimum safety distance between the cooker top and the extractor hood is 650 mm (some
models can be installed at a lower height, please refer to the paragraphs on working dimensions
and installation).
• Check that the mains voltage corresponds to that indicated on the rating plate fixed to the inside of
the hood.
• For Class I appliances, check that the domestic power supply guarantees adequate earthing.
Connect the extractor to the exhaust flue through a pipe of minimum diameter 120 mm. The route
of the flue must be as short as possible.
• Do not connect the extractor hood to exhaust ducts carrying combustion fumes (boilers, fireplaces,
etc.).
• If the extractor is used in conjunction with non-electrical appliances (e.g. gas burning appliances), a
sufficient degree of aeration must be guaranteed in the room in order to prevent the backflow of
exhaust gas. The kitchen must have an opening communicating directly with the open air in order
to guarantee the entry of clean air. When the cooker hood is used in conjunction with appliances
supplied with energy other than electric, the negative pressure in the room must not exceed 0,04
mbar to prevent fumes being drawn back into the room by the cooker hood.
• In the event of damage to the power cable, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or by the
technical service department, in order to prevent any risks.
• If the instructions for installation for the gas hob specify a greater distance specified above, this has
to be taken into account. Regulations concerning the discharge of air have to be fulfilled.
USE
• The extractor hood has been designed exclusively for domestic use to eliminate kitchen smells.
• Never use the hood for purposes other than for which it has been designed.
• Never leave high naked flames under the hood when it is in operation.
• Adjust the flame intensity to direct it onto the bottom of the pan only, making sure that it does not
engulf the sides.
• Deep fat fryers must be continuously monitored during use: overheated oil can burst into flames.
• Do not flambè under the range hood; risk of fire
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sen-
sory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given su-
pervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• “ CAUTION: Accessible parts may become hot when used with cooking appliances.”.
MAINTENANCE
• Switch off or unplug the appliance from the mains supply before carrying out any maintenance
work.
• Clean and/or replace the Filters after the specified time period (Fire hazard).
• Clean the hood using a damp cloth and a neutral liquid detergent.
The symbol on the product or on its packaging indicates that this product may not be treated as household waste. Instead it shall be handed over to the
applicable collection point for the recycling of electrical and electronic equipment. By ensuring this product is disposed of correctly, you will help prevent potential negative
consequences for the environment and human health, which could otherwise be caused by inappropriate waste handling of this product. For more detailed information
about recycling of this product, please contact your local city office, your household waste disposal service or the shop where you purchased the product.

As a first step, proceed with the following drawings:
• a vertical line up to the ceiling or up to the upper limit, at the centre of the area in which the
hood is to be fitted;
• a horizontal line at a minimum 788 mm above the cooker top.
• Mark a point (1) on the horizontal line, 164 mm to the right of the vertical reference line.
• Repeat this operation on the other side, checking that the two marks are levelled.
• Mark a reference point (2) as indicated at 140 mm from the vertical reference line and 540
mm above the cooker top.
• Repeat this operation on the other side, checking that the two marks are levelled.
• Drill at the marked points (1), using a ø 12 mm drill bit.
• Drill at the marked points (2) using a ø 8 mm drill bit.
• Insert the bracket plugs 11a into the holes (1) and tighten the screws.
• Insert plug 11 into holes (2).
To install a decorative chimney ( optional )
• Place bracket 7.2.1 on the wall, about 1-2 mm from the ceiling or from the upper limit,
aligning the centre (notch) with the vertical reference line.
• Mark the wall at the centres of the bracket holes.
• Place the bracket 7.2.1 on the wall at X mm below the first bracket (X = height of the upper
chimney section), aligning the centre (notch) with the vertical line.
• Mark the wall at the centres of the bracket holes.
• Drill ø 8 mm holes at all the marked centre points.
• Insert the wall plugs 11 in the holes.
• Fix the brackets using the 12a screws (4,2 x 44,4) supplied with the hood.

