IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using an electrical appliance, basic precautions should always be followed, including the following:
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THIS APPLIANCE.
WARNING –TO REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE, ELECTRIC SHOCK OR INJURY:
1. Do not leave appliance when plugged in. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before servicing.
Connect to a properly grounded outlet only. See Grounding Instructions.
2. Do not expose to water or rain – store indoors.
3. Do not allow to be used as a toy. Close attention is necessary when used by or near children.
4. Use only as described in this manual. Use only manufacturer’s recommended attachments.
5. Do not operate Air Circulator with damaged cord or plug. Discard Air Circulator or return to Shop-Vac
Corporation for examination and/or repair. If appliance is not working as it should, has been dropped,
damaged, left outdoors or dropped into water, contact Shop-Vac Corporation for assistance.
6. Do Not: pull or carry by cord, use cord as a handle, close door on cord or pull cord around sharp edges
or corners. Do not run appliance over cord. Keep cord away from heated surfaces.
7. Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug, grasp the plug; not the cord.
8. Do not handle plug or appliance with wet hands.
9. Do not put any object into openings. Do not use with any opening blocked; keep free of dust, lint, hair
and anything that may reduce air flow.
10. Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers and all parts of body away from openings and moving parts.
11. Turn off all controls before unplugging.
12. WARNING! To avoid injury or property damage: do not use around explosive liquids or vapors, as
electrical devices produce arcs or sparks, which can cause a fire or explosion.
13. Do not store or use near flammable or combustible liquids such as gasoline, toxic, carcinogenic,
combustible or hazardous materials such as asbestos, arsenic, barium, beryllium, lead, pesticides or
other health endangering materials.
14. Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings.
Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
15. Operation of this unit can result in foreign objects being blown into eyes, which can result in eye
damage. Always wear safety goggles when operating Air Circulator.
16. STAY ALERT, Watch what you are doing and use common sense.
17. Use only on GFCI Protected Receptacles.
18. Do not use an extension cord with this Air Circulator.
19. Lift unit by top carry handle.

GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance must be grounded. If it should malfunction or breakdown, grounding provides a path of
least resistance for electric current to reduce the risk of electric shock. This appliance is equipped with
a cord having an equipment-grounding conductor and grounding plug. The plug must be inserted into an
appropriate outlet that is properly installed and grounded in accordance with all local codes and ordinances.
WARNING –IMPROPER CONNECTION OF THE EQUIPMENT-GROUNDING
CONDUCTOR CAN RESULT IN A RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK. CHECK WITH A QUALIFIED
ELECTRICIAN OR SERVICE PERSON IF YOU ARE IN DOUBT AS TO WHETHER THE OUTLET IS
PROPERLY GROUNDED. DO NOT MODIFY THE PLUG PROVIDED WITH THE APPLIANCE – IF
IT WILL NOT FIT THE OUTLET, HAVE A PROPER OUTLET INSTALLED BY A QUALIFIED
ELECTRICIAN.

