16 Vacuum pressure gage
The vacuum pump (2) generates a vacuum in the
receptacle (10) and in the suction lines directly con-
nected to it. The fluid flows due to the pressure equal-
ization via the suction lines in the receptacle. There is
a floating switch in the receptacle (10) itself. It switch-
es the vacuum pump (2) off when the fill level has
reached its maximum value. A suction filter (14) and
an air filter (1) are preconnected to the vacuum pump
(2). This prevents the ingress of fluid or dirt particles
in the vacuum pump (2). A vacuum regulating pump
(15) is used to adjust the vacuum. A vacuum pressure
gage (16) above the vacuum pump displays the pres-

sure in the receptacle. There is socket slide valve (11)
at the base of the receptacle (10) that can be used to
drain the content.
3.2 Operation
Only use the vacuum unit to extract
animal excrement.
3.2.1 Daily checks
Check the air filter (1) for contamination and the oil
level of the vacuum pump (2) at least once a day.
The work steps are explained in the following sections
5.2. and 5.3.
3.2.2 Switching on
Set the main switch (8) to 1.
3.2.3 Switching off
Set the main switch (8) to 0.
3.2.4 Draining
Drain the receptacle (10) when the maximum fill level
is reached and before any lengthy downtime. The
maximum fill level is displayed by the fill level indicator
light (6) on the switch box (7).
Draining the receptacle:
1. Set the main switch (8) to 0.
2. Open the socket slide valve (11) at the base of the
receptacle (10).
3. After draining, close the socket slide valve (11).

2. Only use suitable means of transportation and
lifting gear with a sufficient load capacity.
3. Only use stable loading ramps that can withstand
the load.
4. Protect the vacuum unit from slipping and tipping.
4.2 Set-up
The mains connection must comply
with the local power supply compa-
ny regulations and be protected
with a residual current circuit
breaker (residual current < 0.03 A)
and fuses (16 A, slow-blow).
Do not place the unit on its side.
The suction connection (9) is designed as a socket
with a 1” internal thread. A 1/2” hose nipple is
screwed into the suction connection (9).
Set up and install as follows:
1. Place the vacuum unit on a flat, stable floor.
2. Anchor the vacuum unit in the floor using hexagon
screws (min. diameter 8mm).
3. Establish a hose connection between the unit or
the system where fluid is to be extracted and the
suction connection (9). When doing so, fasten a
hose of sufficient length to the hose nipple using
hose clamps.
4. Assign a competent person to establish the electri-
cal connection. The socket slide valve (11) under
the receptacle has a 2” internal thread where a
drain line can be connected.
Always lay the drain line at an in-
cline to the vacuum unit.
5. Cleaning and maintenance
Disconnect the power from the vac-
uum unit before performing mainte-
nance tasks on the vacuum pump.