Fitting the hood body
• Open the doors/the door (See section Open Panels).
• Remove the Metal grease filters using the handles provided.
• Adjust the two screws Vr, in the brackets 11a, so that they are
at the start of their travel.
• Hook the hood body to the two brackets 11a.
• From the inside of the hood body, turn screws Vr to level the
hood body itself.
• Fasten the safety screw 12a.
• Close the doors/the door again.

Connections
DUCTED VERSION AIR EXHAUST SYSTEM
When installing the ducted version, connect the hood to the
chimney using either a flexible or rigid pipe ø 150 or 120 mm,
the choice of which is left to the installer.
• To install a ø 120 mm air exhaust connection, insert the re-
ducer flange 9on the hood body outlet.
• Fix the pipe in position using sufficient pipe clamps (not sup-
plied).
• Remove possible charcoal filters.

RECIRCULATION VERSION AIR OUTLET
To install the Recirculation Version of the hood, the optional Ac-
tivated charcoal cartridge kit must be purchased.
• Screw the filter cover onto the air outlet, using four screws 12c
(2.9 x 12.5).
• Fix the directional grille 8on the recirculation air outlet using
the 2 screws 12d (2,9 x 9,5) provided.

ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
• Connect the hood to the mains through a two-
pole switch having a contact gap of at least 3
mm.
• Remove the grease filters (see paragraph Main-
tenance) being sure that the connector of the
feeding cable is correctly inserted in the socket
placed on the side of the fan.
Flue assembly
The chimney can only be installed with exhaust-
ing hood
• Fasten the angle iron 15 to the hood canopy
using the screws 12d (2,9 x 9,5) provided.
Upper exhaust flue
• Slightly widen the two sides of the upper flue
and hook them behind the brackets 7.2.1, mak-
ing sure that they are well seated.
• Secure the sides to the brackets using the 4
screws 12c (2,9 x 6,5) supplied.
Lower exhaust flue
• Slightly widen the two sides of the flue and
hook them between the upper flue and the wall,
making sure that they are well seated.
• Fix the lower part laterally to the hood body
using the 2 screws 12c (2,9 x 6,5) supplied.
Screen Opening
Before carrying out any Use and Maintenance
operations, open the Screen.

USE
Control panel
Button Function Led
A Motor off. The Leds indicating the Speed of the motor turn off.
Enables / Disables Keyboard Lock mode if pressed
and held for 5 seconds. All the Leds light up in cycle and run a start-up sequence.
B Activates speed one. The Leds indicating Speed one and Motor Off turn on.
C Activates speed two. The Leds indicating Speed two and Motor Off turn on.
D Activates speed three. The Leds indicating Speed three and Motor Off turn on.
Press and hold the button for approximately 5
seconds, with all the loads turned off (Motor and
Lights), to turn the Activated Charcoal Filter alarm
on.
To turn it off, press and hold the button again for 5
seconds.
Button ALED flashes twice.
Button ALED flashes once.
E Activates speed four. The Leds indicating Speed four and Motor Off turn on.
Press and hold for 5 sec. to activate Intensive
speed. This speed is timed to run for 10 minutes. At
the end of this time the system will return to the
speed set previously.
It is disabled by pressing the Button or turning the
Motor off.
The Led flashes once a second and button ALed lights up.
F Starts the 24H function, in which the motor starts at
a speed that allows suction of 100 m3/h for 10
minutes per hour. This mode cannot be activated if
Intensive or Delay modes are active.
To deactivate it, press the same button or button A.
The Leds indicating 24H speed and Motor Off turn on.
24H Led Flashing:
Indicates the need to wash the metal grease filters. The alarm is
triggered after the Hood has been in operation for 100 working
hours.
When the filters alarm is triggered, the alarm can be
reset by pressing and holding this button for
approximately 5 seconds. These indications are
only visible when the motor is turned off.
The button ALed flashes three times
G Activates Delay mode, causing automatic
shutdown of the Motor and the Lighting system
with a 20’ delay.
It is disabled by pressing the button or turning the
motor off.
The Delay and Motor Off button Leds turn on.
Delay Led Flashing:
Indicates the need to change the activated charcoal filters, and
also to wash the metal grease filters. The alarm is triggered after
the Hood has been in operation for 200 working hours.
Pressing and holding the button for 5 seconds
enables the remote control.
Pressing and holding the button for 5 seconds
disables the remote control
Button ALed flashes twice.
Button ALed flashes once.
H Press briefly to turn the lighting system on and off
at maximum intensity. The Led on the button lights up.
Press and hold the button for 2 seconds to turn the
Courtesy Lights On (if provided). The Led on the button lights up.