This appliance is for use on a nominal 120-volt circuit, and has a grounded plug that looks like the plug
illustrated in sketch A. A temporary adaptor that looks like the adaptor illustrated in sketches B and C may
be used to connect this plug to a 2-pole receptacle as shown in sketch B if a properly grounded outlet is
not available. The temporary adaptor should be used only until a properly grounded outlet (sketch A) can
be installed by a qualified electrician. The green colored rigid ear, lug or the like extending from the adaptor
must be connected to a permanent ground such as a properly grounded outlet box cover. Whenever the
adaptor is used, it must be held in place by a metal screw.
IN CANADA, THE USE OF A TEMPORARY ADAPTOR IS NOT PERMITTED BY THE CANADIAN ELECTRICAL
CODE. Make sure that the appliance is connected to an outlet having the same configuration as the plug. No
adaptor should be used with this appliance.
UNPACKING
Unpack air circulator from carton. Lift unit using the top carry handle.
ASSEMBLY
NOTE: This unit is for use with the included wall mounting bracket or mobile floor mounting bracket (not
included, sold separately).
MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS
You will find one mounting bracket, three hex head screws, one pivot tube, two bolts, two washers and two
lock nuts. Assemble as follows:
1. Select a mounting location at a wall stud or a surface that is strong enough to hold the weight of the
unit. Make sure the unit has enough clearance on each side to allow for proper airflow.
WARNING –INADEQUATE MOUNTING COULD ALLOW THE UNIT TO FALL,
CAUSING INJURY AND/OR DAMAGE TO THE UNIT.
2. To make it easier to secure the mounting bracket, it is recommended to drill pilot
holes in the mounting surface. To do this, place the bracket against the wall or ceiling
in the selected mounting location. Make sure bracket is level. Use a pencil to mark
the location of the holes (located in the bracket) onto the wall or ceiling. Remove the
bracket and use a 3/16” drill bit to drill holes where the pencil marks are on the wall
or ceiling.
3. Secure the bracket to the mounting surface with the three screws provided or other
suitable fastener. NOTE: The screws provided are adequate ONLY for mounting into
wood. Be sure to use the proper, suitable fasteners for mounting air circulator to a
surface other than wood. Make sure bracket is level.
4. Slide the pivot tube onto the end of the bracket. Line up the slot on the pivot tube with
the hole in the bracket.
5. Place the washers onto the bolts. Insert one of the bolts, with the washer, through the
slot on the pivot tube and then into the hole in the wall bracket. Place lock nut on end
of bolt and hand tighten only.

6. Install air circulator onto bracket making sure to point the side closest to the switch in the direction you
want the air to flow. To install, place handle on air circulator in U-shaped slot on end of the pivot tube.
7. Line up hole in the pivot tube with the hole in the handle. NOTE: There are two sets
of holes in the handle. Use the vertical set if the bracket is mounted to the wall and
the horizontal set if the bracket is mounted to the ceiling. Insert remaining bolt, with
washer, through the holes. Place lock nut on end of bolt and hand tighten only.
8. The angle of the unit may be adjusted by turning the unit and/or the pivot tube. If it won’t turn, loosen
the bolts. Once the unit is in the correct position, tighten both of the bolts and lock nuts using two 9/16”
wrenches or sockets. NOTE: You will feel some resistance from the lock nut. This is normal. Continue to
tighten until the nut touches the pivot tube.
SET UP AND OPERATION
WARNING –TO REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE OR ELECTRIC SHOCK, DO NOT
USE THIS AIR CIRCULATOR WITH ANY SOLID-STATE SPEED CONTROL DEVICE.
1. Plug the unit into the wall.
2. Turn unit on and select air speed by turning switch, located on the top of the unit.
3. When you no longer need the unit, turn the unit off and follow the instructions for storage in this manual.
OPTIONAL FILTERS AND ACCESSORIES
There are filters and accessories available for the air circulator that may be purchased at your local dealer
or Shop-Vac®website. These items do not come standard with your unit.
FILTERS
The available filters install on the intake end of the air circulator to prevent dust from being drawn into
the unit and exhausted into the air. To use the filters, you will need to purchase the filter kit containing the
mounting ring. NOTE: Filters are not required in areas where the dust content is low.
WARNING –KEEP FILTERS CLEAN. EFFICIENCY OF THE UNIT IS LARGELY
DEPENDENT ON THE FILTER. A CLOGGED FILTER CAN CAUSE OVERHEATING AND POSSIBLY
DAMAGE THE UNIT. CHECK THE FILTER PERIODICALLY AND REPLACE AS REQUIRED.
ACCESSORIES
The mobile floor mounting bracket allows you to move the unit around for use in different spaces. The
loading dock air circulating kit forces cool air into a trailer and warm air out.
CLEANING
WARNING –TO REDUCE THE RISK OF INJURY FROM THE AIR CIRCULATOR
ACCIDENTALLY STARTING, UNPLUG POWER CORD BEFORE CLEANING.
The outside of the unit may be cleaned with a damp cloth to remove any dust or residue.
USER SERVICING INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING –BE SURE TO DISCONNECT POWER SUPPLY BEFORE
ATTEMPTING TO SERVICE OR REMOVE ANY COMPONENTS.
Do not attempt to service your air circulator beyond that described in the user manual. For all other
servicing, follow instructions under Warranty Section.

