Thermostat for use in Hazardous Locations
Feed-thru Models: XT-311 SPST, XT-312 SPDT
22 Amps Res., 480VAC Max.; 1/2 HP @ 125VAC, 1 HP @ 250VAC
Class I, Divisions 1 & 2, Groups C & D; Class II, Division 1, Groups E,
F & G; Class II, Division 2, Groups F & G; Class III; Class I, Zones 1 &
2, Groups IIA & IIB.
Step 1
Mount thermostat approximately 5' (1.5m) above the oor where
average room temperature will be sensed and air circulates freely.
Keep thermostat away from hot and cold surfaces.
Step 2
Wire switch terminals as per Fig. 1 or 2.
Step 3
Install the cover using the 4 bolts supplied and tighten.
Step 4
Fill any unused conduit opening using plug supplied.
CAUTION
CAUTION. Electrician must have experience with
Hazardous Location equipment. Disconnect and lock off
power supply before wiring or servicing. All wiring must
comply with local codes and ordinances.

Modèles à traversée: XT-311 SPST, XT-312 SPDT
Rés. 22 amps, max. 480VAC; ½ HP à 125VAC, 1 HP, à 250VAC,
Class I, Divisions 1 & 2, Groupes C & D; Class II, Division 1,
GroupesE, F & G; Class II, Division 2, Groupes F & G; Class III;
ClassI, Zones 1 & 2, Groupes IIA & IIB.
Étape 1
Monter le thermostat à environ 5 pieds (1,5 m) du sol dans un
endroit où il mesurera la température moyenne de la pièce et où l’air
circule librement. Tenir le thermostat éloigné des surfaces froides et
chaudes.
Étape 2
Câbler les bornes d’interrupteur (voir la gure 1 ou 2).
Étape 3
Installer le couvercle à l’aide des 4 boulons fournis et le serrer.
Étape 4
Remplir toute ouverture de conduit non utilisée en utilisant le
bouchonfourni.