REMOTE CONTROL (OPTIONAL)
The appliance can be controlled using a remote control powered
by a 1.5 V carbon-zinc alkaline batteries of the standard LR03-
AAA type (not included).
• Do not place the remote control near to heat sources.
• Used batteries must be disposed of in the proper manner.
Opening Panel
• Open the Panel by pulling it.
• Clean the outside with a damp cloth and neutral detergent.
• Clean the inside using a damp cloth and neutral detergent; do
not use wet cloths or sponges, or jets of water; do not use
abrasive substances.

MAINTENANCE
Metal grease filters
These can also be washed in the dishwasher, and need to be
cleaned whenever the 24H Led comes on or at least once every 2
months use, or more frequently if use is particularly intensive.
Resetting the alarm signal
• Turn the Lights and the Suction Motor off.
• Press and hold button (24H) for 5 seconds.
Cleaning the Filters
• Remove the Filters one at a time, pushing them towards the
back of the unit and at the same time pulling downward.
• Wash the Filters without bending them, and leave them to dry
completely before replacing. (If the surface of the filter
changes colour as time goes by, this will have absolutely no ef-
fect on the efficiency of the filter itself.)
• Replace, taking care to ensure that the handle faces forwards.

Activated Charcoal Filter (Recirculation Version)
The Activated Charcoal Filter is only present on the Hoods in Recirculation version, and has
the job of retaining smells in the flow of air that passes over it, until reaching saturation. This
cannot be washed or regenerated, and must be changed when the Delay led on the display
starts to flash, or at least once every 4 months. The Alarm signal, if it has been activated, only
appears when the Suction motor is turned on.
Activating the alarm signal
• In Recirculation Version Hoods, the Filter Saturation Alarm must be activated on
installation or at a later date.
• Turn the Lights and the Suction Motor off.
• Press button Duntil confirmation is given:
• Motor Off Leds flash twice – Activated Charcoal Filter saturation alarm ACTIVATED.
• Motor Off Leds flash once – Activated Charcoal Filter saturation alarm DEACTIVATED.
CHANGING THE ACTIVATED CHARCOAL FILTER
Resetting the alarm signal
• Turn the Lights and the Suction Motor off.
• Press and hold button F(24H) for 5 seconds.
Changing the Filter
• Remove the Metal grease filters.
• Remove the saturated Activated charcoal filter,
using the hooks provided.
• Fit the new Filter, hooking it into place.
• Replace the Metal grease filters.

Lighting unit
Warning: This appliance is fitted with a white LED lamp classed as 1M
according to EN 60825-1: 1994 + A1:2002 + A2:2001 standards; maxi-
mum optical power emitted @439nm: 7µW. Do not look directly at the
light through optical devices (binoculars, magnifying glasses…).

