1. Preparation before use
1.1 Transport
On receiving the product, please check it for completeness, lack of faults and check
it for any transport damage.
Inspect the goods in the presence of your forwarder
Should transport damage have occurred, please cause an inventory (determination
of the faults) to be made in the presence of the forwarder. Please send a complaint
in writing to the specialist dealer responsible.
1.2 Safety measures prior to use
Correct use BIBI requires detailed and careful training of the accompanying per-
son. We ask you to read through the Instructions for use carefully prior to initial
commissioning of the stander and to observe them.
1.3 Safe disposal of the packaging material
The product packaging should be stored in case the product needs to be transpor-
ted again. Should you have to return the product for repairs or in case of a gua-
rantee claim, please if possible use the original box so that the product is optimally
packaged.
Otherwise, please assist in disposing of the packaging material professionally in or-
der to promote the recycling of resources. For this reason, separate the packaging
materials for recycling according to their classication. Do not leave packaging
materials unattended, as they are a possible source of danger.

2.2 Areas of application, intended use
BIBI, the light and compact bath seat, suits solely for use in bath tubs, showers,
sandboxes and on the beach. It supports children and youths without the capability
of sitting upright unassisted and it gives additional stability through straps. Use over
and above that is not intended.
CAUTION!
2.3 Not intended use / warnings
• BIBI should only be used by one child at the same time.
• Never leave child unattended on the bath seat.
• Correct use of BIBI requires an prior instruction of the caregiver.
• Max. load of 30 kg should not be exceeded.
• Never use BIBI if any part is faulty, worn out or missing.
• Do not place the bath seat near an open re or other sources of strong heat,
such as electric bar res, gas res etc. due to the risk of re.
• Do not use any accessories or replacement parts not manufactured by
Schuchmann, because this may affect your child’s safety.
• Do not use the seat unless all components are correctly tted and adjusted.
• BIBI is not suitable for the transport of persons.
2. Product description
2.1 Materials
Main frame is made out of aluminium, is corrosion-free and black powder-
coated. The internal structure of the snap-lock joints and the Bowden cable are
made out of stainless steel and are corrosion-free. The removable and washable
fabric consists of 100% polyester.

3. Settings
3.1 Backrest angle
The backrest is angle adjustable.
Press therfore both buttons at the side
and bring the backrest into the desired
position. After positioning, release the
buttons and make sure and make sure
that the snap-lock joints latches.
Make sure after positioning that the snap-lock joint latches!
For a easy storage or transport BIBI
can be folded at.

3.2 Fabric
The setting of the fabric takes place
by adjusting the 2 belts at the backrest
(A) and the 2 belts underneath the
seating surface (B). A

4. Maintenance and care
4.1 Care
Wipe all frame elements with a sponge or clean damp cloth. The fabric can be
removed and washed at 30°. Please do not tumble dry and use any abrasive
detergents.
4.3 Spare parts
Please refer to your specialist dealer for any spare parts (see item 7.5) and mention
the serial number.
4.2 Maintenance
A visual inspection is recommended daily. Periodically inspect for cracks, breaks,
loose parts, missing parts and/or malfunctions. Remove the product from service
when any condition develops that might make operation unsafe. Please refer to
your specialist dealer for any failure or malfunction (see item 7.5).

6. Warranty
For all products we grant a legal warranty of 2 years. This begins with the delive-
ry, respectively with the handover of the product. Is there a veriable material or
manufacturing fault inbetween this period, we will examine the damage, improve if
necessary or provide new.