LUBRICATION
No lubrication is necessary as the motor is equipped with lifetime lubricated bearings.
STORAGE
1. Before storing the unit, it should be cleaned. For cleaning instructions, refer to the cleaning section in this
manual.
2. If desired, the unit may be removed from the wall bracket by removing the bolt. The power cord can be
wrapped around the handle on the top of the unit to keep it untangled. THE AIR CIRCULATOR SHOULD
BE STORED INDOORS. TROUBLESHOOTING

Limited One-Year Warranty
Shop-Vac Corporation warrants the product contained in this package for one year from the date of
purchase to correct by repair or parts replacement without charge any product defect due to faulty material
or workmanship. Should this product be used for rental service, a 90 day limited warranty will apply. Shop-
Vac®assumes no responsibility for damage or faulty performance caused by misuse or careless handling,
or where repairs or modifications have been made or attempted by others. Proof of purchase date is
required. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from
state to state or province to province.

AVERTISSEMENT- POUR RÉDUIRE LE RISQUE D’INCENDIE, DE
DÉCHARGE ÉLECTRIQUE OU DE BLESSURE :
1. Ne laissez pas l’appareil sans surveillance lorsqu’il est branché. Débranchez-le lorsqu’il n’est pas utilisé
et avant d’en effectuer l’entretien. Branchez à une prise correctement mise à la terre. Consultez les
Instructions de mise à la terre.
2. N’exposez pas à l’eau ou à la pluie. Rangez à l’intérieur.
3. Ne laissez jamais cet appareil être employé comme un jouet. Une attention particulière est requise
lorsqu’il est utilisé par des enfants, ou à proximité de ceux-ci.
4. Utilisez uniquement de la façon décrite dans le présent guide. Utilisez uniquement les accessoires
recommandés par le fabricant.
5. N’utilisez pas le ventilateur avec une fiche ou un cordon endommagé. Jetez le ventilateur ou retournez-
le à la société Shop-Vac à des fins d’examen ou de réparation. Si l’appareil ne fonctionne pas comme il
se doit, s’il a été échappé, endommagé, laissé à l’extérieur ou s’il est tombé dans l’eau, retournez-le à
la société Shop-Vac pour obtenir de l’aide.
6. Ne pas : tirer l’appareil ou le transporter par le cordon, utiliser le cordon comme poignée, coincer le
cordon dans l’embrasure d’une porte ou l’appuyer contre des arêtes vives ou des coins. Ne faites pas
passer l’appareil sur le cordon. Gardez le cordon à l’écart des surfaces chauffées.
7. Ne débranchez pas en tirant sur le cordon. Pour débrancher, saisissez la fiche et non le cordon.
8. Ne manipulez pas l’appareil avec les mains mouillées.
9. N’insérez pas d’objets dans les ouvertures. N’utilisez pas si des ouvertures sont obstruées; gardez les
ouvertures exemptes de poussière, de peluches, de cheveux et de tout ce qui peut réduire la circulation
de l’air.
10. Gardez les cheveux, les vêtements amples, les doigts et toutes les parties du corps à l’écart des
ouvertures et des pièces mobiles.
11. Éteindre toutes les commandes avant de débrancher.
12. AVERTISSEMENT! Pour éviter des blessures ou des dommages matériels : n’utilisez pas à proximité
de liquides ou de vapeurs explosives, comme les appareils électriques produisent des arcs ou des