CONSEILS ET SUGGESTIONS
La présente notice d'emploi vaut pour plusieurs versions de l'appareil. Elle peut contenir des descriptions d'ac-
cessoires ne figurant pas dans votre appareil.
INSTALLATION
• Le fabricant décline toute responsabilité en cas de dommage dû à une installation non correcte ou non
conforme aux règles de l’art.
• La distance minimale de sécurité entre le plan de cuisson et la hotte doit être de 650 mm au moins (certains
modèles peuvent être installés à une hauteur inférieure : se reporter aux paragraphes « Encombrement » et
« Installation »).
• Vérifier que la tension du secteur correspond à la valeur qui figure sur la plaquette apposée à l’intérieur de la
hotte.
• Pour les Appareils appartenant à la Ière Classe, veiller à ce que la mise à la terre de l’installation électrique
domestique ait été effectuée conformément aux normes en vigueur.
• Connecter la hotte à la sortie d’air aspiré à l’aide d’une tuyauterie d’un diamètre égal ou supérieur à 120 mm. Le
parcours de la tuyauterie doit être le plus court possible.
• Ne pas connecter la hotte à des conduites d’évacuation de fumées issues d’une combustion tel que (Chau-
dière, cheminée, etc…).
• Si vous utilisez des appareils qui ne fonctionnent pas à l’électricité dans la pièce ou est installée la hotte (par
exemple: des appareils fonctionnant au gaz), vous devez prévoir une aération suffisante du milieu. Si la cuisine
en est dépourvue, pratiquez une ouverture qui communique avec l’extérieur pour garantir l’infiltration de l’air pur.
Pour un emploi correct et sans risque, la dépressionmaximum dans lapièce ne doit pas dépasser 0,04 mbar.
• En cas d’endommagement du cordon d’alimentation, faites-le remplacer par le constructeur ou par le service
après-vente, afin de prévenir tout risque.
• Si les instructions de montage pour la plaque de cuisson au gaz spécifient une plus grande distance indiquée ci-
dessus, cela doit être pris encompte. Règlement concernant l'évacuation d'air doivent êtreremplies..
UTILISATION
• La hotte a étéconçue exclusivement pour l’usage domestique, dans le but d’éliminer les odeursde la cuisine.
• Ne jamais utiliser abusivement lahotte.
• Ne pas laisser les flammes libres à forte intensité quand la hotte est en service.
• Toujours régler les flammes de manière à éviter toute sortie latérale de ces dernières par rapport au fond des
marmites.
• Contrôler les friteuses lors de l’utilisation car l’huile surchauffée pourrait s’enflammer.
• Ne pas préparer d’aliments flambés sous la hotte de cuisine : risque d’incendie
• Cet appareil ne doit pas être utilisé par des personnes (y compris les enfants) ayant des capacités psychiques,
sensorielles ou mentales réduites, ni par des personnes n’ayant pas l’expérience et la connaissance de ce type
d’appareils, à moins d'être sous le contrôle et la formation de personnes responsables de leur sécurité.
• Les enfants doivent être surveillés pour s'assurer qu'ils ne jouent pas avec l'appareil.
• « ATTENTION : Les parties accessibles peuvent devenir très chaudes si utilisées avec des appareils de cuis-
son. »
ENTRETIEN
• Avant de procéder à toute opération d’entretien, débrancher la hotte en retirant la fiche ou en actionnant
l’interrupteur général.
• Effectuer un entretien scrupuleux et en temps dû des Filtres, à la cadenceconseillée (Risque d’incendie).
• Pour le nettoyagedes surfaces de la hotte,il suffit d’utiliser un chiffon humide etdétersif liquide neutre.
Le symbole sur le produit ou son emballage indique que ce produit ne peut être traité comme déchet
ménager. Il doit plutôt être remis au point de ramassage concerné, se chargeant du recyclage du matériel
électrique et électronique. En vous assurant que ce produit est éliminé correctement, vous favorisez la pré-
vention des conséquences négatives pour l’environnement et la santé humaine qui, sinon, seraient le résultat
d’un traitement inapproprié des déchets de ce produit. Pour obtenir plus de détails sur le recyclage de ce
produit, veuillez prendre contact avec le bureau municipal de votre région, votre service d’élimination des
déchets ménagers ou le magasin où vous avez acheté le produit.

