Ifthepositionhasnot beenfixed yet, theGreenLEDwillbestill.Ifthe
positionhas beenfixed,theGreenLED willbe Glowing.
Youarereadytoconnect toyourBluetooth-enabledmobiledeviceanduse
your GPS application.
2.5.2. STEP2:ConnecttoBluetooth-EnabledDevices
Fromyour Bluetooth-enabled handhelddevice,executeBluetooth
application softwaretosearch MBT-1100 andthenconnectitto yourdevice.
Iftheconnectionbetweenyour deviceand MBT-1100 issuccessful,the
BlueLEDwill be Glowing.
Note: Typeinpincode=0000 duringconfiguration.
2.5.3. STEP3:ConnecttoyourNavigation Software
lLoadyourGPS mappingorroutingsoftware,alongwith the
correspondingmapsoftheareasthat you areoccupyingorplanto
travel to.
lStarttheapplication. Makesuretheapplication issetfortheCOM port
that yourBluetooth-enabledmobiledevicewill useforserial
communication.Nowyoushouldbe readytouseyour GPS application
as directedbytheuserdocumentation thatcamewith thesoftware.
Moreconfigurations may be necessary.
lReferto thefollowingsoftwareapplicationusermanualto setupthe
parametersof thedeviceviaBluetoothradio.

pleasemakesureyourPCconnects to Internetfirst.

UsageNotes:
(1)Whenyouturnon thepowerbutton,itstartstosearchtheGPS
Signal.AftertheGPS position fixed, itwillbegin torecordandsave
thepositiondata.
(2)IfyouwanttostoprecordingtheGPS data,justturn thepower
off.
(3)Whendownload or erasedataform MBT-1100,Receiverstill
continuesrecordandsavetheposition data.
(4)Thetimeof thelogdata of MBT-1100 isUTCTime.Userdoesn’t
needto adjusttheClock settingof acamera.
3.3.1ConnectMBT-1100
lTurnon thepowerofMBT-1100andusetheUSBcabletoconnectto
theUSB portonPC.
lChecktheCOMportof MBT-1100 first.Click “Start à“Control
Panel àPerformanceandMaintenance à“System ,andyouwill
seetheSystemPropertiesdialogbox;clickon “Hardware taband
thenthe “DeviceManager button.Expandthe “Ports(COM&LPT)
item,andthe “ProlificUSB-to-SerialComPort istheCOMportof
yourMBT-1100.