INSTRUCTIONS DE MISE À LA TERRE
Cet appareil doit être mis à la terre. En cas de dysfonctionnement ou de panne, la mise à la terre fournit un
chemin de moindre résistance au courant électrique afin de réduire le risque de décharge électrique. Cet
appareil est équipé d’un cordon muni d’un conducteur et d’une fiche de terre. La fiche doit être branchée
dans une prise appropriée qui est bien installée et mise à la terre conformément à tous les codes et

DOUTES QUANT À LA MISE À LA TERRE DE LA PRISE, CONSULTEZ UN ÉLECTRICIEN OU DU
PERSONNEL D’ENTRETIEN QUALIFIÉ. NE MODIFIEZ PAS LA FICHE FOURNIE AVEC L’APPAREIL
SI ELLE NE CONVIENT PAS À LA PRISE, FAITES PLUTÔT INSTALLER UNE PRISE ADÉQUATE
PAR UN ÉLECTRICIEN QUALIFIÉ.
Cet appareil est destiné à être utilisé sur un circuit nominal de 120 volts, et dispose d’une prise de terre
qui ressemble à la fiche du dessin A. Un adaptateur temporaire, qui ressemble à l’adaptateur illustré dans
les dessins B et C, peut être utilisé pour brancher cette fiche à une prise à 2 pôles, comme le montre le
dessin B si une prise correctement mise à la terre n’est pas disponible. L’adaptateur temporaire ne doit être
utilisé que jusqu’à ce qu’une prise de terre (dessin A) puisse être installée par un électricien qualifié. La
languette rigide verte attachée à l’adaptateur, ou ce qui lui ressemble, doit être connectée à une mise à la
terre permanente telle qu’un couvercle de boîte de prise de courant à contact de mise à la terre appropriée.
Chaque fois que l’adaptateur est utilisé, il doit être maintenu en place au moyen d’une vis en métal.
AU CANADA, L’UTILISATION D’UN ADAPTATEUR TEMPORAIRE EST INTERDITE PAR LE CODE CANADIEN DE
L’ÉLECTRICITÉ. Assurez-vous que l’appareil est branché à une prise électrique ayant la même configuration
que la fiche. Aucun adaptateur ne doit être utilisé avec cet appareil.
DÉBALLAGE
Déballez le ventilateur de la boîte. Soulevez l’appareil en utilisant la poignée de transport supérieure.
ASSEMBLAGE
REMARQUE : Cet appareil est destiné à être utilisé avec le support de montage mural compris ou le support
portable de fixation au plancher (non compris, vendu séparément).
INSTALLATION AU MUR
Vous trouverez un support de montage, trois vis à tête hexagonale, un tube pivotant, deux boulons, deux
rondelles et deux écrous. Assemblez comme suit :
1. Choisissez un endroit d’installation sur un poteau mural ou une surface qui est assez solide pour
soutenir le poids de l’appareil. Assurez-vous que l’appareil a suffisamment d’espace de chaque côté
pour permettre une ventilation adéquate.
AVERTISSEMENT–UN SUPPORT INSUFFISANT RISQUE DE FAIRE
TOMBER L’APPAREIL, CAUSANT AINSI DES BLESSURES OU DES DOMMAGES À L’APPAREIL.
2. Pour faciliter la fixation du support de montage, il est recommandé de percer des
ouvertures de guidage dans la surface de montage. Pour ce faire, placez le support
contre le mur ou le plafond, à l’emplacement de montage choisi. Assurez-vous que le
support est de niveau. Utilisez un crayon pour marquer l’emplacement des ouvertures
(situées dans le support) du mur ou du plafond. Retirez le support et utiliser une mèche
de 3/16 po pour percer des trous à où se trouvent les marques de crayon sur le mur ou
le plafond.
3. Fixez le support sur la surface de montage avec les trois vis fournies ou avec un
autre moyen de fixation approprié. REMARQUE : Les vis fournies sont adéquates
UNIQUEMENT pour le montage dans le bois. Assurez-vous d’utiliser les attaches
adéquates pour installer le ventilateur sur une surface autre que le bois.