Perçage de la paroi et fixation des supports

Tracer sur la paroi :
• une ligne verticale jusqu’au plafond ou à la limite supérieure, au centre de la zone prévue pour le montage
de la hotte ;
• une ligne horizontale à 788 mm au-dessus du plan de cuisson.
• Marquer un point (1) sur la ligne horizontale à 164 mm à droite de la ligne verticale de référence.
• Répéter cette opération de l’autre côté et vérifier la mise à niveau.
• Marquer comme indiqué, un point de référence (2) à 140 mm de la ligne verticale de référence et 540 mm
au-dessus du plan de cuisson.
• Répéter cette opération de l’autre côté et vérifier la mise à niveau.
• Percer les points marqués (1) avec une mèche de ø 12 mm.
• Percer les points marqués (2) avec une mèche de ø 8 mm.
• Mettre les chevilles avec le support 11a dans les trous (1) et visser.
• Insérer les chevilles 11 dans les trous (2).
Pour installation avec cheminée décorative : (Option)
• Poser le support 7.2.1 comme indiqué, à 1-2 mm du plafond ou de la limite supérieure, en alignant le centre
(encoches) sur la ligne verticale de référence.
• Marquer les centres des trous du support.
• Faire reposer le support 7.2.1, comme indiqué, à X mm en dessous du premier support (X = hauteur de la
partie supérieure fournie), en alignant le centre (encoches) sur la ligne verticale de référence.
• Marquer les centres des trous du support.
• Percer les points marqués avec une mèche de ø 8 mm.
• Insérer les chevilles 11 dans les trous.
• Fixer les supports à l’aide des vis 12a (4,2 x 44,4) fournies.

Montage du corps de hotte
• Ouvrir les portes/la porte (Regard paragraphe Ouverture Panels).
• Retirer les Filtres à graisse en agissant sur les poignées appropriées.
• Placer les deux vis Vr, sur les équerres 11a sans les visser.
• Accrocher le corps de hotte aux 2 barres 11a.
• Agir sur les vis Vr de l’intérieur du corps de hotte pour en régler le
niveau.
• Visser les vis de sécurité 12a.
• Refermer les portes/la porte.

Branchements
SORTIE AIR VERSION ASPIRANTE
En cas d’installation en version aspirante, brancher la hotte à la tuyaute-
rie de sortie via un tube ri-gide ou flexible de ø 150 ou 120 mm, au
choix de l’installateur.
• En cas de branchement avec un tube de ø120 mm, insérer le flasque
de réduction 9sur la sortie du corps de la hotte.
• Fixer le tube par des colliers appropriés. Le matériau nécessaire n’est
pas fourni.
• Retirer les éventuels filtres anti-odeur au charbon actif.

SORTIE AIR VERSION FILTRANTE
Pour l’installation dans la Version Filtrante, il faut acheter le kit fourni
sur demande Cartouche au charbon actif.
• Visser le couvercle filtrant sur la sortie de l’air, en utilisant les quatre
vis 12c (2,9 x 6,5).
• Fixer la Grille orientée 8sur la sortie de l’air recyclé à l’aide de 2 Vis
12d (2,9 x 9,5) fournies avec l’appareil.

BRANCHEMENT ELECTRIQUE
• Brancher la hotte sur le secteur en interposant un
interrupteur bipolaire avec ouverture des contacts
d’au moins 3 mm.
• Enlever les filtres à graisse (voir § "Entretien") et
s'assurer que le connecteur du câble d'alimentation
soit bien branché dans la prise du diffuseur.
Montage Cheminée
La Cheminée peut être installée uniquement en version
aspirante
• Fixer la cornière 15 au corps de hotte avec le vis 12d
(2,9 x 9,5) fournies.
Cheminée supérieure
• Elargir légèrement les deux bords latériaux, et les
accrocher derrières les brides 7.2.1 ; refermer jus-
qu’à la butée.
• Fixer latéralement aux brides à l’aide des 4 vis 12c
fournies.
Cheminée inférieure
• Elargir légèrement les deux bords latériaux de la
Cheminée et les accrocher entre la Cheminée supé-
rieure et la paroi; refermer jusqu’à la butée.
• Fixer latéralement la partie inférieure au corps hotte,
à l’aide des deux 2 vis 12c fournies.
Ouverture visière
Avant toute opération d’usage et d’entretien, ouvrir
d’abord la visière.

