Installation instruction
1. TEMPLATE.
Choose the right template of the cleat to be fitted
and mark position of cylinders and screws on
the deck (see templates at page 05, 06, 07, 08).
Use a hole saw to cut holes for cylinders and a
drill bit to cut holes for screws.
2. CLEAT PREPARATION.
Use a screw driver and turn clockwise to unscrew
one of the pistons, then turn the cleat 90°.
CAUTION: to disassemble the cleat, use only tools
with a diameter indicated in the table.

3. PREPARING THE BASE.
Carefully clean the bottom side of the base, apply
a small bead of marine sealant under the flange,
into the groove.
4. INSTALLATION
Place the base on the deck and let the cylinders go into
the holes. Then place the screws (we recommend to
use anti-corrosion lubricant into the screw holes).
Use washers (or backing plate, if needed) between screws
and nuts and tighten firmly. Caution: keep the cleat flat,
avoiding torsion or bending.

5. CLEAT ASSEMBLY.
Screw again the piston to the cleat.