4. Faites glisser le pivot sur l’extrémité du support. Alignez la fente sur le pivot avec
l’orifice du support.
5. Placez les rondelles sur les boulons. Insérez l’un des boulons, avec la rondelle, à
travers la fente du tube pivotant, puis dans l’ouverture du support mural. Placez le
contre-écrou à l’extrémité du boulon et serrez manuellement uniquement.
6. Installez le ventilateur sur le support en veillant à pointer le côté le plus près de l’interrupteur dans la
direction où vous voulez que l’air circule. Pour l’installer, mettez la poignée du ventilateur dans la fente en
forme de U à l’extrémité du tube pivotant.
7. Alignez les ouvertures du tube pivotant avec celle de la poignée. REMARQUE : Il existe
deux séries d’ouvertures dans la poignée. Utilisez le jeu vertical si le support est
installé sur le mur et le jeu horizontal si le support est installé au plafond. Insérez
le boulon restant et la rondelle, à travers les ouvertures. Placez le contre-écrou à
l’extrémité du boulon et serrez manuellement uniquement.
8. L’angle de l’appareil peut être réglé en tournant l’appareil ou le tube pivotant. S’il ne tourne pas,
desserrez les boulons. Une fois l’appareil en bonne position, serrez les deux vis et écrous en utilisant
deux clés ou douilles de 9/16 po. REMARQUE : Vous sentirez une certaine résistance du contre-écrou.
C’est normal. Continuez à serrer l’écrou jusqu’à ce que l’écrou touche au tube pivotant.
CONFIGURATION ET FONCTIONNEMENT
AVERTISSEMENT–POUR RÉDUIRE LE RISQUE D’INCENDIE OU DE
DÉCHARGE ÉLECTRIQUE, N’UTILISEZ PAS CE VENTILATEUR AVEC UN DISPOSITIF DE
CONTRÔLE DE LA VITESSE SEMI-CONDUCTEUR.
1. Branchez l’appareil dans la prise murale.
2. Mettez l’appareil en marche et sélectionnez la vitesse de l’air en tournant l’interrupteur sur le dessus de
l’appareil.
3. Lorsque vous n’avez plus besoin de l’appareil, éteignez-le et suivez les instructions de rangement se
trouvant dans le présent manuel.
FILTRES ET ACCESSOIRES EN OPTION
Il existe des filtres et des accessoires pour ce ventilateur qui peuvent être achetés chez votre revendeur
local ou sur le site de Shop-VacMD. Ces éléments ne sont pas offerts de série avec votre appareil.
FILTRES
Les filtres disponibles s’installent sur l’extrémité d’admission du ventilateur pour empêcher que la poussière
ne soit aspirée dans l’appareil et rejetée dans l’air. Pour utiliser les filtres, vous devrez acheter la trousse
de filtration comportant l’anneau de montage. REMARQUE : Les filtres ne sont pas nécessaires dans les
régions où la teneur en poussières est faible.
AVERTISSEMENT–GARDEZ LES FILTRES PROPRES. L’EFFICACITÉ DE
L’APPAREIL EST EN GRANDE PARTIE TRIBUTAIRE DU FILTRE. UN FILTRE ENCRASSÉ PEUT

Le support portable de fixation au plancher vous permet de déplacer l’appareil et de l’utiliser dans des
endroits différents. La trousse de plateforme de chargement du ventilateur envoie de l’air frais dans une
remorque et de l’air chaud à l’extérieur.

LUBRIFICATION
Comme le moteur est équipé de roulements lubrifiés à vie, aucune lubrification n’est requise.
RANGEMENT
1. L’appareil doit être nettoyé avant d’être rangé. Pour connaître les instructions de nettoyage, reportez-
vous à la section de nettoyage du présent manuel.
2. Si on le souhaite, l’appareil peut être retiré du support mural en enlevant le boulon. Pour l’empêcher
de s’emmêler, enroulez le cordon d’alimentation autour de la poignée sur le dessus de l’appareil. LE
VENTILATEUR DOIT ÊTRE ENTREPOSÉ À L’INTÉRIEUR.

