Radio Care

At a Glance

1 –On/O /Volume Knob
Turns the radio ON or OFF, and adjusts the vo ume.
2 – Enter Button
Press this button to enter the menu functions and confirm your
se ections.
3 – Exit Button
Press this button to cance your se ections and exit the menu
functions.
4 – Menu Button
Press this button to enter menu operation mode.
5 – Up Button
Press this button to se ect your desired menu functions.

7 – Accessory Jack
Speaker Microphone and programming jack.
8 – LED Indicator
LED B ue f ashing means searching for network.
LED B ue fast f ashing means ogging on to the network.
LED B ue s ow f ashing means ogged on to the network.
LED Green permanent means receiving.
LED Orange means programming mode.
When pressing PTT button on the speaker microphone LED
RED means transmitting.
LED Red f ashing means firmware updating mode.

GETTING STARTED
Mobile Installation
To insta the mobi e, se ect a safe, convenient ocation inside
your car that minimizes danger to your passengers and
yourse f whi e the car is in motion. Consider insta ing the unit
at an appropriate position so that knees or egs wi not strike it
during sudden braking of your car. Try to pick a we venti ated
ocation that is shie ded from direct sun ight.
1. Insta the mounting bracket in the car using the supp ied
se f-tapping screws and f at washers.
2. Position the mobi e, then insert and tighten the supp ied
hexagon SEMS screws.
Note: doub e check that a screws are tightened to prevent car
vibration from oosening the bracket or transceiver.
Determine the appropriate ang e of the mobi e, using the 3
screw ho e positions on the side of the mounting bracket.
DC Power Cable Connection
The mobi e can support both 12V and 24V car battery. Be sure
to use a 12V vehic e battery at east that has sufficient current
capacity. If the current to the mobi e is insufficient, the disp ay
may darken during transmitting.
1. Route the DC power cab e supp ied with the mobi e
direct y to the car’s battery termina s using the shortest path
from the mobi e.
Note: the entire ength of the cab e must be dressed so it is
iso ated from heat, moisture, and the engine secondary (high
vo tage) ignition system cab es.
2. After insta ing cab e, in order to avoid the risk of damp,

p ease use heat-resistant tap to tie together with fuse box.
Don’t forget to reinforce who e cab e.
3. In order to avoid the risk of short circuit, p ease cut down
connection with negative (-) of battery, then connect with
mobi e.
4. Confirm the correct po arity of the connections, then
attach the power cab e to the battery termina s; red connect to
the positive (+) termina and b ack connects to the negative (-)
termina .
Use the fu ength of the cab e without cutting off excess even
if the cab e is onger than required. In particu ar, never remove
the fuse ho ders from the cab e.
5. Reconnect any wiring removed from the negative
termina .
6. Connect the DC power cab e to the mobi e’s power
supp y connector.
Press the connectors firm y together unti the ocking tab
c icks.
Programming Mode
To make the radio to enter programming mode, press the
Down button and turn on the radio, the LED wi disp ay
orange.
Firmware Updating Mode
To make the radio to enter firmware updating mode, press the
Menu button and turn on the radio, the LED wi red f ash.
