Make sure your MYWAVE toaster is not damaged. In case of doubt, DO NOT USE IT and contact our
aer-sales service or the establishment where you purchased it.
For safety, please keep all packaging (plasc bags, boxes, polystyrene, etc.) out of the reach of children or
animals.
Before plugging the appliance into the mains supply, check that the voltage corresponds with that stated
on
the characteriscs plate. The use of an earthed socket is recommended.
GENERAL SECURITY INDICATION
Before using the appliance, check that the mains voltage is same as the one on the characteriscs
or with the one indicated in the Technical Data at end of this manual.
This appliance has been designed for domesc use only and indoors. Do not use it for professional
or external purposes.
This appliance may be used by children 8 years of age or older and persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilis or lack of experience and knowledge, if they have been given
appropriate supervision or instrucon regarding to the use of the appliance in a safe manner and
understand the hazards involved. Children should not play with the appliance. The cleaning and
maintenance to be performed by the user should not be performed by children unless they are over
8 years old and under supervision. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children.
The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external mer or a separate remote
control system.
Never leave your appliance unaended when it is in use.
Check regularly that the cable is not damaged. Do not use your appliance if the cord or appliance is
damaged and take it to a qualied service technician.
Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid, for cleaning or for any other reason.
Never insert it in the dishwasher, except for the parts indicated in the Cleaning secn.
Do not use near heat sources.
The power plug must be unplugged before cleaning the appliance.
Any repairs should be performed by a qualied service technician.
Do not use the appliance outdoors and place it in a dry place.
Do not leave it out in the open.
Do not use aachments not recommended by the manufacturer, this may present a risk to the user
and may damage the device. Use only original accessories and spare parts.
Never move the appliance by pulling on the cord. Make sure that the cable does not get caught in
any protrusions in order to avoid possible falls. Avoid twisng the cord around the appliance or
twisng it around.
Place the appliance on a suciently at and stable surface to prevent it from falling.
Let the appliance cool down before cleaning and storing.
Ensure that the appliance does not come into contact with easily mmable materials such as

curtains, fabrics, etc. When it is in operaon, as it could cause a re. Leave a minimum distance of
one meter between the apparatus and ammable materials.
Do not clean the appliance with metal or abrasive utensils to avoid the risk of short circuits and

Do not move your toaster while it is running.

USE
Insert the plug into a grounded plug.
During the t use, turn the r knob to maximum without bread on the grill. Your toaster will
emit smell and smoke, this is normal and will disappear aer this rst use.
Put the bread on the rack. Always leave a 1cm gap between each slice, to avoid overheang your
toaster.
Turn the r knob to the desired posion. The resistors will light up slowly.
Aer the set , a bell will sound and your toaster will turn oautomacally.
You can interrupt toasng at any by turning the r knob to 0.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE:
Unplug and allow to cool before cleaning your toaster.
Do not immerse your toaster in water or any liquid. The exterior surface can be cleaned with a
clean, damp cloth.
If stains connue to occur, soapy water can be used, prevenng them from entering through the
venaots.
Do not use abrasive cleaners or sharp utensils to clean the exterior surface.
The pickup tray can be removed for cleaning. To do this pull the lower groove out. Once clean and
dry, carefully insert it into its slot.

Failure to follow the recommendaons for use and cleaning of this manual may result in paral or total
loss of warranty.
Handling by personnel other than the manufacturer may cause paral or total loss of the warranty.

Disposal of old electrical appliances.
The European direcve 2002/96/EC on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), requires that
old household electrical appliances must not be disposed of in the normal unsorted municipal waste
stream. Old appliances must be collected separately in order to opmize the recovery and recycling of
the materials they contain, and reduce the impact on human health and the environment. The crossed
out “wheeled bin” symbol on the product reminds you of your obligaon, that when you dispose of the
appliance, it must be separately collected. Consumers should contact their local authority or retailer for informaon
concerning the correct disposal of their old appliance.
