speakerphone and can charge your USB devices.

CHARGING YOUR SPEAKER
Please fully charge the battery in the JOLT5 before
using it for the rst time.
To charge the JOLT5, simply plug the included
(or any) micro USB charging cable into the IN/
Charging Port (accessed by lifting the rubber
protective cover) on the speaker and the other end
into a powered USB port.
When charging, you will notice the red indicator
lights on the front of the speaker will be on. There
are 4 red indicator lights in total. The charge level
is indicated by the amount of red lights that are lit
solid: 1=25%, 2=50%, 3=75%, 4=100%. When fully
charged, all 4 red lights will be lit solid. A ashing red
light indicates the speaker is still in charging mode.
To see the battery charge level, when the speaker is
not being charged, press the “Battery Check Button”
on the side of the speaker. This is accessed by lifting
the rubber protective cover.

POWER ON
To POWER ON the JOLT5, press the Power Button
for a few seconds. You will see the indicator lights on
the front of the speaker turn on and a tone will be
emitted to let you know it is on. To POWER OFF the
JOLT5, hold the power button down for a few
seconds and you will hear a tone indicating it has
powered off.
GET CONNECTED
There are 2 options to get your device connected to
the JOLT5 Speaker: Bluetooth™Pairing or Aux in.
TO connect using Bluetooth™:
1. Activate your phone or device’s Bluetooth™.
2. Go to your device’s Bluetooth™settings and
ensure it is set to scan for new Bluetooth™devices.
3. Your device should nd the speaker, it will be named
“GB_JOLT_5K” click the device name and pair with it.
4. If your phone asks for a pairing code, please
enter ”0000”
5. After successful pairing, the speaker will make a
prompt sound and the LED light will be solid blue.
To connect using a 3.5mm Aux-in cable, simply
plug the connecting cable into “Aux-in” port on
the speaker and the other end into the Aux-out/
headphone port on the playing device.

While playing music and other audio through a
compatible Bluetooth™ connection, you are able to
play/pause, skip tracks and adjust the volume from
the speaker itself.
TO ADJUST THE VOLUME: Each single, quick press on
the “+” or “-” button will increase or decrease
the volume. When the volume is at maximum levels,
a “beep” sound will be emitted with each press of the
“+” button.
TO SKIP TO NEXT TRACK: Press the “+” button for
3 seconds continuously.
TO SKIP TO THE PREVIOUS OR EARLIER TRACKS:
Press the “-” button for 3 seconds continuously.
TO PAUSE PLAYBACK: Press the “PLAY/PAUSE”
button , press again to resume playback
NOTE: Play/Pause and Skip functions are only
available when connected to compatible Bluetooth™
devices. Only the volume controls work when
connected with the 3.5mm cable.

Your JOLT5 speaker can also function as a hands
free speakerphone when connected to a compatible
Bluetooth™phone.
ANSWERING A CALL
If a call comes in, simply press the “play/answer call
button” to accept the call. If you answer the call on
your phone instead, some phones may send the call
through your phone instead and then you would have
to manually select the JOLT5 as the audio source for
the call to switch it over.
TO ADJUST THE VOLUME
Each Single, quick press on the “+” or “-” button
will increase or decrease the volume. When the
volume is at maximum levels, a “beep” sound will be
emitted with each press of the “+” button.
ENDING A CALL
To end a call, press the “play/answer call button” or
press the end call button on your mobile phone. Once
the call has ended, your music will resume playing if
your mobile phone allows this feature.

The JOLT5 is designed to charge USB devices that
draw from 0.3A – 1A (Most cell phones. Some tablets
and devices requiring 2A may not be able to be
charged by your JOLT5 speaker).
TO USE USB CHARGING:
1. POWER ON the JOLT5
2. Plug the USB power cable that came with the
device you want to charge into the USB port on
the side of the JOLT5 speaker. (Accessed by
lifting the protective rubber cover)
3. Plug the other end of the cable into the device
you want to charge.

PROBLEM SOLUTION
My mobile
device does
not detect the
speaker?
a) Make sure the Speaker
is in pairing mode and
Bluetooth™is turned on on
your device.
b) Make sure you are within
range of the speaker.
c) Check that the device that
you are attempting to pair
with is Bluetooth™compatible.
The signal is
cutting out
A Bluetooth™signal can be
affected by objects that are in
the path of the playing device
and the speaker.
I can’t hear
anything from
my speaker
a) Volume levels can be
controlled independently,
both on the speaker and the
Bluetooth™source device.
Check the volume levels on
both devices to ensure that
they are turned up.
b) If using the 3.5mm aux
cable, check that the cable is
properly connected on both
ends.
