INSTALLATIONINSTRUCTIONS:
The SV-6940.LMuniversallip-mountwaterproofback-upcameraisdesigned tobeinstalled on
anyvehicle.Mostinstallationsareeasytoinstallwithno drilling required,requiringminimal
installation time.
Thisuniquelydesignedproductcanbeofuseforanypassengercar,SUVandVan, alsocanbe
ofuseforlargetruck,schoolbus,busand boataswell.Furthermore,itcannot onlybe installed
on thelicenseplatebezelortrunklid,butanywhereon thevehicle,suchasunderthebumper,
on the sidesof cargo trailersorabovethe hatch.

INSTALLATION
MOUNTING:
1.The Securview™SV-6940.LMRearVisionSystemusesawide-anglelensforbestall around
performance.TheCamerawill displaythefull widthofmostparkingspacesup to7feetor
evenwider.
2.The SV-6940.LMisaUniversalLipMountstylecamerawhichhasasmall design thatallows
ittobemountedinseveraldifferentlocationsaround thevehiclesuchastheLicensePlate
Bezel,TrunkLid,Front/RearBumper,Etc.Choosewhereyouwantthecameratobe
located.Makesurethatthereisnothingbehindthe mountingsurfacethatcanbe damaged
whenthecameraismountedintoplace
3.Carefullychoosealocation toroutethevideo/powercableintothevehicle.Ifyouhaveto
drill aholetoroutethe cable,makesurethereisnothingbehindthedrilling surfacethatcan
be damaged.
4.Securethecameraintoplaceusing screwsordouble-sidedtape.(Ifusing double-sidetape,
makesurethesurfaceisveryclean beforeapplyingthe tape)
5.Oncethe cameraismounting,securethevideo/powercablewithziptiesortapetoensure
that itdoesnotmovearound freely.

WIRING:
1.Onceyou havemountedthecameraandsecuredthe wiring cableintoplace, routethe rest ofthe
wireuptothefrontof the vehicle.
2.Chooseaconvenientplacetorunthecameracableuptheleft,rightorcenterofthe vehicle.As
aruleof thumb,trytoavoidmainfactoryharness loomsthatmaycontainhigh levelsorRFnoise
orinterference.
3.Connect oneRed wiretothe +12 voltReverseLightWire.Thiscan bedoneeitheratthe back of
the vehicleatthe reverselightitself, oryou canalsoroutethewiretothe frontofthevehicleand
find thereverselightwireunderthedashboard(Somevehicleswill nothavethereverselight
wireup front. Inthiscase,itwill havetobeconnectedatthereverselight).Connectthe Black
wiretoChassisGround.
4.Run theYellowRCAvideocabletoyourmonitor’svideoinput orreversecamerainput.
