Probable causes
¤ Very cold chimney. No draught
established.
¤ Fuel tank is empty.
¤ Fuel valve is closed.
¤ Main regulator float not
engaging.
¤ Control knob is set on “0"
¤ Fuel tank is empty.
¤ Insufficient fuel.
¤ Insufficient draught.
¤ Fuel adjustment made too
quickly.
¤ Insufficient fuel.
¤ Burner contains excess fuel.
¤ Insufficient air supply.
¤ Downdraught or blockage in
chimney.
¤ Oil flow is too low on minimum
speed setting.
¤ Stove is not level. Flame
imbalance.
¤ Catalyser not centered.
¤ The draught regulator is
blocked in open position.
¤ Insufficient fuel.
¤ Excessive draught
: This sign means that you should
asked for a qualified engineer to do the
work.
