HS204) and date code (manufacture date) located on package.

ower tools are not recommended for screw installation.
TOOLS NEEDED: • Phillips head screwdriver
• Scissors and tape
Important Safety Information
Check for security after installation by tugging firmly on the door or drawer.
If the latch does not securely hold the door or drawer when tugged, adjust
the latch height to obtain a secure connection.
Your child will eventually be able to defeat this product. To keep this
product effective for as long as possible, avoid letting children see how
you operate child safety devices. Watching you disengage a lock, latch or
cover could enable them to learn sooner how to defeat it.
CAUTION: This product is only a deterrent. It is not a substi-
tute for proper adult supervision.
DO NOT use product if damaged or broken.

Pestillo:

4 Line the template up between the two marked edges
on the cabinet door/drawer with the marked lines on
the top edge of the cabinet door/drawer and tape
(Figure 4).
5 Mark the template hole locations on the cabinet door/
drawer. Remove the template and predrill holes with
a 1/16” (1.5mm) drill bit.
6 Secure latch tightly with screws.
NOTE: Cabinet door/drawer should not open more
than 2” (5.08cm).
Latch:
1 Carefully cut template at the solid line and punch out
the two holes X .
2 Line the template up with the catch so that the
dotted line is flush with the front edge of cabinet
opening. Tape template to cabinet (Figure 2).
3 Close the cabinet door/drawer and mark the outer
edges of the template on the cabinet door/drawer
and top edge on the template (Figure 3). Remove the
template.

the door/drawer opening.
2. Mark the hole locations.
3. Cut out installation template from
instructions.
4. Punch out hole locations.
5. Tape template to cabinet lining
up dotted line with top edge of
cabinet opening.
6. Close cabinet door/drawer.
7. Mark top edge of door/drawer on
the template. Also mark the width
of the template on the door/drawer.
8. Open door/drawer. Remove
template from base of cabient and
retape onto the inside of the
door/drawer.
9. Position the template onto the
inside of the door/drawer lining up
the pencil marks.
10. Mark hole locations.
11. Predrill holes with X” drill bit.

4 Haga una línea en la plantilla entre los dos bordes

To Install:

surface of all pieces. DO NOT remove second
tape backing yet.

CAUTION: Enclosed double-sided tape is for
positioning only. You must secure catch and latch
to cabinets and drawers with enclosed screws.
3. Position latch so it engages catch when door is
opened about 1.5˝. Mark latch position. Remove
positioning tape backing and stick in position.
Check alignment of catch and latch prior to
attaching with screws. After checking alignment,
secure both catch and latch tightly with screws.
To Use:
When drawer is opened 1.5˝ the latch will engage
catch. Press down on latch with finger to open.
NOTE: An alternative method to mount these cabinet latches is to
mount the catch on the side of the cabinet and then mount the latch
sideways on the edge of the cabinet door or drawer.
CAUTION: This product is only a deterrent. It is not a substitute for
proper adult supervision. Discontinue use when child becomes old
enough to defeat it. Toxic and dangerous substances, as well as
sharp-edged or pointed objects, should always be placed “high up”
or made otherwise inaccessible to small children.

has a counter top with a 1" overhang. If latch is difficult to access,
insert a rounded object to depress latch.

Catch:
1 Line up catch to the front edge of the cabinet
opening.
2 Mark the hole locations and the outer edges of the
catch on the cabinet opening (Figure 1).
3 Predrill holes with a 1/16” (1.5mm) drill bit.
4 Secure catch tightly with screws.