INSTRUCCIONES IMPORTANTES SOBRE SEGURIDAD
Cuando utilice un artefacto eléctrico, deberá seguir siempre las precauciones básicas, entre las que se
incluyen las siguientes: LEA TODAS LAS INSTRUCCIONES ANTES DE UTILIZAR ESTE ARTEFACTO.
ADVERTENCIA – PARA REDUCIR EL RIESGO DE INCENDIO, DESCARGA
ELÉCTRICA O LESIONES:
1. No deje sin atención el artefacto cuando está conectado. Desconéctelo del tomacorriente cuando no lo
esté utilizando y antes de realizar tareas de mantenimiento. Conéctelo únicamente a un tomacorriente
debidamente conectado a tierra. Consulte las Instrucciones de Conexión a Tierra.
2. No lo exponga al agua ni a la lluvia, guárdelo en el interior.
3. No permita que lo utilicen como un juguete. Se requiere una estrecha vigilancia cuando lo utilicen niños
o se trabaje con el artefacto cerca de ellos.
4. Utilícelo solamente como se describe en este manual. Utilice solamente los accesorios recomendados
por el fabricante.
5. No haga funcionar el Circulador de Aire si el cable o el enchufe están dañados. Descarte el Circulador
de Aire o regréselo a Shop-Vac Corporation para su revisión y/o reparación. Si el artefacto no funciona
como debiera, se ha caído, dañado, dejado a la intemperie o se ha dejado caer en el agua, contacte con
Shop-Vac Corporation para solicitar asistencia.
6. No: tire o transporte el artefacto por el cable, no utilice el cable como manija, no cierre la puerta
apretando el cable ni tire del cable alrededor de bordes filosos o esquinas. No pase el artefacto sobre el
cable. Mantenga el cable alejado de superficies calientes.
7. No desconecte el artefacto tirando del cable. Para desconectarlo, hágalo tomando el enchufe, no tirando
del cable.
8. No toque el enchufe ni el artefacto con las manos mojadas.
9. No inserte ningún objeto por las aberturas. No lo utilice si alguna abertura está bloqueada; manténgalo
libre de polvo, pelusa, cabello y cualquier otro material que pudiera reducir el flujo de aire.
10. Mantenga el cabello, la ropa suelta, los dedos y en general todo su cuerpo, alejado de las aberturas y
piezas móviles del artefacto.
11. Apague todos los controles antes de desconectar la unidad.
12. ¡ADVERTENCIA! Para evitar lesiones personales o daños materiales: no utilice el artefacto cerca de
líquidos o vapores explosivos, dado que los aparatos eléctricos producen arcos o chispas que pueden
causar un incendio o una explosión.
13. No lo guarde ni use cerca de líquidos inflamables o combustibles, como gasolina, materiales tóxicos,
carcinógenos, combustibles o peligrosos como amianto, arsénico, bario, berilio, plomo, pesticidas u
otros materiales que representen un riesgo para la salud.
14. No pase el cable por debajo de las alfombras. No cubra el cable con alfombritas, tapetes o coberturas
similares. Coloque el cable alejado del área de tránsito y en donde no se pueda tropezar con el mismo.
15. El funcionamiento de esta unidad podría ocasionar que objetos extraños sean soplados hacia los ojos,
lo que podría resultar en una lesión ocular. Siempre lleve puestas gafas de seguridad cuando haga
funcionar el Circulador de Aire.
16. MANTÉNGASE ALERTA. Vigile lo que está haciendo y utilice el sentido común.
17. Use sólo Tomacorrientes Protegidos GFCI (con interruptor de circuito por falla de conexión a tierra).
18. No utilice un cable de extensión con este Circulador de Aire.
19. Levante la unidad usando la manija de transporte superior.

