Safety Instructions
When using your Royal Café, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the
risk of re, property damage and personal injury. These precautions include:
• Read all instructions prior to use.
• Do not use your Royal Café without the
Pitcher handle attached.
• The Royal Café is not intended to be used
by children.
• Allow to cool before putting on or taking o
the Piston, and before cleaning.
• Do not operate your Royal Café if it has
malfunctioned or has been damaged in any
manner. Return your Royal Café to the
Royal Prestige Service Center for
inspection or repair.
• The use of any accessories or attachments
not recommended by Royal Prestige® may
cause injuries, including burns and will void
any warranty.
• Always use a burner similar in diameter to
the Royal Café. If using a gas stove, the
ame should just touch the bottom of the
Pitcher. The ame should not extend up the
side of the Pitcher.
• When brewing with your Royal Café, we
recommend using between medium and
medium-high temperature. Using higher
temperatures may cause liquid to overow.
• Temperatures can vary from one stove to
another. In general, when the Redi-Temp®
valve whistles, it indicates that you need to
immediately and carefully remove the Royal
Café from the stove.
• After brewing, the coee will be
EXTREMELY HOT, so we recommend being
careful when serving and wait until it cools
down before drinking it.
• Extreme caution must be used when
moving the Royal Café containing hot liquid.
• Do not use your Royal Café for any purpose
other than intended.
• Check the handle prior to use, ensuring any
loose screws are well tightened. If there is
one lose screw, it can easily be tightened
with a 14mm socket wrench.
• If your Royal Café is dropped or broken,
inspect for damage before using. If any
parts have been dislodged or you are
unsure – DO NOT USE. Have your Royal
Café inspected by the Royal Prestige
Service Center.
• DO NOT place your Royal Café directly on
a table, while hot. Always place it on top of
a heat-resistant surface.

Use and Care:
• Before using your Royal Café for the rst time, remove it from packaging, wash in warm, soapy
water and dry thoroughly with a soft cloth or towel.
• It is important to clean your Royal Café thoroughly after each use. Allow to cool completely
before washing. Use hot water with mild dish soap and a sponge or dishcloth. Royal Café is
also dishwasher safe.
• This utensil can discolor or stain if it is not properly cleaned after use and prior to brewing again.
• To make sure the Redi-Temp® valve keeps working properly, every time you wash your Royal
Café, place the Cover under the faucet and let hot water run through the open valve.
• Water spots (scaling) may occur due to the water condition in your area. To remove them,
apply RoyalShine™ (the exclusive, non-abrasive stainless steel cleanser by Royal Prestige®)
onto the dry utensil and rub in a circular motion with a paper towel. Once the stain is removed,
wash pan in hot, soapy water and dry immediately.
• Overheating or allowing the Royal Café to boil dry will cause yellow, bronze, blue or rainbow
tints on the stainless steel surface. The tints are harmless and can be removed by using
RoyalShine™ by Royal Prestige®.
• Avoid scraping the utensil or using metal scouring pads. It is ok to use a double-face sponge.
The scrub ber can be used on the inside, but only the soft sponge on the outside. For severe
fouling you may want to use a spray-on oven cleaner. Spray liberally; let sit overnight and by
morning the stains should come o easily.
• Stainless steel can scratch if handled incorrectly. Scratches do not aect coeemaker
performance, and therefore are not considered defects in workmanship or material.
• Your Royal Café features a bolt-on handle, which allows the utensil to have a smooth interior
with no rivet heads or weld marks. If the handle is damaged, do not use the coeemaker and
contact the Customer Service Center at 1-800-279-3373 for a handle replacement.
CAUTION: Allow to cool completely before cleaning.