Appuyer pendant 5 secondes pour activer/désactiver
le mode de verrouillage du clavier. Toutes les leds s’éclairent cycliquement et effectuent une séquence d’allumage.
B Active la première vitesse. Les leds de première vitesse et Off moteur s’éclairent.
C Active la deuxième vitesse. Les leds de deuxième vitesse et Off moteur s’éclairent.
D Active la troisième vitesse. Les leds de troisième vitesse et Off moteur s’éclairent.
Appuyer sur la touche pendant 5 secondes, lorsque
toutes les charges sont éteintes (Moteur+ Éclairage),
l’alarme des filtres à charbon actif se branche.
Pour la désactiver, appuyer de nouveau sur la touche
pendant encore 5 secondes.

E Active la quatrième vitesse. Les leds de quatrième vitesse et Off moteur s’éclairent.
Appuyer sur la touche pendant 5 secondes pour
activer la vitesse Intensive. Cette vitesse est
temporisée à 10 minutes. À la fin de ce délai, le
système retourne à la vitesse précédemment
programmée.
Pour la désactiver, appuyer sur cette même touche ou
éteindre le moteur.
La led clignote 1 fois par seconde et la led touche A est
allumée.
F Active la fonction 24H lorsque le moteur se branche à
une vitesse qui permet une aspiration de 100 m3/h
pendant 10 minutes par heure. Ce mode n’est pas
activable si le mode Intensive ou Delay sont actifs.
Pour la désactiver, appuyer sur cette même touche ou
sur la touche A.
Les leds de vitesse 24H et Off moteur s’éclairent.
Led 24H clignotante :
Signale la nécessité de laver les filtres à graisse métalliques.
L’alarme entre en fonction après 100 heures de travail effectif
de la hotte.
L’alarme filtres étant en cours, appuyer sur la touche
pendant environ 5 secondes pour restaurer l’alarme.
Ces signalisations sont visibles seulement lorsque le
moteur est coupé.
La led touche Aclignote 3 fois.
G Active le Delay, l’extinction automatique retardée de
20’ du moteur et du système d’éclairage.
Pour la désactiver, appuyer sur cette même touche ou
éteindre le moteur.
Les leds touches Delay et Off moteur s’éclairent.
Led Delay clignotante :
Signale la nécessité de remplacer les filtres à charbon actif.
Laver également les filtres à graisse métalliques. L’alarme
entre en fonction après 200 heures de travail effectif de la hotte.
Appuyer sur la touche pendant 5 secondes pour
valider la télécommande.
Appuyer sur la touche pendant 5 secondes pour
invalider la télécommande.

H Appuyée brièvement, elle allume et éteint l’éclairage à
l’intensité maximale. La led de la touche s’éclaire.
Appuyer sur la touche pendant environ 2 secondes
pour allumer les lumières de courtoisie (si prévu). La led de la touche s’éclaire.

TELECOMMANDE (FOURNIE SUR DEMANDE)
Il est possible de commander cet appareil au moyen d’une télé-
commande, alimentée avec des piles alcalines zinc-charbon 1,5 V
du type standard LR03-AAA (non compris).
• Ne pas ranger la télécommande à proximité de sources de cha-
leur.
• Ne pas jeter les piles; il faut les déposer dans les récipients de
récolte spécialement prévus à cet effet.
Ouverture panneau
• Ouvrir le panneau en le tirant.
• Le nettoyer à l’extérieur avec un chiffon humide et un
détergent liquide neutre.
• Le nettoyer également à l’intérieur avec un chiffon humide et
un détergent neutre ; ne jamais utiliser des chiffons ou des
éponges mouillés, ni des jets d’eau ; ne pas utiliser de substan-
ces abrasives.