INSTRUCCIONES DE CONEXIÓN A TIERRA
Este aparato debe estar conectado a tierra. De ocurrir un desperfecto, la conexión a tierra ofrece una vía de
menor resistencia para la corriente eléctrica y reduce el riesgo de descarga eléctrica. Este aparato viene
equipado con un cable con conductor de conexión a tierra para el equipo y un enchufe de conexión a tierra.
El enchufe debe conectarse a un tomacorriente apropiado el cual debe estar instalado correctamente y
conectado a tierra de acuerdo con todos los códigos y regulaciones locales.
ADVERTENCIA– LA CONEXIÓN INCORRECTA DEL CONECTOR A TIERRA
DEL EQUIPO PUEDE RESULTAR EN UN RIESGO DE DESCARGA ELÉCTRICA. VERIFIQUE CON
UN ELECTRICISTA CALIFICADO O TÉCNICO DE SERVICIO SI TIENE DUDAS CON RESPECTO
A SI EL TOMACORRIENTE ESTÁ ADECUADAMENTE CONECTADO A TIERRA. NO HAGA
MODIFICACIONES EN EL ENCHUFE DEL ARTEFACTO. SI NO SE AJUSTA AL TOMACORRIENTE,
HAGA QUE UN ELECTRICISTA CALIFICADO LE INSTALE UN TOMACORRIENTE ADECUADO.
Este aparato debe usarse con un circuito de 120 voltios nominales y cuenta con un enchufe con conexión
a tierra que aparece en la ilustración A. Si no tiene disponible un tomacorriente debidamente conectado a
tierra, puede usar un adaptador provisorio como el que se muestra en las ilustraciones B y C para conectar
este enchufe a un tomacorriente de 2 polos, como el que se exhibe en la ilustración B. El adaptador
provisorio debe usarse sólo hasta que un electricista pueda instalar un tomacorriente debidamente
conectado a tierra (ilustración A). La espiga, orejeta o accesorio similar rígido de color verde que sale del
adaptador debe conectarse a una conexión a tierra permanente tal como una tapa de caja de distribución
debidamente conectada a tierra. Siempre que utilice un adaptador, asegúrelo con un tornillo metálico.
EN CANADÁ, EL USO DE UN ADAPTADOR PROVISORIO NO ESTÁ PERMITIDO POR EL CÓDIGO ELÉCTRICO
CANADIENSE. Asegúrese de que el artefacto esté conectado a un tomacorriente que tenga la misma
configuración que la del enchufe. No se debe utilizar ningún adaptador con este artefacto.
DESEMBALAJE
Saque el circulador de aire de la caja. Levante la unidad usando la manija de transporte superior.
INSTRUCCIONES DE MONTAJE
NOTA: Esta unidad debe usarse con la ménsula de montaje en pared que viene incluida o la ménsula de
montaje móvil en piso (no incluida; se vende por separado).
INSTALACIÓN DE MONTAJE EN PARED
Encontrará una ménsula de montaje, tres tornillos de cabeza hexagonal, un tubo de pivote, dos pernos, dos
arandelas y dos tuercas de fijación. Ensamble como se indica a continuación:
1. Seleccione un lugar de montaje en un montante de pared o una superficie que sea lo suficientemente
fuerte para resistir el peso de la unidad. Verifique que la unidad tenga espacio libre suficiente a cada lado
para permitir un correcto flujo de aire.
ADVERTENCIA–SI EL MONTAJE ES INADECUADO, LA UNIDAD SE PODRÍA
CAER, CAUSANDO LESIONES Y/O DAÑOS A LA UNIDAD.
2. Para facilitar la sujeción segura de la ménsula de montaje se recomienda perforar
orificios guía en la superficie de montaje. Para ello, coloque la ménsula contra la pared
o el cielorraso en la ubicación de montaje seleccionada. Controle que la ménsula
esté nivelada. Con un lápiz, marque en la pared o en el cielorraso la ubicación de los
orificios (que se encuentran en la ménsula). Retire la ménsula y con una mecha de
3/16” perfore los orificios en la pared o el cielorraso donde están las marcas de lápiz.
